Tearing down her beauty, she stepped out of the car only to get blasted by the music playing in the club. An annoyed expression appeared on her face as she quickly set her foot on the ground and hugged her besties, Rose and Lisa. "Awwu, you are cute, y/n," they complimented, making her blush.
"Cute! My foot!" Jimin's irritating voice crept in between. "Jiminnah! Stop your behavior, or I will shove you into the Han River," Taehyung warned from behind, showing their identification cards to the guards. "You should not have messed with me. I only came to this party because of Jungook."
"As if you'd come! Isn't it your first time at a party? If any drunkard throws up on you, it might be your fate," Jimin smirked.
"Gosh, that smirk!" She was about to punch him, but Taehyung intervened, dragging Jimin away before it escalated. Rose and Lisa held onto y/n, preventing her from causing more trouble.
"Who the fuck do you think you are, PARK JIMIN!" y/n shouted in frustration.
"Y/n, stop it! It's a public place!" Rose said, trying to discreetly move away from the commotion.
"No, I won't stop until I kill him with my bare hands," Lisa continued dragging her away as the guards chuckled, earning a glare from y/n.
Inside the club, Rose and Lisa tried to calm y/n down, knowing her temper could get the best of her. They wanted to keep her safe and out of trouble. She scanned the club, searching for a place where she could be alone, away from the dangers that lurked around at night in Seoul. MapoGu was known to be the best club in Seoul, but she was cautious.
Her gaze fell upon the bar, filled with whisky glasses and various brands of wine and alcohol. At eighteen, she knew she was underage, and her brother, Jungook, had warned her against touching alcohol. Still, the temptation to taste it lingered.
"Y/n!" she heard her friends call out, pulling her attention away from the bar. Rose and Lisa warned her not to go there, especially with Jungook watching over her. They knew about the club's illegal activities, and if y/n found out, it could jeopardize her safety.
She reluctantly gave up the idea of going to the bar, but her curiosity was piqued when she noticed Taehyung and Jimin engaged in a serious conversation with a man on a couch. She couldn't help but wonder who the man was and what they were discussing. She sat at the bar, keeping an eye on them. Her hand moved toward a glass, intending to have a drink, but her friends caught her before she could act on her impulse.
The man forcefully rested his hands on the glass table at the bar, sneaking his left hand into his pocket. Jimin paid no attention to the old man's ramblings as his focus remained on protecting y/n. She was important to him above all else. Suddenly, a young man produced a white packet, tearing it open with his teeth, oblivious to y/n's presence. He proceeded to mix its contents with her wine, a sinister smirk forming on his face. Sensing the danger, Jimin swiftly lunged towards the man, delivering a powerful blow to his face.
The wine glass shattered on the floor, and y/n turned to face Jimin, her eyes filled with anger, ready to drag her away from the situation. However, she broke free from his grip and approached the man who stood there, wiping the blood from his lips. He stared at Jimin with an inscrutable expression.
"Are you okay?" she asked the man, her voice filled with genuine concern.
The man nodded, his gaze shifting from Jimin to y/n. He seemed bewildered, as if unable to comprehend the unfolding events.
She asked the man, glancing at him with genuine concern as if it were her own worry. Then, she turned to Jimin, her innocent eyes searching for an explanation. "What the hell, Jimin? You hurt him out of nowhere, and now you're standing here with a smug smile?"
"It's none of your business, y/n! Just go home!" Jimin yelled back, prompting Taehyung to dial Jungook's number in case things escalated further. But y/n couldn't stay silent. "You stupid moron! I know you're annoying, but now you've hurt this innocent man. Who knows how badly you've treated others? Doesn't your damn family teach you how to..." Her words were cut off by a slap that Jimin would regret for the rest of his life. The force of the slap caused her body to stumble, turning her face and cheeks to the side. She looked at Jimin, who was breathing heavily and shedding a single tear that quickly vanished.
She couldn't believe what had just transpired. Her heart raced, and she wished she could say something in retaliation. In that moment, she even wished she could disappear from the club, or perhaps even end her own life. The onlookers started whispering among themselves, with two people at the center of the commotion. Struggling to maintain her balance, y/n lowered her gaze, tears falling uncontrollably.
Jimin pushed past Taehyung, who followed after him, calling out his name in concern. "Jimin, wait, please listen. Stay there...!" y/n pleaded, standing there in disbelief and feeling shattered. It was the worst day she could have imagined, and she regretted ever coming to the club. Her friends were nowhere to be seen, and she felt betrayed by her own existence. Resignation took hold of her as she contemplated her life.
Suddenly, she heard another voice from the crowd behind her. "Y/n," Jungook's stern voice reached her ears. Her feet went numb as she turned to face him, seeing the concern on his face. He pulled her away from the crowd, but she continued to struggle, feeling annoyed and furious.
"Let's go home, y/n," Jungook said without uttering another word. He drove them back in silence.
