Government Dogs:
Hunters who's focus is tho exterminate the population of all creatures that possess magic... They believe that the world must be kept in order by following their rules. They develop different weapons that murder faster, they don't follow the laws imposed by the treaty... Who do you believe is the real monster here?

"This is enough bloodshed from all of you. (Y/n) return back with your pack.", he said, now next to me. I stood my ground, I wasn't leaving without Pops. "You stay out of this, Book Keeper.", growled Sakazuki. "I remind you that I am also a King. We have an agreement that the government wouldn't go after supernatural beings in our territories... You also killed a fellow King.", said the redhead. "Shanks, I suggest that you also look at the fact that Newgate attacked our base and so led his downfall.", said an elder man. "Sengoku seems that you're here as well... You have a point but they also rescued many of our kinds that were held here after they were taken from our territories... This a clear violation from your part.", frowned Shanks.
"We will have to meet again to discuss what has happened, for now, I ask that you leave.", said Sengoku. "Not without my people.", I said, looking at the corpses of the many people that belonged to the pack. The older hunter looked at me and then at Shanks. "He said to run along, mutt.", said Sakazuki, shooting his gun. The bullet deflected as the shield of a BookKeeper covered me; Shanks started unsheathing his sword and the soldiers all started falling on the ground. "STOP!", shouted Sengoku. He sighed and nodded, many red hooded Book Keepers started appearing and taking the bodies; Shanks lead me away and I looked back to see Sakazuki mouthing something at me.
THIS ISNT OVER...
I wanted to sob and scream my heart out but instead walked into the room where the bodies of our dead were being placed. I saw Pops body and walked over to him. "I'm so sorry, Pops... I should have done a better job...", I cried softly, hugging my father's arm. Shanks placed his hand on my shoulder. "I would like to have the bodies checked before they are buried... That bullet that was used against Edward was no normal bullet. My people will clean them up and ready them for a decent burial after we are done, I promise...", he said. I didn't know the man before me but I had met the Book Keepers before and I knew that they were in charge of keeping order to our worlds. I nodded before I saw Zoro enter and he quickly scooped me up and held me tight; only then did I sob my heart out. He kissed my head and thanked Shanks before going upstairs; he calmed me down before we entered our room.
"Mommy!", cried Hayato, getting off the bed. He reached for me and held on tight as Zoro picked him up. I kissed his head and sighed, we had lost many of our kind and also saved many others. "Papa?", asked Hayato, looking for Pops. I held my breath, he was practically raised by the man since the day he was born, I tried to say something but nothing came out. Zoro saw how I was struggling and held Hayato's hand. "Hayato, Papa isn't coming back.", frowned Zoro, trying to be careful with our son's mind. "Why?", asked Hayato, clearly wanting to know what had happened. "He died, Hayato. He can't be with us anymore... Something happened and he's going to sleep now, he is going to rest happily...", explained Zoro to the best of his abilities. Hayato looked down and hid his face in my chest; he was very attached to Pops, his age didn't let him comprehend what death meant but he knew he was never going to see Pops again; I frowned and rubbed his back.
We prepared ourselves over the past few days, on the day of the burial we walked downstairs and were ready to bury our people, Shanks was waiting for us. We entered a car, we drove for a long time before stopping at a port. We exited the car and got on the boat with a few more people. Shanks navigated the boat to an island; there the funeral was held for all of the pack members. Shanks decided that the King deserved his own burial ground along with his family members, he had proclaimed that one of their neutral lands would be the burial ground, as a signal of their support. I stood there in front of the graves and walked over before placing a flower, Hayato placed a flower on the tomb before patting the cold stone. "Night night...", he whispered. I bit my lip because Pops was the only one that would tell him that before rocking him to sleep. I felt a pat on my shoulder and Zoro gave me a small smile reassuring me that it would be okay. I nodded and picked up Hatayo, only for a second before he insisted on standing and holding my hand. Zoro approached the tomb and left a flower, he then leaned his forehead against the stone. "Thank you for taking care of them... I'll fulfill my promise...", he whispered. We moved aside and the rest of the pack started to place flowers and mementos around the graves, many had placed their swords or katanas around the graves. They had been gifted to us by Pops, it only felt right to leave them there to protect him.
Soon the pack gathered and waited for me, I walked over and held my sobs in front of the pack, I grabbed my katana and stabbed it into the soft soil. "Thank you for everything, as the successor, I vow to avenge you and lead this pack with the leadership and compassion that you once used.", I said while going on my knees. As I got up, I turned to the pack and looked over them. Many had their doubts about me just like Teach, many more worried about our home and the territories we protected, and I was about to make sure their doubts and worries would vanish.
"Today we are gathered here to not only honor our father but also our brothers and sisters that fell that day, many of you have worries and doubts... I AM HERE TO REASSURE YOU THAT WE WILL CONTINUE TO LIVE AND PROTECT OUR FAMILY.", I said, catching everyone's attention. "I am not the leader that you hoped for but I am the one that will continue to ensure our place here, not only for my child but also for all of the children that we have. I will do my best to make sure that they live in a world with no fear of being hunted or exiled from society.", I stated. Everyone listened, eyes full of hope, they had lost our father but they felt reassurance in my words. Zoro held Hayato and looked at me. "I do not wish to command you, you are not weapons or things... I want us to continue to be the family that Pops wanted. If you have anything to say I will listen, I will take action, and sure as hell not gonna sit on my ass and let you all go to battle on your own.", I promised. The pack all shouted in joy before bowing their heads to us, I looked at Zoro and smiled before we bowed our heads back at everyone.
Once we arrived back into the car, I noticed Shanks smiling at us. "I can see why Whitebeard chose you...", chuckled Shanks. Zoro chatted with Shanks while I held Hayato, hoping he would sleep for a bit. He finally did and soon we had arrived back home, as we got down I noticed Sora standing there with her children. We got down and her twins ran over and wanted to be carried. I carried Alciel while Zoro picked up her sister, Luciel. Sora apologized while holding her eldest by the hand, he was very shy and always tried to stay close to his mom. "Law is working with Marco to help Luffy... Ace and Marco are sorry for not attending...", she frowned. "It's okay, thank you for helping us...", I smiled and bowed my head. She karate-chopped my head and I laughed. "Stupid! You are a Queen now, don't bow your head at me!", she hissed. "She is right, both of you as Queens should only bow your heads towards your kin.", explained Shanks. "Regardless, she's part of my kin.", I sighed. We all entered the bar and sat at a table while the children played together on the stage. "The bullets used had silver along with another component...", explained Shanks, showing us the data that was collected with studying the bullets. "While in the body they will poison your blood and stop our powers...", he frowned. "That would mean no magic...", frowned Sora. "No regeneration or physical strength on our part...", I frowned.
Shanks had explained that there was more to study before he could find some kind of countermeasure to this situation, regardless he warned us to stay out of the government's hair. "I will have to go for now but you will hear from me soon.", he smiled and patted my head and then Sora's. I chuckled at the gesture while Sora only nodded politely; Zoro received a phone call and soon passed it to me. "Hello?", I answered. Ace answered the other line with a tired voice; he started explaining that Luffy was now recovered from the drugs that they had put into his system. "Good, bring him here as soon as Law permits it... The rest of his pack will be meeting here soon.", I said. Ace agreed and soon I clicked the phone to turn and see a pack of wolves that I soon had to greet. "Hello, you all don't need to bow.", I smiled, trying to ease the awkwardness, Boa was the first to talk. "You saved my husband and the pack from the government while I was away... I have to thank you for that...", she frowned. "It was nothing... On that note, how did it go with the hunt?", I frowned. Hancock was in charge of hunting down the people that had killed the Coven of the East. "It went well, I tortured and killed every single one of those Hunters.", she smiled. At the moment, I made a mental note not to fuck with this woman.
The rest of her pack was introduced and the one that I had met was more grateful than the others. They all faced Zoro and gave him a sincere apology for everything they had said and done, Zoro was very forgiving and reassured them that he held no grudge. I decided that the information that Shanks had discovered was to be shared with all the packs and covens around our territories. Many of our allies could die from what the government was making and that shook me to the core. Hancock listened and soon informed the Council of Witches; they reassured us that they would spread the word of things. "You may all stay here until Luffy is brought here. I don't mind the company.", I smiled. The pack all thanked me before they were escorted to their rooms by one of my members. "(Y/n), thank you once again for everything...", smiled Hancock before going to her room.
"Well then, let's get down to business with this new responsibility..."
