Yay! I'm updating! Woo! I have had the idea for this chapter for a while and I couldn't wait to publish it. So here you are! Enjoy!
♡THALIA♡
A few nights after the scary movie thing, I led the hunters over to the Dining Pavilion. We passed the Hades table and I saw Nico there. I had a strange feeling in my gut when I looked at him.
His hair was in his dark obsidian eyes as he picked at his food. All of a sudden his head shot up towards me. He looked angry, but when he saw me, he smiled. Nico Di Angelo. Smiled. At. Me.
I blushed and smiled back. Wait, blushed?!
Stop it Thalia! I scolded myself. But he looks so cute! No he doesnt! Yes he does and you know it!
I sighed and sat down with the hunters. I willed my plate to give me chicken parmigana. One of my favourites. But tonight I wasn't feeling 100%. I looked around at the campers.
Ever since Percy and Annabeth had gotten back from Tartarus, they were both allowed to sit at the Poseidon table, even if Annabeth wasn't at her respected table, Athena didn't actually mind.
Jason, Piper, Frank and Hazel went back to Camp Jupiter this afternoon.
Calypso was chasing Leo around with her spoon full of baked beans. When she caught him, she threw the spoon at his face. But, being the weirdo he was, he grabbed her waist and kissed her.
When I looked at all of my friends with someone, I felt a pang in my heart.
I wish I could have someone like that, I thought. But I can't. My eyes drifted to the son of Hades. He waved and I waved back. That's when it hit me.
Nico didn't have anyone. Not a girlfriend, not a mother. His father was Hades, so he was always in the Underworld and didn't have time for him. Hazel was his sister, but she lived at Camp Jupiter.
I shook my head and kept eating my food.

NICO
At the campfire, I sat across from the hunters, on the other side of the fire. I stared at the campfire, lost in my thoughts.
I glanced up and saw Thalia, staring at the fire too. She looked beautiful, the firelight in her hair, the way her eyes sparkled like stars whenever she laughed. Hang on, woah, Di Angelo. She's your best friend and that's the closest you can get.
Before I knew it, the songs were over. I trudged back my cabin. My empty cabin. I saw everyone else going back, laughing with their brothers and sisters and friends. I walked into my gloomy cabin, put on my pyjamas and jumped on my bed.
Soon, sleep got me.
A/N: BoO spoilers!
I was next to the Athena Parthenos, just after Octavian had been catapulted into the sky. Will shook his head at me and started yelling at me. "You stupid son of Hades! You could've done something!" All of a sudden Percy and Annabeth were there too. "You're so worthless! Can't you do anything anything right?!" Percy yelled. Then Bianca and mum were there. "I'm so ashamed of you, Nico." "You're no son of mine." Then...Thalia. "I could NEVER like you. You runt." Then Luke walked up to her and they kissed passionatley. My heart shattered into a million pieces. Then it was like I was falling through a dark hole. "Worthless." "Stupid." "Murderer." The voices whispered in my mind.
I screamed and my eyes shot open.
I sat up, shaking and covered in sweat. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes.
Worthless.
I shook my head and stood up. I looked at my bedside table at the clock.
1:34 am.
Great, I'm never going to get back to sleep.
So I threw on a shirt and jeans and headed out the door. It was still dark, so I had to be careful of harpies.
I hummed 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams' as I walked along the beach, trying to clear my head. I started walking past the Zeus Cabin when I heard someone.
It sounded like someone vomiting. Wait, if Jason wasnt here, then who-Thalia.
I ran up the door and opened it. I walked in to see a very pale looking Thalia bent over a toilet bowl.
"Thalia?" I said softly, surprising myself by my tone.
She looked up. "Yeah?"
"Are you okay?"
She looked at me and opened her mouth to say something, but she ended up having her head back in the toilet.
"Oh gods." I said and went over to her. I knelt down beside her and pulled her hair out of her face. She smiled weakly at me. Then threw up again.
"How on earth did this happen?" I asked.
"Apparently there's something going around." She said.
"Oh. Are you finished?" I said, gesturing to the toilet.
She nodded weakly.
"How about I take you to the imfirmary-" "no!" She cried. "Do you know how bad it would look if the Leutinent of Artemis was in the imfirmary because she threw up?"
"Oh. Yeah. Um, how about you get to your bed then, and I'll get you a bucket." For some weird reason, I felt like I should take care of Thalia. I guess it was because she's my best friend?
She nodded and stood up. But her knees buckled and she collapsed.
Without thinking, I scooped her up and walked to her bed on the other side of the room. I set her down and pulled the covers over her.
"I'll be right back." I told her and went and got a bucket.
I sat it down beside her.
She threw up again and I sat behind her on the bed, pulling her hair back and rubbing her back. It felt so natural taking care of my best friend.
Once she was finished she layed back on me. I flinched. Her skin was burning hot.
"Holy Hera, Thals. You're boiling!" I cried. She just nodded tiredly with her eyes closed. I got up and carefully laid her back down. I grabbed a cold facewasher and sat back on the bed, putting Thalia's head in my lap. I dabbed her forehead with the facewasher. It was silent, except for the light snoring coming from Thalia.
-----------------------♥----------------------
The next morning I woke up to see black hair. Thalia. I hugged her and she didn't stir luckily. I whispered, "Thalia." She didn't move. "Thals?" I said a bit louder. Still, nothing. Then I shook her. Nothing. Even though I was gonna get zapped by her, I was worried, so I yelled in her ear. "THALIA!" She. Didn't. Even. Flinch. That's when I realised something was up.
I picked Thalia up, and ran out the Zeus' s Cabin door. It was about eight o'clock, so I figured SOMEONE would have to be up at this hour. I ran past Percy and Annabeth, who yelled, "What in Hades, Nico?!"
But I kept running until I reached the imfirmary. I saw Will talking to a little girl who had her arm in a sling.
"Will!" I cried, running up to him. "What's wrong, Nico?"
Then whrn he saw Thalia, he said, "bring her over here."
I did as I was told and layed her down on a bed. "So what happened?"
I replied, "She won't wake up."
Will looked confused. He shook her and waited.
Then electric blue eyes were looking at me. What?! But I couldn't even wake her!
"Nico? Where am I?" Her beautiful voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Uh...well um...the imfirmary...because you wouldn't wake up." I struggled to get it out and my cheeks were probably burning.
She stared at me. "What?! You, of all people, couldn't wake me up?"
I rubbed the back of my neck. "Uh..."
"Anyway, lets go. I want to get out of here."
She got up and grabbed my hand. But as soon as she touched it, she passed out.
Dun dun DUN! Ooh, what is happening with Thalia? Why could Will wake her but not Nico? Stay tuned to find out. I'll HOPEFULLY update in a couple of days. Thanks for reading!
