Chapter XIII: Thursday, Septmer 20th (1/?)

(Just want to say that my mental health took a hit because of this chapter.)

-----

Everett woke up to her phone vibrating. She grumbled but pushed herself up, her arms shaing from

underneath herself. She struggled to go the pushup and just rolled on her back and allowed her hand
to ainsially search for her phone on the bedside table. 'Weak.' "Shut up," she responded to the voice in her head.

With a few pats she found her phone and
grabbed it bringing it over her face. It feel on her face with a thud and she wrinkled her face and
grabbed the phone moving her body sideways so she was laying on her side.

The phone lit up in the dark room, it could only be in the early hours of the morning. "Hillfigure is at Knoll's Casino."

Everett jumped from her bed, the blanket getting flung like some sort of black wave. She stumbled through the dark room until she found the light switch which was by the door way. Flipping it on she placed her phone back on the nightstand and she rushed to the closet.

Her heart rate seemed to jump as she got ready. Was she nervous? She didn't know.

She looked through her dresses. 'What would Henry Hillfigure like?' she wondered. Everett tried to remember what she wore last time but her mind was blanking on her. 'Maybe I should try something red since it symbolizes love.' Everett flipped through a few of her dresses until she found the one she was looking for.

he dress had a long sirt that had a a slit starting at her hip and doing all the way down to the floor. The dress had a long sirt that had a slit starting at her hip and doing all the way down to the floor. It had one long sleeve wimhich was on the opposite side of the slit. Her left arm was bare. The red dress came with a matching red choker.

Everett looked at herself in the mirror. She felt fake and like someone else. She hated flirting with evil men and Hillfigure was around forty years old. That meant their was a twenty year age gap between the two. Everett felt ack just thinking about it, but this was her plan even (if it was delusional) and she was determined to stick to it.

First, she would seduce Henry Hillfigure and get him to come to cathedral in a few days. That's when she realised she didn't plan anything more than that. When would would it be? Tomorrow would be too eaielry. She didn't have enough prep time for that. Saturday could also be cutting it close. Sunday would be busy because of church so Monday it would be.

Monday 24th; six days before Sullivan's wedding. She could do that.

Right?

Everett took her eyes from the mirror and her tattoo that slightly showed on her left side. It was right above her heart and she never knew where she got it. She had it for the longest time. Everett shook her head. 'Stop getting distracted.' She grabbed a small hand purse and quickly got to Knoll's Casino.

***

She walked into the casino. Her black heels clicked against the tile floor disrespecting the attention to her. She had to act confident though she was nervous. Her heartbeat had not gone down since. She spotted Hillfigure at the bar once again. He looked like he was just having a good time this time. Johnny the bartender seemed to not be working tonight—of is it today(?).

Everett sat to the right to him so her dress's slit was right next to him. She put her purse on her lap and waited for the attending bartender to come to her. Hillfigure ended the conversation he was having with the guy right next to him as the green-eyed man left. He turned to his right and finally noticed Everett.

She glanced over to the older man not moving her head but insist moving her eyes. Her perfect posture and lifted chin made her feel like a statue.

He raised an eyebrow then looked down towards her chest. 'What a pervert,' Everett thought to herself not she still did nothing about it but smirk and say, "Like what you see?" She raised her eyebrow mimicking him.

Hillfigure looked into her eyes. His emerald orbs dug into her soul as if undressing her from the façade. They sparkled in some kind of emotion, Everett could only guess which one. "Yes, I do." His eyes once again looked down at her chest, but luckily the bartender came to them.

"What can I get y'all?" he asked both of them.

"She'll have a glass of red wine," he said. 'That's good,' Everett thought. 'He doesn't seem to remember me.'

"And he will have a pomegranate cocktail," she responded with a a smirk. Pomegrantes are known to boose a man's sex drive so it's a good fruit to give someone you are trying to seduce. She wasn't going to her in his plants though. She hated every second of this mission. Something about him sitting made her angry, but she would keep her emotions in check—for the most part.

The bartender gave a knowing glance and all Everett could do was smirk at him. As he walked away to get the drinks ready Hillfigure said, "I always like women who take initiative."

It took all of Everett not to get angry at the man. Instead, she resisted a choke as she whispered in his ear, "Well you have to wait." She slipped a piece of paper into his suit pocket with a double pat. Everett prepared the paper on the way to the casino which had St. Pual's Cathedral's address and the date of September 24th written on it.

She sat up slowly walking away, her hands sliding over his chest and down his arm until it touched it no more. Hillfigure's eyes and head moved to watch her leave.

He stood up and started walking after her. She didn't expect that and started to walk a bit fast, her heels hitting the floor hard and that made them seem very flexible and not secure.

That's when she spotted Kendall. 'Oh no.' Everett spied a hallway to her left and she split into it not thinking of the consequences. She then entered a door and closed her eyes. 'Not now. Why is Kendall here!?'
