Love was always a bit scary for the small male.He loved showing his affection in any way possible, but no one ever returned it and it just made him so insecure about his existence.

Not everyone was willing to go out of their comfort zone and hug and hold hands or even kiss the same gender.

So when the only person he knew allowed him to do that was gone, he was completely lost.Out of nowhere, his brother disappeared a few years ago.So the boy was alone with his father, who beat the living shit out of him almost every day.

His day was going quite well...his dad hasn't been seen the whole day and he got a decent grade for once.He also got less attention today so today must be his lucky day.

Dad:"jaeminniiieee~"the disgusting tone made the boy snap his head towards the direction of his door and he sighs while tears gather in his eyes.

And to think he had a good day.

He goes under his bed as quiet as he could, since this was the only way he had less of the torturing.

Not only was he shaking of fear, his tears this time seemed to pour even more and to add, his sweating didn't seem to stop.

His door busts open and he hears a sudden loud thud.

His eyebrows knit together.

That didn't sound like a step...

He waits for a few seconds, before he decides to just slightly raise his blanket which hid the fact there was space under the bed.

But he sees nothing.

Going to the other end, he does the same with the blanket, only to release his grip right away.

His eyes close and he takes a deep breath.

He doesn't allow his tears to fall, he just sits there, not being able to move a muscle.

Slowly, after a little while, he climbs out and looks at the helpless body beside his bed and his lips form a pout of confusion.

Not knowing what to do, he takes his biggest bag and stuffs in as much clothes as he could before slowly walking out of his room with his head low.

The night was dark, foggy, cold.Yet the boy had nowhere to go.He was stuck in the streets, not even knowing where his feet were taking him.

He stops in an alleyway.

Hides.

Then there's this sound...footsteps.Metal clicking, heavy steps, fast steps and fast breathing.

?:"drop your weapon"a voice speaks out, quiet, yet impactful
?:"we don't wanna hurt you"another voice speaks up, a warning tone coming from them
The little boy is baffled.What should he do...
?:"I'm not letting you kill me"
?:"we don't wanna shoot you.But you give us no choice..."
?:"this isn't the last of us"
?:"we know...and we're ready"a gun clicks
?:"they'll kill you"
?:"we know..."a sudden gunshot echoes through the alley "but we are prepared"

The young boy couldn't stop shaking and he finally releases a sob, his palm flying to his mouth and his eyes were wide.

A shadow then appears in front of the boy, him slowly looking up with fearful eyes.

?:"why are you here?"
Jaemin:"I'm sorry...I don't have anywhere else to be..."he trails off with a shaky voice
?:"come with us..."he adds and the young boy, too scared to argue or even ask, just nods agreeing.

Jaemin:"babe...are we gonna die?"he quietly voices out, finally having their alone time
Jeno:"do you want me to be 100% honest with you?"
The other just hums
Jeno:"I don't know baby...I really don't know...but I do know the others are doing their best to keep us alive.We aren't dying without a fight.And we aren't dying alone..."
The two, sitting back to back, tied to their chairs, hold out their hands and intertwine their fingers, a small smile forming on their features
Jaemin:"Jeno...I want you to know that I have never loved anyone as much as I love you...and if we don't make it out alive, the time I have spent with you were the best moments of my entire being and I wouldn't ever change a thing" he sobs out, making the slightly older put his head down
Jeno:"don't say that Nana...I plan on marrying you this year...and I am not letting these sick people ruin that...I owe you my life and, death do us part, I will give you my everything"
Jaemin:"I love you so much"
Jeno:"I love you too Jaemin.I love you more than the space the whole universe could hold..."
