Chapter 13

"There was only one dream for me after my mom got killed infront of me. To live peacefully away from all this blood smelling places. To live without scaring anyone. To get someone who can make me feel secured and safe. To be with someone who can protect me in all ways."

Lakshya became sad remembering the dreams of her life that she told him once.

"I cant Samskriti. I can't fulfill either one of your wishes. I can love you and protect you. But you won't get the peace you dreamt off if you are with me. You can't live without scaring anyone. You will be always afraid about losing me and I will be afraid about losing you. Losing my love. I can't let this happen. I can't. Because I love you so much." He let out a deep breathe before standing up from bed and moving towards the balcony.

He started observing the surroundings and downstairs where he used to watch Samskriti dancing.
"I have been attached to this house very much. These places....I will really miss all. And yes, I will miss you too Samskriti" he wiped the drop of tear fallen on his cheek.

"I don't know how will be my life hereafter. Surely it will be an hell more than before. But now I have to bear this. I have to go away from you. If I leaves, may be you don't have to leave here. Your Appa may rethink about his decision. I don't have anyone. But you have a family who loves you a lot. Its better you don't miss them. It's me who should leave this house. Not you."

He walked towards the wardrobe and started taking out all his clothes one by one. He packed it into a small bag and turned to see his friends sleeping. He didn't wake them up but walked straight outside. He reached the corridor and stopped.

He thought for a moment and then walked towards Samskriti's room without making any noise. His heart was beating fast while he was trying to process the fact that he can't see her anymore. He slowly opened the door of her room and entered inside. He could see her sleeping peacefully in the moon light. He walked little closer to her and sat on the floor near her bed. He wanted to touch her but stopped realizing that it may wake her up. He looked at her admiringly with teary eyes.

"Thank you Samskriti. You are the first and last one who could realize my heart. Even I was not capable of understanding it at a point of time. But you did. You showered me with your love and care that I can't even dream in my life. I love you dear. Be safe always."he whispered in low tone that is audible only to him and stood up in determination.

He said goodbye to her from his heart and went outside. He had the urge to look back at her. But as usual he suppressed his emotions and feelings. He reached the courtyard and felt blank.

He observed the surroundings and there was no one present there. He sighed in relief and started walking forward when he felt someone holding his wrist. He turned back and was shocked.

"Going without me?"Samskriti asked sadly.
He could see her disappointed face in the moon light and felt an heavy weight on his heart.

"Samskriti....you here.."he was stammering.
"What? Didn't want to see me here so that you can simply escape?"she asked before giving him a time to relieve from his sudden shock.

She looked at him from head to toe and a sarcastic smirk occupied her face. He was confused seeing that.
"Good. You are more fast than what I thought. Can you please explain me why are you leaving here when I am the one who is supposed to go now?"she asked little louder making him alert.

"Samskriti please don't make noise. Someone will hear us."he warned.

"I don't care. I don't care Laksh. Even if the entire world see us now, I just don't care. I am ready to shout out to the entire world that I love you. This moment. I don't care about its consequences and I don't have any plan to get worried about that."she said sternly making him more shock.

"You are trying to escape from me ah? How can you Laksh? Why are you always thinking about only you?" She asked running her fingers through her hairs frustratedly.

He didn't have any answer so simply lowered his head down. She took the bag from his hand and threw it on ground. He stood there like a statue.

"Samskriti I am going for your good."he said in a low tone.
"Oh seriously? Then explain me how it is gonna help me."she shouted.
"Samskriti I..."he couldn't complete since she interfered.
"Now stop this please. Just stop it. I can't bear more reasons from you."she shut his mouth.
"You are not going anywhere. Understand?"she asked and he looked at her confused.
"I know you don't want my presence anywhere near you. But it should not be you. I know what to do now."she said determinantly making him speechless.

"Samskriti please listen to me once" he begged.
"No I don't want to hear anything from you now. Even if I go I would have only gone after saying atleast a good bye to you. But you didn't wait for that too."she was fuming in anger.

"I know that I am at fault. But I really wish that I shouldn't have confessed my love for you."he said and she felt her heart breaking.

"You are right. But more than confession you shouldn't have loved me in first place. Above all I shouldn't have met you Laksh."she spoke firmly.

"I didn't mean that."he said immediately.
"Take your bag and please go inside before I shatter down here." She said in a pleading tone.

"Samskriti"he called and came forward to hug her. But she moved back making him shock.

"Please. I don't want to lose myself infront of you anymore. Stay away from me so that it will cause less hurt to us."she said joining her hands.

He didn't speak anything after that. He took the bag from ground and went inside. Everything was witnessing by someone from the balcony without acknowledging his presence to anyone.

She ran away inside and entered her room. She started taking her clothes out and packed it in a bag in an hurry. Hearing noises from the next room Shivani came to check her. She was shocked seeing Samskriti packing her dresses fastly.

"What are you doing at this midnight?"Shivani was totally confused.
"Tell Appa that I am ready to go to Sydney."Samskriti said sternly making her sister shock.

Samskriti came out with her packed bag. She looked at the confused and sad faces around her. Shivani was crying on the thought of missing her little sister who was her life after the death of their mom. She walked to her and hugged Shivani tightly.

"Why are you crying Akka? You were such a strong and bold girl. Weren't you?"Samskriti asked while smiling.

"Samskriti, why did you take such a decision?" Shivani still couldn't believe how Samskriti could agree for this when she can't live away from her family.

"Because everyone here wants to send me away. So I thought to make them happy."she winked with a fake smile after breaking the hug from her dearest sister. She is trying to be strong till she leaves this house.

"I would have talked to Appa. You don't need to go dear. Nothing has happened to you throughout these years. Then why this sudden scare?" Shivani asked.

"Dont worry. I will come back on the day of your marriage with Sree Anna. Isn't it Anna?"she faked an excitement and looked back at Sreeram who gave her a sheepish smile back.

She moved away from her sister before she loses the last thread of her control. She stood infront of Sreeram and held his hand.
"Hello, dont ever think about not inviting me for your marriage. I will kill you."she said in a warning tone making him smile little.

"Dont make my Akka alone after I leaves. Dont make her cry. Do anything and everything that can keep her happy."she said and he nodded his head in agreement.

"I am really going to miss you Anna"she said and he couldn't control more. He hugged her and caressed her hairs.

"I don't know who will tease us and trouble me if you leaves. I can do everything for your Akka. But tell me dear what should I do for you?"he asked with little tears.

"I don't want anything except your happiness. Just start living for you leaving behind all this revenge and all."she requested and he nodded.

She then moved towards her favourite Veera mama. She stood infront of him with her arms crossed against her chest. He looked at her with a disappointed face.

"Why are you so serious today? This face don't suits you. You should be that old energetic and funny mama."she laughed which didn't have any effect on him. She was amazed seeing him not responding.

"Did you take any vow to not speak with me? Or are you angry at me for leaving you?"she asked confused.

"I am not going to leave you alone. So I am also coming with my angel."he said dragging the packed bags from the back side of a table. She was surprised and became happy from inside. Still she couldn't believe it.

"Mama, what are you doing?"she asked more like a whisper and looked at others face.
"Dont look at them. I already made it clear that I will be coming with you and took prior permission from your stone hearted useless Appa."he said and she widened her eyes. And then it changed to a slight chuckle.

"He only knows to help other people. He is not capable of understanding the sorrow of his own daughter."he spitted out making her sad. She quickly regained it with a slight smile on her lips.

She then walked to Lakshya's friends who were standing there with a lot of feelings hiding inside their hearts but can't even spit it out.
"Guna, Vinay.. thank you for always helping me and making me laugh. You guys are nice. I didn't even realize days passing in your company. Will really miss you guys."she said.
They wanted to tell something but stopped realizing the surroundings.

Her eyes travelled around the entire house to find the face she is searching for. But he was no where to be found. She was disappointed and her heart was crying. But she didn't want to be weak atleast at this particular point of her life.

She then walked towards her Appa who was standing like nothing has happened. He was not unaware of what he is going to miss. But he was incapable of reacting or showing it out. He may be a stone hearted but he didn't care about it as long as he loves his daughter and wants to see her alive till his last breathe. She was also aware about her Appa's hided feelings behind his silence.

"Appa, are you happy now? As you wishes I am going away. From you, from our family and from everything that was keeping me alive here."she said look at his eyes to see tears over brimming there. He was fighting with it and she smiled.

"Dont worry. I still love you a lot. Because Amma used to tell me how much you loves us. And that is enough for me to live hereafter. See I am happy."she tried to be calm and happy. But her body and mouth were betraying her.

"God bless you my angel."He placed his hands above her head and blessed her. That was enough for her to lose the control over her emotions. She fell on to his chest crying. He hugged her back.

"Appa will you come to see me?"she asked still hugging him.

"If your love is true no one can separate you from your loved ones. But it will depend on how much you tries and how much patience you are showing. God will be with those people who are not ready to give up even on the last minute."he said making her break the hug and looked at him amazed.

Not only her no one present there didn't understand what Sooryamoorthi meant. But he gestured her to start the journey making her relieve from her confusion and meaningless thoughts. She looked at Lakshya's friends for the last time and they gave him a sympathetic look and shook their head to convey her that the person she is expecting won't come. She was extremely disappointed and moved along with the others to reach the car.
She once again hugged everyone before entering into the car along with Veera. She insisted everyone to not come to airport so that she can avoid an emotional good bye at airport. She didnt want to stay there anymore. She knows that it will hurt her again and again each moment she delays the journey. She looked at the house where she was grown up for the last time and closed her eyes while the car started moving outside.

Lakshya was sitting at a corner on his room. The door was closed and because of that only darkness is prevailing in the room much to his relief. He didn't want to see anyone, anything. He didn't even want to feel alive in this moment. He was a coward to hide his feelings always and because of that it was her who always got hurt. Now she is gone. He can't see her anymore even if he wants to do. She is lost forever. And the biggest guilt for him is that he couldn't make her happy like she always wished even at their moments of togetherness. He was hurting her always. First with his arrogance, then with his rejection, then with his love and now he gave her the biggest sorrow in all ways. She is gone forever. Only because of him.

He opened his eyes with great difficulty when rays of light entered into his eyes. He looked at the partially opened door and the figure covering the sunlight from him. He frowned while standing up to check who it is. Soon it changed into a confused face seeing Sooryamoorthi standing with all his pride.

"Why didn't you come to depart my daughter? She could have see you one last time if you let go of your cowardice for a few minutes. But you didn't. "Sooryamoorthi spoke sternly making him shock. He felt his knees tiring and body becoming weak.

"Why Lakshya? Why didn't you? It would have been a great relief for her if you showed your face to her one last time when she was searching for you. But...or didn't you love her?"Sooryamoorthi asked showing disgust in his eyes.

"I loved her. But I couldn't love her the way she loved me."he spoke after a long pause making Sooryamoorthi smirk.

"Yes Sir. Your daughter loved me so much that she was even ready to die for me. But I can't let her die for me even if she is ready. May be I am a coward. But it's ok"he added.

"Sacrifice? There is no place for sacrifice in true love. It's all about getting what we wants, in whatever ways."Sooryamoorthi said in a challenging tone.

"That was exactly what I thought before coming here. I believed that I can get anything that I wishes for through money, power and strength. But your daughter. She changed my perspectives about life. She changed me to a human so that I also started thinking like a man instead of the devil I was. She sacrificed a lot for the happiness of people around her. Now also she went abroad not for her, for you, for me and for everyone's peace. Then why can't I do a little sacrifice for her well being?" He asked and Sooryamoorthi moved little forward to meet him face to face.

"Dont worry sir. I won't be here when she returns back. I will be very far away from her. But I promise if she needs my protection, I will be right infront of her without getting her know about my existence. That's all you wanted na? To save her from me." He said.

"I wanted her to be safe. Not only from you, from every danger she can get in. But I thought you won't let her go. You are making me confuse Lakshya. Instead of her you tried to leave this place. Why?"Sooryamoorthi asked doubtful.

Lakshya was shocked for a moment.
"So you saw it. Good. I was not trying to escape. But I was trying to help her. I am aware about how much she loves you all. She didnt want to go away from you. You didn't want both of us together, right? So it was better I go away. But your daughter didn't allow me." Laksh answered.

"You was always scared to accept your love infront of her. You might had so many reasons. I am not asking that. But you should do that infront of me for once. Only once. Tell me do you love her?"Sooryamoorthi asked in a stern tone.

"I love my Samskriti."Lakshya actually screamed making Sooryamoorthi smile slightly.

"If your love is true no one can separate you from your loved ones. But it will depend on how much you tries and how much patience you are showing. God will be with those people who are not ready to give up even on the last minute." Sooryamoorthi said the same words that he said to his daughter before she leaves.

Lakshya looked at him without understanding what he is meaning.

"My daughter always tried to save this relationship. She begged you many times for getting you in her life. For getting your love. For getting the life she wanted. It was always you who made her disappoint. Now this is your last chance Lakshya. If you still didn't give up, show your courage atleast now. For her, for your love." Sooryamoorthi spoke making him stunned.

"Time is now 9:55 am. Her flight is at 10:30 am. 45 minutes from here to reach the airport. If you can reach her before she leaves, then she is yours Lakshya."Sooryamoorthi held his shoulder while he was standing with widened eyes.

"It was always my daughter who took effort for your love. Now its your chance. Use this last chance man." Sooryamoorthi almost shouted.

"Sir I..."Lakshya is still in shock. He stuttered.
"I wanted her to be always safe. But now I knows that no one on this earth can provide the safety that I want for her except you. I am giving her to the right hands and she will be safe and happy with you." Sooryamoorthi's declared making him surprise and happy.

"Go...go and bring her back." Sooryamoorthi added and Lakshya didn't wait for another second before rushing out.

To get her, to get his love back. To give her everything that she wanted from him.
