Samskriti couldn't sleep that night. She was constantly thinking about the person who saved her. She wanted to know whether he is ok. But she don't know anything about him. Only she knows is his name. Lakshya. She muttered it in her mind several times. She prayed for him.

"Samskriti.."she turned to the side where she heard that voice and saw her elder sister Shivani standing with smile. She didnt have the mood to smile back.

"Your dad and Anna got the information about the man who saved you. They were searching from morning." Her sister broke the news and she became excited.

"Tell me tell me...Pls..who is he?" She rushed to Shivani and already dragged her to the bed taking a position next to her.

"Why are you interested?" Her sister gave a teasing look.
"You should have there to watch him beating that Prabhakar. I swear you would have clapped seeing it." She said exactly knowing about how to make her sister happy.

"There is no wonder why he could defeat the men of Vinayak. He is a goon.."Shivani said making Samskriti shocked.

"Goon???" She didnt expect it.
"Yes. He will do anything for money. One of the most wanted criminal of the town." Shivani said
"And his family?" Samskriti asked little surprised.
"No one knows. He is an orphan." She got the reply.

She felt sad.
"Appa and Mama are calling you.."Shivani said.
"You go. I will come." Samskriti said and her sister left.

She washed her face and went to the hall to face her father and Mama. She saw them talking to each other along with Sreeram.

Her father, Sooryamoorthi is the most important person for her in this world. He is living only for his daughters after his wife's death. He is a don who is kind hearted and simple. A lot of people respects him for the reason he will do anything for helping common people. He is earning illegal money. But it is all spending for poor people and their needs. Samskriti respects him for that. But she don't like him doing illegal business and fighting. She knows well that her father will kill anyone who hurts people. She hates violence. There is a reason why she hates it. She was only 5 year old when her mom gets shot infront of her and died on the spot. She hates all after that. Her mom is killed by her Appa's enemy Vinayak Devarayar who is also a don. But unlike her Appa he is a money minded person and will do anything to make money. When people suffered because of him, her Appa made his all men arrest. And to take revenge he killed her mom. She won't forget that incident in her entire life. Some night she woke up from sleep thinking about her mom's lifeless body laying in a pool of blood infront of her. She dont want to loose anyone more in her life. Her Appa killed Vinayak's wife to take revenge of his wife's death. That increased their enmity. Vinayak and his son Prabhakar won't miss any chance to attack her Appa and family. But always her Appa, mama and Anna protects her from all harm. It was Prabhakar who tried to harass her in public when Lakshya saved her.

Unlike her, her elder sister Shivani is very bold and revenge minded. She always support her father. She wants Vinayak and Prabhakar to be killed who ended her mother. Samskriti's mama, her mom's brother Veera Ayyer is a fun loving man. He is her biggest comfort in this house. She loves to spend time with him. He used to say jokes to make her laugh. His wife is dead. Sreeram is his son who is a brother for Samskriti. He is also following Sooryamoorthi's path to finish Vinayak and Prabhakar. He loves Shivani and their relationship is already accepted by the entire family. Samskriti is the one who is most happy to see her sister's marriage with Sreeram. But it didn't happen till now because of all these fights and various other reasons. Another reason why she hates this life. Eventhough she hates their activities, her love for them is unconditional and unlimited.

"Angel. Why are you standing there? Come sweetheart..." Her Appa saw her and invited.
She immediately ran towards him and hugged him.
"Are you ok? Dont worry. Nothing will happen to you until we are here." Her Appa promised her.
She smiled in between tears.
"You are the light of our home. Dont cry angel."her Mama also joined in consoling her. She hugged him too and pinched him making him chuckle.

"Why are you both worrying for her? See..she is perfectly ok. She is our strong girl. " Sreeram said.
"Sorry dear. He tried to attack you because of us. We are extremely sorry for that. If something would have happened to you, it will be more like my death." Her Appa said with tears. She dont like him crying for anything.
"What's this Appa? I am ok. See... nothing happened to me. Before that someone saved me."she said
"Thank God. He might have sent by God to save you." Her Mama said.

She smiled at that statement.
"I can't bear him anymore on this earth. Today his son again came to play with us. That too with my life. Finish him and his son." Sooryamoorthi ordered.

Before he complete Sreeram already took the sword and other weapons. A group of people got ready with their weapons. Samskriti and Veera scared.

"Where are you going at this night Sree Anna?" She blocked him.
"I won't leave him. How dare he insult you? I will chop his head today."Sreeram told.

She knows that there is no use in talking with him. Only one person can stop him now. She moved towards her Appa and held his hand.

"Pls Appa..Ask him to stop. Why are we again creating problems? How many more blood we should see in this war? First I lost my mom, then aunty. Should I see everyone dying infront of me? It's better to kill me first than seeing it."

"Samskriti." Both Sooryamoorthi and Sreeram yelled.

"I am saying truth only. I can't bear anymore. If you again go for revenge, he won't stop his torture. And it will continue." She said

"Samskriti is right. She is alright. Pls spare him for one last time." Veera said.

Sooryamoorthi can handle anything on this world except his daughters' tears. He gestured Sreeram and with that he threw the weapons away. She sighed in relief. She kissed her Appa's cheek.
"Thank you Appa."

"I will forgive him one more time. Only because my angel requested. But I want to meet the man who saved her life." Sooryamoorthi declared.
"For what?" It was her who was more confused.
"Angel.. you go and sleep now. You are tired. Dont you have your dance class tomorrow?" Sooryamoorthi asked and she nodded.

She realized that her time is over now. She walked away to her room without questioning further.

Sleep was far away from Lakshya too. His mind is still filled with her pleading eyes and thanking look. He is playing with her shawl. The wound was not deep and he got a discharge from hospital. He is brought back to home along with his friends. Eventhough he tried his best, he couldn't forget her face from his mind. It's like her face tattooed on his mind. He don't know what connection he is feeling with her. But still she seems to be special for him. He tried to find answer to the question why did he save her when he didn't feel to help anyone before. He was only meant for killing and hurting. And today he saved an unknown girl. It still feels strange for him.

"Lakshya...didnt you sleep?" Guna and Vinay came towards him.
He shook his head.
"Did you take your medicines?" Vinay asked.
"I don't want any medicine. No medicine can cure the devil in me." He said loudly.
As it was expected reply, both his friends didnt bother.

"Wait. Isn't it that girl's shawl?" Guna asked seeing the shawl in his hand.
He didn't reply.
"What are you doing with it?" Vinay asked confusingly.
They got the same response from him.

"What happened to you? Why did you injure yourself to save her?" Guna asked sighing.
"I was about to ask it. Till now you haven't done anything for others without any benefit. And today you wasted your precious time for an unknown girl. I can't believe this." Vinay said.
"And most importantly now devil is playing with her shawl like a 4 year old kid." Guna said funnily.
"Threw it away man." Vinay was about to snatch it from him, when he pushed his hand back.

"Can't you both go and sleep?"Lakshya shouted.

Vinay and Guna stood up and went away detecting his anger. They are very well aware about the damage that can be caused by his bad mood and anger. So they quickly escaped.
"Who is that girl?" Before leaving Vinay asked to Guna.
Lakshya turned his face hearing it. But no one knows anything about her.
He layed down on floor with that shawl covering his body. He felt comfort in it unlike the sleepless nights he had. Soon he fell into a deep slumber.

Another Place : Same Night

Vinayak Devarayar sat on his couch like a king with people around him on both sides. Opposite to him, his son Prabhakar sat opening the bottle. He poured whisky on to his bottle and emptied it into his mouth without even mixing water. Vinayak glared at his son seeing his action.

"What are you up to?"he asked angrily.
"I missed her today too." Prabhakar angrily threw the glass away.
"Hey dont behave mad. If you have missed her, it's strictly your inefficiency." Vinayak scolded.

That made him more angry. He emptied another glass of whisky to his mouth. Vinayak took the bottle and kept it away from his son.

"What's wrong with you son?"

"It was all because of him I lost her again. Otherwise I would have made her mine today." He shouted.

"Love????"Vinayak asked.
"To that dog's daughter? I just want her for one day. She is so beautiful. She gifted me so many sleepless nights already. Dont I need to compensate for that?" Prabhakar said raising her eyebrows.

Both father and son laughed evily.
"Dont worry. We will get a chance soon." Vinayak said making him surprise.

"Tomorrow every men in that family will be finished. I had arranged for that. After that you will get what you wants." Vinayak said and again the duo bursted into an evil laugh.

Next Morning

Lakshya was still sleeping on the same place on same position. He groaned hearing his friends calling him loudly. They don't have courage to shake him since they can't predict what devil will do when his body is hurt.

"What's there? Dont shout." He gave a weak attempt to wake up from sleep.
But that didn't work.

"Arey get up Lakshya. Someone came to see you. It's urgent." Guna told

"Whoever it is ask him to wait." He replied.
"Arey he is one of the Don. Sooryamoorthi sir." The name made him shock. He quickly got up and stood up. He heard about him a lot. Secretly he is a fan of his activities.

"Why he is here?" He asked to his friends.
"Dont know. He said that he wants to meet you." Vinay said.

He quickly washed his face and went to courtyard where Sooryamoorthi is waiting for him along with Sreeram and his men.

"Welcome sir."he wished.
"Hai Lakshya..sorry devil. I am.."Sooryamoorthi couldn't complete.
"I know."he interrupted.
"Hai. I am Sreeram." Sreeram shook hands with him.
"These are my friends." Lakshya pointed to his friends who are standing at a distance.
"We already met." Sreeram said.

"I know only to talk things straight. There is only one purpose behind our visit here today." Sooryamoorthi said.

"What's it?"
"I want to hire you."

It was a shock for the three men army.
"Me???" He asked confusingly.
"Yes. I liked Lakshya and the devil in you. If you come with me, I will give you whatever amount you wants. Money is not a matter for me. " Sooryamoorthi added.

"But I heard that you have more strong and wise men with you. Then why me?" He asked his doubt.

"Haha. I like people who ask questions directly. Good." He got another compliment.

"The girl you saved yesterday, it's his daughter. Samskriti Sooryamoorthi." Sreeram said making him wonder. He didn't expect it.

"I have strong and courageous men with me. But I heard about you and liked you very much. You have established yourself as Devil. I like independent people. Not because you saved my daughter who is my life. But I value your sincerity most. I heard about your adventurous journey. The most trustable goon. Great. Won't betray clients for anything. Good. I need you." Sooryamoorthi stated.

He was confused and looked at his friends. They gestured him to say ok. But still his mind didnt accept.

"I can't" he stated

Both Sooryamoorthi and Sreeram looked at each other in an unbelievable look.

"Why should I become a slave for you? What commitment I share with you? I am not a sheep waiting to prodded by my shepherd. I am a lion in my own kingdom."He said proudly.

Sooryamoorthi got impressed.

"Better don't waste time for me."he turned back to leave when stopped by Sreeram.

"Dont block devil's way. It would create danger for you."he warned pushing him away.

"Great Devil." Sooryamoorthi started clapping making all of them surprise.
"I am not here to call you as my slave. Instead I am here to help you create your own kingdom." Sooryamoorthi's words made him wonder.

"How?"
"To prove strength and courage, I have a lot of men with me. I don't want another one to add to that gang.
I need you for protection."

"Protection??"
"Yes. I hope you can guess that there are a lot of enemies for me. I want someone like you to protect me and my family from them. Like they targeted my daughter yesterday, I don't want it to repeat."

Lakshya thought for a moment.
"There is no need of so much thinking. I am inviting you as a leader. You can control all my men. Even if you want you can control me too for protection. Being a bodyguard for my family, I don't think it's a bad job. And you can ask anything you want in return. Usually I don't put price tag for a life. For saving lives you can decide your own charge."

Sooryamoorthi smirked hoping for a positive response.
"Think well before losing a golden chance" Sreeram touched his shoulder.
"Come uncle. Lets go" he was about to leave along with Sooryamoorthi when they heard voice from back.

"It's an yes from me."
They saw Lakshya standing in full confidence with his two friends on both sides of him.
"Then you can start your duty from now onwards." Sooryamoorthi said smiling.
