A few days later:

Gradually Lakshya started recovering. Now he can walk without anyone's help. His wound didn't recover completely. But the pain is less comparing to the initial days. He is ok with it. Sooryamoorthi and his family took good care of Lakshya and his friends. They liked the atmosphere and people well.

After that day Lakshya started avoiding Samskriti eventhough she tried to initiate a conversation few times. He didn't want to get diverted and so he purposefully don't let her come in his way. She felt bad for his cold treatment.

It's the first Friday of the month. Her family have to do prayers in the temple on first Friday of every month and all the family members including Sooryamoorthi's men went to temple. Lakshya didn't go since he is not believing in God and all this rituals. But his friends went only to have sweets and prasadam (Kind of food getting from temple after finishing the prayers). Samskriti couldn't go with her family since she have to attend her dance class.

She got ready for her class and before going she decided to ask Lakshya if anything he wants. His room is upstairs. So she climbed the stairs and reached his room. He was hearing music with headset. She understood that this is a good chance to talk with him.

She coughed to gain attention. He saw her standing at door with her signature smile. He felt irritated. He stood up and opened the wardrobe. He took his dress and was about to enter washroom when she held his wrist and stopped him.

"What do you want?"he asked angrily.
"Where are you going?"she asked
"To bathe"he replied.
"How many times would you bathe in a day? I have seen you going to bathe before one hour ago too."she said making him feel awkward.
"It's ok. Dont need to find excuses to avoid me. Because I stopped advising people. No one obeys me. Everyone focuses on their revenge only. No one cares for me. If my mom was alive atleast she would have care for me" she complained. Her face changed and she became sad.

He wanted to say that everyone loves her and they all wants her to be safe more than anything else. But he couldn't.

"I got attached to you because you saved my life. That's why I wanted you to be safe. But you are not different. Everyone is same. I don't know why I born in between these blood loving people"she said frustrated.

He have a slight smile now on his lips. He hided it before she catches him.

"Ok I am going to my dance class. Do you want anything?"she asked seriously.
He shook his head.
"Hey man. You can ask me anything. You don't need to descend the stairs always. That's why I am asking."she said.
"I don't want anything."he said sternly.

She looked around.
"There is no water here. Do you want me to bring water for you?"she asked.
"Can't you understand what I am saying? How many times should I say that I don't want anything. You go."he became angry.
"Devil only drinks blood I think."she said and left his room.

She came downstairs and took her bag. She was about to go out when the calling bell rang. She opened the door and a shock on her face. The person whom she didn't expect here at this time. No. The man whom she dont want to see ever in her life. She was scared.

"Hai beautiful."Prabhakar said with a smirk.
"Why are you here?"she asked trying to gain courage.
"To meet you."he laughed.

She glared at him.
"Go outside. I will call Appa."she said in a threatening voice.
"Dont act babe. I know that no one is here. Do you think that I am a fool?"he smirked evily.

She sensed danger. She tried to close the door when he pushed her inside. He entered inside and following him a group of men came inside the house. Only then she realized that he is not alone. She cursed her decision to go for dance class instead of prayers.  She is afraid. He asked his men to close the door. One of them did it. She started shivering in fear. He tried to come closer to her. She took a step back.

"Dont come near to me."she shouted.
"Dont say that beautiful. It hurts. Do you know how much I waited for this day? Now I can't wait anymore. Your beauty is making me mad babe"he said coming more close to her.

She moved back until her back touched the wall. Now there is no way for her to move since Prabhakar   caged her by placing his both hands on her sides. His men started laughing.

"Dont touch me pls."she cried when he came close to her and started inhaling her smell leaning to her hair. She tried to push him away with all her strength. But it didn't affect him. He was about to kiss her when someone pulled him back holding his collar. Before seeing the person infront of him clearly, a punch on his stomach made him yell. And with a kick on his lower part, he fell down on floor.

Samskriti sighed in relief seeing Lakshya handling Prabhakar. He held her hand and she hided behind his strong body. She rested her head on his back and the fear didnt went away from her completely. She was breathing heavily.

"Dont worry. No one will touch you. I am here."he said without turning back to face her. But his voice gave her all assurance.
"Thank you"she said.

Prabhakar wiped his eyes and saw the same man who once saved her from him. He gritted his teeth.
"Kill him" he ordered the men with him.

Lakshya smirked. Before they reach him, he made Samskriti sat on a chair.
"Rest here. Dont worry."he said and then moved towards the gang. He beated all of them. Samskriti was sitting there with prayers. Someone try to stab him with knife from back.

"Laksh..."she made him alert.
He turned and took that knife. He pierced it on his arms. She turned her face away seeing blood oozing out from that man's body.

Prabhakar again came to her. But before he could reach her, Lakshya threw a stick aiming his legs. He fell down screaming.

That's when they heard sound of vehicles. She sighed in relief. Without turning back, Prabhakar ran away through the back side of her house leaving his men as prey for Lakshya. Sreeram and Veera entered inside first, followed by the others. Sooryamoorthi stunned seeing Lakshya fighting with people. He understood that it's Prabhakar's army.

Without wasting a second, Sreeram joined the fight. Sooryamoorthi ordered his men to defeat them. Samskriti ran towards her father and hugged him.

"Angel, anything happened to you?"her Appa asked.
"No. Before that he saved me. That Prabhakar.."she cried.
Shivani and Veera were also worried seeing her state.

Within a few minutes, Lakshya and others defeated Prabhakar's people. Sooryamoorthi hugged Lakshya thankfully.
"Thank you. You didn't save my daughter only. You saved my life too."he said happily.
Samskriti too smiled at him.
"It's my duty sir"he replied.
Only duty? That made her little sad.

"Are you ok?"Shivani asked him.
"Perfectly"he replied showing himself.

"Lakshya. Go and take rest. Shivani, bring him something to drink."Sreeram said.
Shivani nodded smilingly and went to kitchen.

"Sree. Come with me. We have some job to finish." Sooryamoorthi ordered which made Samskriti alert.
She came infront of her Appa who got ready with his pistol.
"Appa. Where are you going?"she asked.
"He got the audacity to come to my house and insult my daughter. He is a burden to this earth. It's my duty to remove it." He said determinantly.
"Appa. Pls don't. "She requested.

Sreeram held her hand and dragged her away from the way. She started crying.

Sooryamoorthi and Sreeram were about to go when Lakshya called them from back.
"Sir. I have a request. Dont go now."he said making them shock.
"Why are you saying this Lakshya?"Sreeram asked.

"Because there is no use even if you go now. He is a coward. He might be hiding somewhere now expecting a counter attack from us. His father must be also. It's better we wait till we get both of them together in our hands." Lakshya said which makes some sense.

"Yeah. I was about to say that. How similarly we are thinking Mr.Devil?" Veera asked hitting Lakshya's shoulder.

Sooryamoorthi looked at Sreeram and he nodded back.
"You are right" Sooryamoorthi said leaving his idea.

Samskriti sighed in relief.
"Lakshya. You go to your room and take some rest. What about the wound? Do you want me to call the doctor?" Sreeram asked friendly.

"It's ok. No need of any doctor." He replied.
Lakshya was taken to the room with the help of his friends. Samskriti looked at him walking away. She expected him to turn back once. But nothing like that happened. She was disappointed.

At Night

Samskriti slowly opened the door of his room and entered. She was stunned seeing him shirtless on bed. He jumped up from bed seeing her unexpectedly.

"Why are you here? Dont you know to knock before entering into a man's room?"he asked while trying to take his shirt from the hanger.

"Why should I knock for entering my room? This is my house and I can go anywhere anytime. Understand?"she said taking the shirt before his hand reaches.

He was shocked seeing her taking his shirt. He became irritated.
"Vinay, Guna.. where are you idiots?"he shouted.
"Dont shout. They won't hear. They are currently busy with Mama's adventurous story. He won't leave them anytime soon."she giggled.

"Give my shirt."he glared at her.
"The devil whom everyone scares, now scaring infront of a girl?? Shame." She chuckled.

"What do you want? Are you giving my shirt back or should I call your Appa?"he asked in a threatening way.

"Relax. Why to disturb them? I am here to just check your wound. I know you might be hurt while fighting."she said and he became calm.

"I may be hurt or not. Why do you care? Dont try to interfere into my matters."he said seriously. She became sad. He noticed it.

"I am sorry."she said.
"Dont be sorry. I am just a bodyguard here...Dont say sorry to me."he said.
"You are not a bodyguard or Devil for me. I don't know what others are seeing you as. But for me, you are a human being just like us."she said and he was surprised.

He wondered whether anyone saw him as a human till now. For everyone he was a devil who can kill anyone. Everyone considered him as an animal who possess no humanity. And for the first time a girl is saying he is human like all.

He was busy in thoughts when he didn't notice her next movement. She came to him and touched his wound. He became shocked seeing her closer with her hand on his chest. The wound was just above his heart and his heart stopped for a moment. Her touch gave peace to his heart and he didnt want to lose this feeling.

"Is this feels ok now?"she asked.
He nodded lost in her eyes.
"Are you feeling anything else?"she asked with a naughty smile.
Thats when he understood what she is doing to him. He can't let that happen.

He trickly held her hand and turned her back holding her waist. She was surprised and she didn't understand. When she was standing there stunned, he took the shirt from her hands. With that he left her. She rolled her eyes at him. He winked.

He wore his shirt when she was standing there with her hands on her hip.

"Cheater."she called
"Devil."he corrected.
"Laksh."she said and he looked at her in wonder.

"Why are you calling me Laksh? No one calls me like that."he said
"Then I will only call you Laksh hereafter." She said.

"No. Dont try to come close with me. Its dangerous. You are a good girl. Dont do."he warned.
"You are also good Laksh when you leaves all this activities and starts a new life. Believe me. You deserves it."she smiled making him wonder. It took a minute for him to process her words.

He smirked.
"What do you know about me?"he asked.
"I don't know anything. But knows one thing for sure. The person who saved my dignity twice, who saved my Appa from death can also save himself."she said and he glared at her.

"You are mistaken. First time when I saved you, it was just the thought of a moment. When I saved your Appa and you again, it was all for money. You are my duty and I am doing it. That's all."he said more to himself.

"I don't believe you. You are trying to make you believe this lie. You still have a chance Laksh. I will help you for that."she said and the next second he is infront of her with rage in his eyes. She has been pinned to the wall with his face leaned towards her.

"Can't you understand? Dont waste your time for me. Stay away from me. It will only cause you danger. Go away." He shouted at the top of his voice.

"Dont shout."she warned.

"Is it necessary that every goon must shout at maximum volume?"she asked innocently. He sighed.

"Get out."he left her from his hold.
She pouted.
"How can you get out me from my room?"she asked.
"Ok then you stay. I will go out."
He was about to go out when she held his wrist to stop him.
"Do you know how beautiful life is? Why can't you just give a try?" She asked.
"If you are stubborn to change everyone, first of all go and ask this to your father and brother. If they do, I will do too."he said.
"I am sure one day they will definitely change. And you too."she said confidently.

He smirked.
"Dont look at me like that. I am saying truth."she said.

He went to his wardrobe and took out her shawl from it. She wondered seeing it. When she was drooling over him, he placed it on her hand. She pouted.
"If you want, keep it with you. May be you will have a second thought seeing it."she said and he glared at her.
"Dont scare me. I am just talking about a possibility."she added.

"Get out." He shouted.
She was going out when her leg hitted on the chair and she slipped. She was about to fall down, when he caught her waist and support her. She looked at his eyes.

"First time you saved me because of the sudden thought, then for money. And now for what?" She raised her eye brows naughtily.
He understood what she is intending. Next moment he left her and she fell down on floor.
"Ahhh.."she screamed.
"Get out before you see the real devil in me" he yelled.

She stood up with much difficulty and started walking. She was coming outside and his friends saw her walking style.
"What happened?"Guna asked.
"See what your friend did to me. No wonder why he is devil."she complained and left.

His friends saw him wandering in the room.
"What have you done with that girl? If her father know this, he will cut you into pieces. Have you seen his pistol?" Guna asked

"What are you blabbering?"Lakshya asked
"No wonder. First saving her and a sudden transition from devil to hero. Then being a bodyguard for her family. I already guessed that this will end up like this only."Vinay said teasing him.
"Idiots. Only I know how I get rid of one idiot just a few moments ago. Now another two." Saying it he walked out of the room angrily. His friends looked at him with opened mouth.
