"You made me went through a lot even after knowing that I was not so strong. But you showed some mercy too to me. You gave me support from all sides to survive the most difficult days of my life. In form of my family, the people who loved me the most; my Appa and Mama who even gave their lives to gift the most wanted peaceful lives to their children, my Akka and Anna who had been with me throughout my worst phase, friend like brothers; Guna and Vinay and above all the man who owns each and every bit of love inside me, the person who can go to any extent for my happiness, my Laksh. Thank you God. I can't ask for more in this life. You made me complete with the new bit of hope in our lives."

Samskriti opened her eyes feeling an hand wiping away her tears. She looked at to see the Shiva idle infront of her where she was praying till now. And then at the person standing next to her.

"Akka"she said while pulling the cheeks of the little one in her sister's hand.
"My cute baby is coming to temple for the first time. How is it my dear?"Samskriti was about to take the 3 month old baby from Shivani's arms when her sister stopped her.

"Samskriti, Didn't I warn you to not take the baby anymore? You are on your 9th month dear. Doctor adviced you to not take weights. Didn't he?"

"Your son is mine too. And he is a little champ with no weight. Why can't I take him?"she whined.

"Whatever it is, you can take him after getting permission from your beloved husband who is now waiting for you at our home. If he allows, then no protest from my side."Shivani said making her pout.

She thought about the orders her devil had given her before going out to temple along with her sister and her baby. Her face suddenly fell down and Shivani laughed seeing that. The little one made a sound hearing his mom laughing loudly.

"Let's go back."she held her sister's hand and walked outside to reach the car parked on the path with Vinay and Guna on each side guarding it.

"Our body guards are here."Shivani chuckled.
"But these body guards are still angry at god for no reason. Even your boss Laksh had started visiting temples now a days." Samskriti commented.

"When I marry a girl like you and if she really have that divine power of changing me to suddenly love gods, then let's do that time. I wont hesitate to come and pray inside."Guna said funnily.
"Same opinion here too." Vinay said.

"There is no use in talking with these two." Samskriti entered into the car followed by Shivani. Vinay had already taken the baby from her arms. They drove the car to their home.

"Are you sure about this? I don't think 5 glasses of water is needed."Sreeram said looking at Lakshya who is now biting his nails with a glass in his hand.

"Dont divert my concentration now. You are the one who came up with this idea and you didn't stop me when I poured those 5 glasses of water into this rice flour." Laksh groaned.

"But don't you think that this became very sticky?"Sreeram took some flour in his fist and showed it.

"May be it will take some time for settling." Laksh said still doubtful.
"Whatever it is I hope we can complete our task before the ladies return back from temple."Sreeram said.

"You are the reason. I told you to not send the maids for leave. We should have ask advices from them."Laksh glared.

"Then our wives will say that they are the one who prepared breakfast for them and won't accept our involvement."Sreeram frowned.
Laksh nodded.

They started waiting infront of the rice flour. But nothing like they wants happened. The rice flour didn't change from its state. Both had a sad and frustrated expression on their face.

"Hey dear flour, why are you doing this to us? Whenever the ladies touch you, you suddenly obey what they wants. But behaving cruel to this two poor husbands who thought of surprising their wives. This is not acceptable." Sreeram almost yelled.

"What's going on here?"they were shocked to hear the voice and turned back to see both Samskriti and Shivani looking at them with a surprised face.

But certainly this is not the surprise they wanted to give their wives. Gradually the surprise changed into a glare seeing the state of their dear kitchen. Everything has been messed up here and there making it hard for them to realize their kitchen which they left with them while going to temple. Sreeram and Lakshya had flour traces on their whole body. More than the share in the plate, most of the flour is on their faces.

Shivani stood with her hands on her hip. Samskriti couldn't come out of the shock till now.

"May I know what you are doing here after sending the maids away?"Shivani asked with a frown.

"That...we thought of surprising you both by preparing breakfast with our hands today." Sreeram said with a pale face.

Shivani and Samskriti were shocked.
"The whole idea belongs to your husband Shivani. I have no share in this." Laksh said seeing the glare Samskriti is sending him.

"What were you about to prepare?"Shivani asked.
"Chapati."both said together.

"Are you serious? You took rice flour for making chapatis?" Samskriti opened her mouth widely.
"You could have ask us instead of wasting all this flour on your body."she added.

"And can anyone explain why did you take these sugar, pepper and even chilly powder bottles just to make some chapatis?"Shivani shouted while taking a look at the kitchen slab. She sighed.

"Did you guys plan to kill us?"Samskriti stood with her arms across her chest.

"Oh god. See the condition of my poor kitchen. Why couldn't you guys just destroy the building entirely instead of torturing our dear kitchen like this?"Shivani asked with a sad face.

"Think about me. What would I eat now? I am damn hungry and baby is starving too." Samskriti caressed her big baby bump while spending murderous glares at the men.

Lakshya had a pale face and he immediately rushed towards his wife.
"Samskriti. We are really sorry. Wait for a while. I will ask Guna to buy something for you" Laksh was worried.

"Are you serious Laksh? You are the one who keep on saying that only homely meals is good for your baby. And now?" Shivani scolded him.
"Ok just wait for 10 minutes. I will prepare something for her."Shivani agreed making everyone relax.

"Thank God " Sreeram sighed in relief.

"Mr. Husband and Mr.Brother in law....are you both trying to escape after doing all this? Sreeram, start cleaning the kitchen from one side. A special gift for you since the idea belongs to you completely."Shivani said with a smirk.

"I think it's time to go to factory. Samskriti, what about moving to our room?" Laksh asked looking at his wife who shook her head making him disappoint.

"How can you escape so easily Laksh? I will give you milk bottle to feed my son. Do it. After all you are his dear uncle. "Shivani said making him pout. Samskriti chuckled while Sreeram smiled mischievously.

"Yes, partners in crime means partners when coming to punishment too." Sreeram announced.

Laksh thanked him for his idea of surprising the ladies. And then they went ahead with the jobs alloted to them. On the middle of that Samskriti sat with a bottle of pickle in her hands.

Samskriti opened the large window of her room and closed her eyes feeling the cold breeze from outside. She stretched her hands while taking a look at the large banyan tree standing with all its pride. Unknowingly a smile crept across her face. The full moon is shining on the sky making her face brighten. And then she giggled feeling two arms wrapping across her waist.

"Laksh..."she whispered feeling his head leaning on her shoulder while his hands caressing her baby bump.

"When will you come out baby? Can't wait to carry you in my arms."he said kissing her neck. She felt ticklish.

"Laksh, your hairs are still wet. Didn't you dry it properly? You will get cold. Let me help you." She slapped his arms to escape from his grip but he tightened his arms around her.

"No way dear. You can't escape from your devil. Stay like this."he kissed her earlobe.

"You are absolutely mad."she said making him chuckle and then she screamed loudly.

"What? What happened Samskriti?"he became worried and took her face into his arms.

"Little devil is kicking me for calling his dad mad."she giggled while he glared at her. She stared at him confusingly and he still have a serious face.

"What did you say? His??? My baby is a beautiful girl like my wife. Not a boy like you."

She widened her eyes.
"How can you decide when I am the one carrying the baby?" She pouted.

"Why not? I am the father. And if you want a boy, I can give you another chance. Let our first child come out first. After that we can think about a boy."he said stubbornly and she smacked his head. He winked at her making her go red.

"Laksh, you are impossible."

He again chuckled and knelt down infront of her. He placed his hands on her belly and kissed her big baby bump.

"Ahhh...see your baby is attacking me. When I see you for the first time you were kicking that Prabhakar. Your baby also inherited that from you."she complained.

He couldn't stop laughing. He stood up and pulled her closer to his chest while kissing her forehead.

"Why are you so cute?"he asked and she blushed making him crazy. She hugged him and he patted her back.

"I think it's time for my both babies to sleep. Come I will drop you on bed."he said while picking her up on his arms.

"Dont you think I became very fat and ugly?"she asked with her hands wrapped across his neck. He safely placed her on bed and sat beside her facing her.

"You are fat only because you are carrying my baby. And if you want me to be honest, you were ugly when I was marrying you too. So no problem."

She narrowed her eyes at him and he struggled harder to hide his smile.

"Laksh...you are very bad. You were bad when I see you for the first time. Still you are that same bad Laksh. You are..."she was about to hit him when he stopped her hands and sealed his lips with her. She was shocked and then smiled. He pulled back to see her red cheeks.

"You are the most beautiful girl I have ever met in my life. You were beautiful when I see you for the first time even with that scared face. You were beautiful when I made you mine. Not only a beautiful face, but the most beautiful heart enough to marry a devil like me and change me. You will be always beautiful in my heart my dear devil's girl."he kissed her forehead and she smiled.

"Now let's sleep. Enough of this noise. My baby needs a good sleep."he made her lay down on bed and covered her with the quilt. He then entered into the quilt occupying his place beside her. She rested her head on his heart without hurting the baby and he wrapped his arms across her waist.

Laksh opened his eyes with a shock hearing the scream of Samskriti. He jumped up from bed and switched on the lights within a fraction of second. He turned to see a panicked Samskriti beside him. She is yelling in pain with her hands tightened around her belly. He took her into his arms and made her rest her head on his lap.

"Laksh..I am dying. I can't.. breathe..."she screamed at the top of her voice.
"Nothing. Nothing will happen to you dear.. Believe me."he kissed her forehead while dialling a number in his phone. He knows that there is not even a single minute to waste.

"Sreeram...get the car ready. Samskriti is in pain."he shouted.

She opened her eyes with great difficulty. She tried to move but felt pain in her abdomen. When she was trying to sit, a hand stopped her.

"Dont move if you feel pain. Take rest."A nurse in her uniform told her. She looked around confusingly and then stared back at the nurse.

"My baby..."she felt tears in her eyes.

"Dont cry. Your baby is safe in your husband's arms. He is not giving the baby to anyone. Playing with his new born."the nurse had a teasing smile and she felt unlimited happiness around her. She couldn't talk for a while. The nurse went out while she smiled with tears.

And then the door again opened revealing the face of her husband with their little bundle of happiness in his arms wrapped in a soft cotton towel. She felt her breathe stucked on her throat seeing the sight. She wanted to speak but she couldn't. He smiled at her and then sat beside her. She felt all tiredness flying away from her body and sat on bed.

"Samskriti, didn't I say you it's a girl? My beautiful girl."Laksh placed the baby on her lap and she smiled in between tears. He wiped away that tears from her face followed by a long kiss on her forehead. She then took the baby close to her heart and kissed her every feature. The baby circled her palm across her mother's fingers.

"Samskriti, she is just like you. See the same mole you have on your neck. Our daughter too got it. And see her nose, a tiny one but glowing. These pink cheeks reminds me of you when you are blushing. And here look at her legs. What a beauty my daughter is." A proud Laksh said making Samskriti look at her husband without blinking her eyes for a long time. He touched his daughter's nose and then kissed her eyes softly. He then turned to see his wife who is staring at him with a smile.

"Thank you Samskriti. If you hadn't come to my life, I wouldn't have get an opportunity to witness my sweet daughter. If you had gave up on our relationship once, I wouldn't have get this wonderful happy family of mine. I wouldn't have experience this feeling of being a father if you hadn't try to change me. You are my life dear."he kissed her forehead and she leaned on his chest while their hands wrapped around their baby safely.

"You filled my life with peace and in return I filled your life with love. And these two made our life a bliss. Without you there is no meaning for my life Laksh. I love you."she said and he caressed her hairs.

"I love you too my girl"he pecked her lips softly.

The baby made a slight sound diverting her parents' attention towards her.

"We love you too our sweet daughter."they kissed their baby together.
