_Park Jimin...

Taehyung observed the doctor attentively while the hospital staff swiftly transported him to a bed and admitted him in the casualty ward. He shook his head vigorously, trying to dispel the distressing thoughts racing through his mind. Worries consumed him as he considered the possibility that Jimin might be suffering from a hidden illness or experiencing trauma once again. Loss, once endured, is irretrievable, and the weight of this realization weighed heavily on him. Restlessly, he groaned, anxiously awaiting the moment when the door would open, revealing the news of Jimin's condition.

As he turned a corner of the hospital corridor, Taehyung spotted Jungkook and his father, accompanied by y/n, frantically approaching the reception desk to inquire about Jimin. Their faces displayed evident concern and worry for their dear friend. "Taehyung, how is he?" Jungkook implored, his voice laden with apprehension.

"He's not doing well, Jungkook," Taehyung replied solemnly, his gaze fixed upon the door to the casualty ward. Mr. Lee glanced at his daughter, who nervously bit her nails, a visible display of tension in this distressing situation.

"He will be alright," he reassured her, gently patting her shoulder. Jungkook also joined them near the casualty door. Anticipation filled the air as the door swung open, revealing a smiling doctor. A collective sigh of relief escaped Taehyung and the others upon witnessing the doctor's expression.

"Is he okay, doctor?" Taehyung inquired, his voice trembling with concern.

"Yes, he is fine. He just needs two days of rest. Has he had any previous traumatic experiences or shocks?" The doctor's question caused Taehyung's eyes to well up with tears, his voice quivering as he responded, "Yes, he has."

"Alright, please come and speak with me privately," the doctor requested, leading the way. Taehyung, being Jimin's closest friend, found it difficult to remain composed. He wept, finding solace in Jungkook's supportive embrace, as memories of Jimin's past struggles resurfaced, reminding him of the turmoil he had endured.

Y/n's guilt-ridden expression prevented her from making eye contact with the others. "Taehyung, he'll be alright, don't worry. We're all concerned for him, just like you," someone reassured. Taehyung's gaze turned sharp, fixated on y/n as she nervously twiddled her fingers. He knew she was innocent and couldn't be blamed; she had no knowledge of Jimin's troubled past.

"Leave her be, Tae. Jimin is strong, and she's still just an immature kid," Jungkook whispered in Taehyung's ear, trying to lighten the mood. Both of them chuckled, momentarily forgetting the gravity of the situation. Y/n looked at them incredulously, unable to comprehend how they could laugh amidst such circumstances. "Aren't you ashamed?" she asked, her gaze piercing both boys. Mr. Lee intervened, turning towards his daughter. "Y/n, behave yourself. They are your elders."

"Elders, my foot! Look at how they're mocking each other. Can't you see it, Dad?" Y/n's frustration was evident. Mr. Lee urged her to let it go, reminding her that they were in a hospital. "Just leave it, y/n, and don't raise your voice here," he advised.

"Hmm, sorry," y/n mumbled, calming down slightly. "I'm going to see the doctor," Taehyung declared. Jungkook agreed and they both headed towards the doctor's cabin. Taehyung reached the door and gently pulled it open, bowing respectfully. The doctor greeted him with a warm smile. "Are you his friend?" the doctor inquired. "Yes, I am," Taehyung confirmed. "Okay, please have a seat," the doctor invited.

Worry lines etched onto his face, Taehyung turned his attention to the doctor, listening intently to the explanation for Jimin's sudden fainting spell. "His head and brain were impacted by past trauma, which caused him to experience shock when he felt overwhelmed. Currently, he is under observation, and we have transferred him to the regular ward. It's crucial to keep in mind that he should not be subjected to any form of stress or further shocks. I understand that Mr. Park holds a significant position in a renowned company, but he needs to take a break from it," the doctor conveyed.

A glimmer of hope flickered in Taehyung's eyes upon hearing the doctor's words. "Okay, I'll take care of everything," he assured, determination evident in his voice. The doctor smiled warmly, and Taehyung exited the cabin, letting out a sigh of relief. Y/n noticed Taehyung and hurried over, seeking information. "What happened?" she asked, her eyes welling up with tears. Taehyung gave her a stern look, causing her tears to stream down her cheeks. Softening his expression, he observed her distress. "Oh, you silly girl. I was just teasing you. Oppa is sorry," he consoled, gently wiping away her tears.
"Why are you so innocent, yet you always end up quarreling with him?" he remarked, referring to her ongoing arguments with Jimin.

"I can't stand him, that's why," she gritted her teeth, causing Taehyung to chuckle. "But this time, you crossed the line," she added, her expression turning sad once again. "Oppa, I'm sorry. I regret it," she apologized.

"Don't apologize to me, apologize to him. Neither of you is guilty. His past has been a burning flame, reducing him to black ashes," Taehyung responded. She looked confused, prompting him to continue. "You wouldn't understand. You weren't born at that time when all of these things happened. He used to be sweet, kind-hearted, but now he's turned into a jerk, cold-hearted, which makes everyone hate him."

"But what's the reason behind all of this? Did he have a love affair...?" she began, but Taehyung swiftly covered her mouth, ensuring Jungkook or anyone else wouldn't hear.

"You're a foolish girl. He doesn't need love. He has seven friends who provide him with that. He despises life and his parents. Both of their parents were solely focused on money, jobs, and maintaining their reputation in the Seoul multinational companies," Taehyung said, gritting his teeth, without concern for how much his words hurt her.

Taehyung used to be as sweet as her brother Jungkook, but now everything had changed. Time had played its part, transforming him into the opposite. Her eyes glistening with unshed tears, she looked down and walked away from the scene, making her way to the stairs in the hospital. The white tiles beneath her seemed to sympathize, wearing a sad smile as they witnessed her tears. His hurtful words had shattered her strength and confidence, leaving her feeling broken with each stumbling step she took. Nevertheless, she kept walking, her emotions wailing with the melancholic tunes that filled the hospital corridors.

The couples sitting at the steel desk and the elderly people present couldn't help but glance at her condition, observing her disheveled hair and the sadness etched on her face. As she reached the door, she hesitated for a moment, her tears calling out her pain. Embracing the darkness of the night, she stepped outside, feeling the weight of her mistakes pressing upon her. Amidst the darkness, the stars above seemed to smile down at her, providing a glimmer of solace. As she drew each circle with her fingers, she felt a sense of healing for her sorrowful heart.

Flashback...

"Mommy, why are these stars facing us?" The child asked, seated on her mother's lap. The woman, who radiated beauty despite the scars on her hands, lovingly stroked her child's hair, her touch softened by the hidden traces of a difficult past.

"Stars are the most captivating sight at night. They remind us that even those who have passed away are watching over us, hoping to see us live happily," the mother explained tenderly. "Believe me, our loved ones are still watching over us, my dear."

The current husband was the woman's second spouse, bringing a transformative change to her life. With the births of their children, Jungkook and y/n, her days transitioned from the anguish of an abusive past to the blossoming of warm hugs and affectionate kisses. The flashback ended, and she wiped away her tears, trying to compose herself. "It is true that love can hurt, but sometimes it's worth enduring the pain... Isn't that right, y/n?" She hastily brushed away her tears and turned towards the voice, seeking affirmation. "Right, y/n?" she repeated, yearning for a comforting response.
