Mallory Alison Forbes had been away from home for almost two years now, she had accidentally tapped into her magic when she was fifteen and naturally she freaked out, not knowing what was happening to her and also not wanting to hurt her mother or twin sister Caroline.

So she left notes for both of them and she ran away from home, though she did call her mom at least once a day and called and or texted her sister daily the whole time she was gone, and her friends as well, or well Bonnie, Matt and Tyler anyway.

The blonde smiled at Alessa, she had been staying with the older blonde since she left Mystic Falls, Alessandra was her very great-grandmother who was turned into a vampire.

Alessa had trained Mallory and taught her to control her magic. She also taught the young teen how to come out of her shell and showed her who she really was.

Mallory didn't tell anyone back home about her powers, not her mother or her sister, or her friends and to be fair Caroline hadn't told her about being turned into a vampire either. The older twin not wanting Mallory to be involved in the whole mess, since she wasn't in Mystic Falls anyway.

Mallory smiled at the older blonde, "I'll see you soon Alessa."

Alessa smiled back at her descendant "that you will Mal, that you will..." her smile morphed into a smirk, "watch out Mystic Falls, Mallory Forbes is coming for you."

Mallory laughed and gave the woman a tight hug, "thank you for everything Alessa... I wouldn't be who I am today without you."

The vampire gave her another warm smile "of course Mal, it was nice to have a protégé to train, though Kol would have been a far better teacher than I since he actually was a witch before being a vampire, I just learned what I know from him."

Mallory grinned at her "Well I'd say you still did a pretty good job, but I hope to get to meet him one day."

Alessa smiled "oh he would adore you as I do, Mallory I have no doubt about it." The blonde witch hugged the older vampire again, as they said their goodbyes with a promise to keep in touch until Alessa made her appearance in Mystic Falls.

With that Mallory grabbed her bags and headed out to her car and waved goodbye one more time at Alessa. Who smiled at waved back, in the two years she'd known the young blonde she had come to see her as more of a daughter.

Mallory pulled out of the driveway and was on her way to her hometown of Mystic Falls, Virginia for the first time in almost two years. She was excited to see her mom and sister... Though there was one person she might have been more excited to see, her best friend in the world Matthew Drew Donovan, who she called Drew, she has practically been in love with him since they were 12, but she was always too afraid of ruining their friendship to tell him how she felt but that was going to change... she was finally going to tell him.... she wws going to tell him about everything that had happened since she left, she thought it would be better to tell him face to face which is why she never mentioned it in any of their calls.

If only she knew that wasn't going to go the way that she had hoped it would.

She spent the next few hours on the road the radio blaring with the top down on her convertible mustang which she had worked hard to be able to get. Though Alessa offered to compel it for her but Mallory, wouldn't let jer, because she wanted to work for at least one thing that she owned, but anything else, she would take being compelled for her.

She just passed the Welcome to Mystic Falls sign and the first thing she did was text Alessa and tell her that she arrived safely. After that Mallory's first stop was the police station to see her mother.

The Forbes witch had a smirk on her face as she walked into the station and headed toward her mom's office.

Mallory knocked on the door and heard a "come in."

So with the smirk still present on her face she opened the door and stepped inside, closing the door behind her. "Hiya Mom."

Liz's head snapped up at the sound of her daughter's voice. A smile slipped onto her face "Mallory!" Liz got up and hugged her youngest daughter, Caroline was the older twin.

Mallory hugged her mom back "it's good to see you mom."

"Oh I've missed you so much sweetheart, I know we talked a lot while you were away but it's not the same... I'm glad you're home Mallory."

"I've missed you too mom, it's good to be home." Liz squeezed her a little tighter.

And so Mallory caught her mom up on anything that had happened since their last phone call. After a while, Mallory left her mom to get back to work and headed to the house to drop her stuff off and then she was going to unpack and then head out to find her sister.

Mallory pulled into the driveway of her childhood home, the place that she grew up in with a smile, it really was good to be home. She grabbed her bags and unlocked the door, heading into the house.

She went straight up to her old room which was across the hall from Caroline's. She smiled to herself she was looking forward to seeing her sister again. She unpacked her bags and decided to take a quick shower.

After she was finished, she got out of the shower, dried off, and got dressed. and of course, she was wearing the talisman that Alessa gave her, it helped her channel her magic when she did really powerful spells. It was a talisman that belonged to Kol when he was human. Alessa knew that Kol would approve of Mallory having it, she was their descendant after all. 

Once she was happy with the way she looked, Mallory grabbed her keys and headed out the door, her first stop to finding her sister to surprise her would be the Mystic Grill. She had wanted it to be a surprise which is why she didn't text and ask where she was.

If only she knew exactly what she was going to walk into when she got to her destination.

So here is the first chapter :D I really love this idea, my girl is going to be devastated in the next chapter but, in the end, she will get to be happy it'll just take a little while to get there 🤭😈😆.

I have decided that Matt, Tyler, Bonnie and Kol will be safe from the bashing and maybe Jeremy but everyone else is fair game.
