3.) Rhys X Sick! Reader ~Dreadful Flu~
I was laying down in the living room, coughing my lungs out. I felt vomit rise into the back of my throat and I let it out into a bowl next to me. It hurts to vomit since I, basically, have nothing left in my stomach.
I am home alone through this, but I understand. Rhys has a job and duties to attend to. I can't just tell him to come home because I'm sick. I'm not that type of significant other to do that to him. I know some may do that, but I will never do that.
I told Rhys when he woke up this morning I was fine because I did not want him to worry. I mean, I want him to come home now and see what my version of 'I'm fine' means, but I need to just pull through this.
I laid back down on the couch and pushed the blanket off of me. It was starting to get hot and a blanket on me makes it worse. So, why not kick it off of me? Besides, the cold felt nice anyway.
I picked up my phone from the coffee table and looked at the time. It was 4:30 p.m and that meant that Rhys was going to be home soon. Oh shit, RHYS IS GONNA BE HOME SOON!
Fuck, fuck, fuck....FUCK STICKS!! What do I do now? I felt vomit again and I let it out in the bowl beside me...once again. This is starting to hurt a lot more than it did before.
The door opened and a voice yelled throughout the house. "Honey, I'm home. You won't believe the day I had today." SHIT!
I stood up and walked down the hallway, but I ran into the bathroom and vomited in the toilet, loud gagging following behind my disgusting scene. I couldn't get anything else out of my system.
"Baby? Where are you at?" Rhys worryingly asked. I couldn't answer him because my head was practically shoved into a toilet.
I heard footsteps and the bathroom door opening. I laid my head on the rim of the toilet seat. I didn't even bother with worrying about who was at the door or that my head was on the toilet seat. Good thing I clean this every day and night.
"Oh my gosh, sweetheart!" Rhys shouted and ran over to me. I felt his hand on my back and his hand slid up and down my spine.
I turned my head and looked at him. He smiled at me and I faintly smiled back at him.
He looked at me. "Why didn't you tell me that you were sick?"
I sighed. "Rhys, sweetheart, you have a job to go to every day. You have duties to fulfill and to accomplish. I don't want to hold you back and give you more work to do so you can try and finish it all by yourself and stress yourself out."
He sighed and kissed my forehead. "Hey, I don't care about that. You are more important than my job and I would rather stay here with you and take care of you than leave you here by yourself."
I smiled. This is a dreadful flu, but I'm glad I'll have him here to help take care of me.
