Kate's POV

Dahil sa galit ay napa walk out nalang ako bigla, pero mayamaya pa ay may narinig nalang akong mga yabag ng paa mula sa likod ko.

Thinking that those footsteps are from Jude, nagmadali akong lumakad papunta sa gate hanggang sa......

"Ate Kate!"

"Rin?" Agad akong lumingon nang marinig ko ang boses niya.

"Ha...ha....buti naabutan pa kita." Hinihingal niyang saad habang may isang maliit na ngiti sa mga labi niya.

"What's the matter? Hinihingal ka oh."

"Baka hindi kasi kita maabutan eh, I want to show you something."

"What is it?"

"It's in my room, but don't worry, binuksan ko ang bintana sa kwarto ko bago ako lumabas, kaya maiiwasan natin magkasalubong with my brother."

"O-Okay, sige. Tara."

Nagtagal din kaming naglakad patago ni Rin pa-ikot ng bahay dahil baka may makakita samin.

Habang dahan-dahan kaming lumalakad ni Rin ay na-ibulong niya sakin na hindi daw siya pwedeng makita ni Jude dahil mayayari daw siya.

It's only after we got to his room did I know the reason. Sumunod daw kasi siya sa yapak ko.

Ang kwento niya, susundan daw dapat ako ni Jude pero tinadyakan niya daw yung ##### ni Jude para makatakas daw ako.

It's probably not good for me to say this but, "Well done."

"Hehe."

"Ano nga pala 'yung ipapakita mo sakin Rin."

"Ahh...umm, ate Kate?"

"Yes?"

"Ano kase, si mama palang ang nakaka-alam nito."

"I see. Don't worry, hindi ko ipagsasabi kahit kanino."

"Really?"

"I promise."

"Alright then, please close your eyes for a while."

"For how long?"

"Umm, 10 minutes?"

"Copy that!"

"No peeking, okay?"

"Okay!"

I have no idea kung ano ang balak ipakita sakin ni Rin.

My eyes are closed, pero wala naman siyang sinabi na bawal makinig kaya pinakiramdaman ko nalang kung ano ang ginagawa niya—pero wala ih, hindi ko talaga mapagtanto kung ano ang meron.

And when the time is nearly up.....

"Okay na ba Rin?" Medyo nangangalay na ako, late ko na rin kasing na-realize na nakatayo lang pala ako. I should have sat down, silly.

"Eto naaa. Please open your eyes in 3.....2.....1!"

And I did, I opened my eyes.

Shocked? Confused? No, I felt pleasantly surprised.

Oh Rin, I never would have expected.

"Rin? You.... you're so—"

"Weird?"

"No..."

"Disgusting?"

"Never!"

Hearing that, tears fell from his eyes.

Nilapitan ko siya at agad pinunasan ang mga luha niya.

"What are you doing, Rin? You're gonna ruin your makeup! And this dress....it looks perfect on you."

"Really?"

"Really." As in seriously, I never would have expected that within the frame of 10 minutes, Rin will be able to change himself from being a simple,  introverted looking boy, into this....this jaw-dropping, gorgeous lady.

He's beautiful—or she? Either way, I love how he looks. His slightly frizzly, long black wig, his jade coloured contacts, his slightly blushed cheeks, curled long lashes, plump and pink lips, not to mention his white, intricately designed white dress—and is that a Prada high heels!?

There's only one word that I can say, "Slay. You slayed this look so hard, girl!!"

"T-Talaga ba? I don't look odd?"

"Odd? Are you serious!? Eh mas maganda ka nga sakin ehh!"

"You're kidding."

"I'm not! Why did you only tell me this now? Oh my little sister, we'll have so much fun!"

"Wait, ate Kate!"

"No, I won't wait, let's have you wear other dresses!"

"C-Can you do my makeup?"

"We'll even do you hair, come come!

"Ate Kate.....Thank you *sob"

"Hmm? What are you thanking me for?"

"I thought you'll find me weird."

"Umm....maybe you are kind of weird."

"Huh?"

"But you know what, in English, weird could be replaced by the words different, new, unique, fresh, unconventional, rare, and with the help of some silly plays of word—weird can even mean beautiful. Like you."

"I'm beautiful?"

"All of you, and you know what? I kind of feel bad to other people now."

"Why is that?"

"Because it's such a waste to miss this breath-taking sight I'm seeing right now."

"Ate Kate naman eh."

"I'm serious.....I'm serious. So in exchange of me keeping this secret, I want you to promise me one thing."

"What is it?"

"One day, once you're ready, once you're brave enough, I want you to show the world this side of you, this bright and vivid color of Rin—not for them, but for you. Will you promise me that?"

"......Alright, I promise."

"Good, don't forget that okay?"

"I'll never."

"Perfect! Now, shall we try some dresses?"

"Yes, please! This time, I want a flamboyant look."

"Flamboyant look it is!"
