Chapter|3|

"The word love is not in my dictionary."_ Lee Y/n

As they entered the house, Y/n bumped into a solid figure made of wood. But it wasn't actually wood-it was her "oppa" (older brother), Jungkook. She looked up and saw his signature bunny smile, which annoyed her to no end day and night. Tasting victory, she smirked at him, confusing his instincts as he looked behind her and noticed another man.
"Jimin-ahh...!"
Jimin's train of thought came to a sudden halt as he heard the shout. Before he could react, he was engulfed in a tight hug from Jungkook. Jimin's face twitched with a mixture of surprise and discomfort.
"Jungkook-ah! Stop it! I can't breathe."
He started to push Jungkook away, but then another person joined in the hug with a boxy smile on his face.
"Taehyung-ah! You too! Stop, please!"
Seeing them all together after so many years, Y/n watched with a giggle. However, her giggle soon turned into sarcastic laughter, taking everyone by surprise. She clutched her hands to her stomach, laughing uncontrollably. The maknae (youngest member) stopped hugging and stared at her younger sister, laughing and forgetting her lines that she had rehearsed.
"Are you nuts?"
Taehyung asked, poking her arm, but she didn't dare to stop her laughter.
"Y/n, stop it!"
Jungkook yelled, but she continued laughing. Her laughter grew louder, but eventually, it came to a stop when her mom called from upstairs.
"Did my daughter eat something strange or did she fail her exam?"
Y/n gulped upon hearing her mother's voice and pouted.
"Come, let's have lunch, kids."
The middle-aged woman went to the kitchen and came back with different dishes-soups, kimbap, noodles, chicken stew, kimchi, and more. Rubbing her tummy, Y/n carefully picked up the food and filled her plate. She licked her lips, relishing the taste. Jimin, Jungkook, and Taehyung had finished their plates an hour ago, but Y/n couldn't stop eating. Jimin watched her every move, his emotions conflicting within him. It felt like she was shooting an arrow into his heart, and he couldn't resist. His deep love for her was blossoming like a glitch in his system, blurring his vision as the aroma of the food evaporated into his nose. His heart shattered like pebbles, causing it to bleed and blend into his body.
"Jimin! How was your journey here?"
An older voice interrupted the love-filled atmosphere in the living room, breaking Jimin's trance. He quickly composed himself.
"It... it was good, but the air pollution was quite bad."
"Yes, no doubt. Korea has unbelievably high air pollution these days."
The lady's voice cut through the air, redirecting her attention to her daughter, who had just finished her second round of lunch.
"Y/n, get ready. They've been waiting for you."
Mrs. Lee blurted out.
Y/n glared at them and impatiently waited for the day to be over, longing to retreat to her room. As she closed the door behind her, she plopped onto her bed, crossing her arms behind her head. Her moment of solitude was interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Come in."
She muttered through gritted teeth.
The door opened, and Jungkook entered, causing her annoyance to rise.
"Stay calm and chill, but before you say anything, I have an invitation for you."
She appeared confused.
"There is a party we are going to host at our club, the City Club. You have to come as my family," Jungkook said.
He knew she would likely say no, but he wanted to offer her the opportunity before she could reject it.
"I know you'll probably say no, but listen! You can invite anyone you want too."
Her face broke into a smile, and she suddenly hugged him, displaying sisterly audacity out of the blue. Jungkook rolled his eyes.
"Enough, I know you're thankful, but there are some rules. It's a party, and you should follow them."
"Okay, agreed."
"As it's your first time at a party, never touch a glass of alcohol. Second, avoid contact with boys as much as you can, and lastly, remember you are the sister of Lee Jungkook," he said, emphasizing his name.
"Why so serious?" she asked playfully.
"It's not funny to me," he sighed, considering whether to share the reason behind his seriousness but ultimately deciding against it.
"Y/n, you should protect yourself. You can study as much as you want, but don't be a bookworm like this. I'll be at the party, but I can't watch you all the time, so stay with Jimin and Taehyung as much as you can."
Her face shifted to an annoyed expression upon hearing Jimin's name from her brother's mouth.
"Okay."
"Don't sigh. They are the best guys, other than those drunkards in the club, and they will take care of you as their sister. I trust them."
"Okay, oppa, don't worry."
She quickly pulled out her phone from her pocket as Jungkook left the room to text Rose and Lisa about the party. Taehyung entered the room, sporting a boxy grin and holding a covered object.
"Here," he said, handing the package to y/n before exiting the room.
She ran her hand over the cover, which resembled a branded mall product. Could this be another secret? She touched the cloth-like texture and pulled it out, her eyes widening in shock. She blinked twice before removing the price tag. Sighing, she realized that if she didn't wear it, she would be doomed and grounded.
Jimin and Taehyung sat downstairs on a living room couch, both absorbed in their electronic devices, unable to tear their eyes away from them. Jungkook had already left with his driver and assistant for the club. Jimin felt something different, an atmosphere filled with the anticipation of a new season, like spring with glitters and sparkles floating in the air.
His eyes lit up as he saw the girl of his dreams descending the stairs, each step revealing her Snow White-like beauty. Her blue-style shoes twinkled under the room's lights. Her overall aesthetics filled the house, captivating Jimin's gaze. Her curled hair cascaded down, occasionally brushing against her shoulders. Her eyes moved with every step, bewildering those who looked at her. Suddenly, her attention returned to the two guys on the couch.
Jimin couldn't comprehend the emotions stirring within him.
"Taehyung, how does she look?" he asked.
She twirled in her dress, resembling an umbrella adorned with black glitter. Her chest was covered by a thin net cloth with a branded design.
"You look so beautiful that other girls will be envious. You look like a princess, baby!" Taehyung exclaimed, clapping his hands, which made Jimin scoff.
"Beauty, my foot!"
"Look at that brat! What's his problem? He's been annoying me since morning!" y/n exclaimed.
Y/n pouted and gritted her teeth. With that, she stormed out of the house, leaving Taehyung giggling at her childish behavior. They all got into the car, with Jimin staying silent in the back seat and y/n sitting on the opposite side. Taehyung couldn't contain his laughter any longer. Finally, he burst out laughing and looked at y/n's face, which unknowingly displayed a humorous pout and a glare directed at Jimin. Her makeup was subtly applied, and her pinky fingers fiddled with each other, nervously crumpling her dress. Jimin noticed her gaze and expression.
"What?" she asked, her tone tinged with anger.
"Nevermind, you would never understand," Jimin replied.
Taehyung took a deep breath, sensing the tension in the car. He hoped they would reach the club before any sparks flew in the back seat.
