Chapter 5 {Edited}
•••UMAR POV•••
I started working as a managing director at my dad's company when I was 22 years old. I was working at the company as well as studying for my degree in law at the university of California. That was 4 years ago.
Currently, at 26 years old, I am both the CEO of Aadeem Enterprises as well as the owner of the best law firm in Silver springs city. Being a lawyer and CEO isn't an easy task, I admit. But as the workaholic and bossy guy I am, I manage just fine.
My family is one of the most powerful and influential families in Silver springs. They have accumulated wealth worth billions over the years. My family is always the headlines in magazines, newspapers and televisions. We are always the target of paparazzi and nosy reporters. And there have always been news of me around with different girls of different status, that a rumor was spread about me having a child.
In order to curb the rumors, my parents had me married to Hafeezah Khalid. That was not the only reason for the betrothal --the other reasons were, so that I could start a family of my own and to also merge Khalid enterprises with Aadeem Enterprises. Khalid Enterprises was drowning in bankruptcy and the only way to save the company from being shut down was to marry its owner.. Hafeezah Khalid, and merge both of our companies into one. A mission that was successful.
"Umar, your father and I are not getting any younger. We need a grandchild soon. " That was my mother's favourite mantra. She always chanted it to me and it's why, when the marriage proposal of Hafeezah Khalid arrived at our home, my mother was the first person to accept it. She was beyond ecstatic that finally, I would marry a muslim girl and start a family of my own. I must confess that deep inside I was happy especially after seeing my bride for the first time. She was the most beautiful lass I had ever seen. Her mismatched eyes, her short curly raven eyelashes, the slim outline of her visage, her slender nose which fit perfectly on her face and her plummy pink lips. Had she not been putting on a burqa then I would have had a chance to explore her curves. It's no wonder I drafted a special contract that would ensure she never puts on that ridiculous attire.
Little did I know that I was marrying a rebel. The girl simply does what she feels like. Yesterday when she came to my office, she had the audacity to argue with me. She even went ahead and belittled me. Who does she think she is to belittle the great Umar Aadeem? No one speaks back at me or questions my authority. I guess I will have to show my wife her place.
A grin crawled up to my visage as plans on how I would teach her a lesson invaded my brain. That morning, I was seated in my office going through the firm's documents. A cup of steaming coffee was lying on my desk. The scent of the caffeine infiltrated my nasal cavity, soothing my olfactory senses in the process. A gentle breeze gushed into my office, through the colossal glass windows. Honks and car beeps resonating from the roads, created a perfect morning tune. I grabbed the cup of coffee and got up from the comfort of my leather swivel chair and advanced to the glass windows. I drew the cup closer to my lips and sipped the beverage while admiring the beautiful view of the city. I always love gazing at the sky scrapers which tower over tall buildings and also the traffic packed roads.
"I need to talk to you. " My wife's voice disrupted my peaceful moment. She had barged into my office and judging by the tone of her voice, she wanted to pick an argument.
I took a deep breath then walked back to my chair. I placed the cup on the desk and leaned back in my seat.
My gaze rested on my source of problems. She was clad in a long, sky blue long sleeved gown that accentuated her curves. I could clearly see her curvy hips and bossom. Her slender neck which was adorned with a simple neck lace, was on display. Her back length obsidian locks of hair was neatly crocheted. I couldn't stop staring at her mesmerising beauty. She was truly a marvel, without her burqa.
"Hey, are you listening to me Umar? " Her voice yanked me from my sea of thoughts.
"Oh.. Yes. " I composed myself.
She took a seat on the chair, infront of my desk. It was at that moment that I realised that she looked bothered by something. Wrinkles of worry had creased her brow and her fleshy lips were curled in a pout as she fiddled with her henna adorned fingers.
"What's the matter? " I managed to ask.
"Umar, I just found out that my own mother deceived me. She made me sign not only the marriage contract but also, the property documents. She took everything from me. " Hafeezah stated with anger and sadness in her voice.
"I trusted her, Umar and yet she didn't hesitate to betray me. How could she do that to her own daughter? " A pool of tears was cascading her cheeks.
"You know, that house was left to me by my own dad. He wanted me to have it. But my selfish mother went ahead and sold it. "
Her sad state was affecting me and I couldn't help but feel sorry for her. I could see her vulnerable side. A side of hers that I had never seen.
"But you know what? She made her choice, they all did. And I am going to do everything to make sure they pay for their deeds. " She got up from the seat then commenced pacing back and forth in the room. A cute frown had formed on her face and I couldn't help but admire it. My eyes roamed all over her feminine figure, inwardly imagining how my hands would feel like, while caressing her curves. My lips itched to peck her long flawless neck and litter it with love bites. Her lips were just begging to be claimed and kissed to submission. My heart was dancing dangerously in the confines of my chest upon the erotic thoughts that meandered in my brain.
Snap out of it, Umar! She's your nemesis of a wife so stop having such thoughts about her!
I sat upright and shook my head in order to clear my messed up head.
"Umar, I need your help finding my mom and my family. You have the best technology in your company I am pretty sure, you can have them tracked down. " She proposed.
"Hafeezah, I don't think that's a good idea. If your family left, it's because they don't want to be found. " I managed a reply.
"Umar, I want to find them. I want them to answer me as to why they sold me off like a goat. " She spoke.
A laughter escaped my lips, " Goat? "
"What's funny about that? " She cocked her crescent- shaped eye brow.
"All of it. Why would you compare yourself to a goat? "
"Because it's the only animal I could think of. Anyway, the point is, my family manipulated and used me for their own selfish gains. And I need them to pay. " She sounded determined.
"Hafy, suppose you find them what will you do to them? Will you get them arrested? " I was curious.
"Why'd you call me Hafy? You have no right to give me nick names. " She pouted with her hands on her waist.
"But I do. I am after all, your lawfully wedded husband. " I smirked then winked playfully. Her eyes widened with stupor.
"Don't --wink at me. That's perverted." She pointed her index finger at me.
"I am your husband and you are mine which means, I can do whatever I want with you. " I rose from my seat and commenced making my way towards her. She moved back with every step that I took towards her.
"Um--ar, stay back. Do not come close--I will scream if you do. " She stuttered the words while pointing her index at me.
"Come on, scream. No one will hear you and even if they do, they will think that I am just having fun with my wife. Which means, they'll leave us alone and uninterrupted. " I whispered the words while advancing for my prey. Honestly, I was loving every bit of this. Seeing her cower in fear made me so happy. Her back hit the wall--I had finally cornered her.
"You-- wouldn't dare touch me without my permission. " She lamented while pressing her palms on my broad chest in an attempt to push me off. Her plan however failed.
"Why wouldn't I? You're my wife after all and I have every right to touch you. " I breathed on her ear then brushed my lips on the shell of her ear. A needy gasp exited her lips at my actions. Her feminine shampoo and body lotion caressed my nostrils as her thudding heart created a perfect tune which soothed my ear drums. She was mine, all of her belonged to me and I couldn't help but smile at how lucky I was to have her as my wife.
"Um--ar. " Even the sound of my name from her lips did unexplainable things to my body. Her trembling supple lips, yearned to be kissed and claimed by my lips. Her flawless skin was tempting my tongue which craved to lick and toy with every inch of it. My fingers desired to caress her long hair and sniff it.
All of me craved all of her.
My lips brushed against hers and she gasped at the action while gripping my coat tightly.
"I could do so many things to you, Hafy. Things that will make the devil himself to blush. " I murmured against her lips then left a gentle peck.
"Umar this--is not right. " She stuttered.
"You mean the kiss? Or the words? "
"The--" She was unable to complete her phrase.
"If I can recall, we didn't consummate our matrimony and yet we're husband and wife. None of this is wrong because I am doing what every husband should do with his wife. " I planted a light peck on her lips.
"But--what if I am --not ready? " She added.
"Then, I'll wait. " I pecked her once more then created a distance between us. "I'll wait until you're ready. " I traced my finger along the side of her face.
Her brown eyes were staring shyly at me. Her cheeks were flushed, making her look adorably cute.
"Anyway, will you help me find my family? " She inquired.
"Yes. I will. "
"Thank you, Umar. I have to go now. " She hurriedly walked out of the room.
A small smile tugged at my lips as I resumed my seat. Hafeezah's face kept flashing before my eyes for the rest of the day.
What has this girl done to me?
Was the only question that played in my head.
Umar is a pervert 🙄🙄
