Timing

"Alaska go!" Chan yelled.

I ran from the first line and went to the second line back and forth, we were working out 1 week before our showcase. I was dying!

"Chan, why do you want them to work out at this time? It's 11PM." Felix walked up to him with a stern face.

I focused on the lines and managed to finish touching them 24 times, I'm surprised I didn't pass out!

"Alright thats the end. You all can rest." Chan announced before whispering something into Felix's ear.

I sit next to Nina while panting and drinking from my water bottle, Nina was even more exhausted than me and her face was red. She needed a lot more conditioning than me in dance because JYP keeps critiquing her in it.

"You good?" I asked her after setting my water bottle on the floor.

"Nope, I feel completely worn out. Chan literally made me do twice the work everyone else did!" Nina groaned. "Its what I deserve though, I haven't improved."

"You did though!" I reassured her. "You improved so much more, Nina. I looked at the first episode of our survival show and you have definitely improved a lot."

"Really? I don't see it." Nina asked and looked down in the floor. "I just feel like I'm dragging the group back."

"You're not, everyone goes at their own pace." I smiled. "Felix taught me that."

"Ah.." Nina smiled and then frowned. "Must be nice to have someone like him around."

"Yeah." I nodded. "But you have me, even without him I know that you will always be here and I trust you a lot."

"I just.. You two seem so close even before I met you, what if you forget about me?" Nina sighed.

"Oh my- Nina, our friendship will always be my priority especially if we debut together, no boy will change that." I snorted. "Who is going to be there for me when we move in together? When we go on stage or practice together?"

"Of course me, duh." Nina rolled her eyes dramatically.

"Exactly! Thats why we have to stick together, if you ever feel like I'm falling out of line I need you to snap me back into reality." I chuckled. "Now let's go eat lunch."

Nina smiled brightly and helped me up as we walked down the hallway with the other girls and mentors for lunch.

"So, how was practice?" Chan ran up to me and tickled my sides.

"Ah!" I wiggled out of his grasp and bumped into someone. "It was fine- Oh, I'm so sorry!"

The person turned around and to my luck it was Felix!

"I'm wounded." Felix dramatically gasped and leaned on Chan for support.

"Dang it, Felix. Dramatic for no reason." Nina sighed. "And I thought Hyunjin was the biggest drama queen."

"Rude! I am not dramatic! That actually hurt." Felix argued back.

"Coward." I mumbled as I walked away with Nina.

"Did you just- Ya! Alaska you get back here!" Felix started to chase after me as I ran down the halls with Nina.

Again, probably not something that's allowed but no one was here to monitor the hallways.

"Felix get back here!" Chan chased after Felix which made all of us look crazy running after each other.

We finally made it to the cafeteria and I remember the same memories we shared in here... Except that now Yuna wasn't here.

"I miss her too." Nina patted my shoulder as I looked at our table.

I've been kind of avoiding the cafeteria for this reason, I think this was the place we bonded the most compared to dorms where we kind if just did our own thing.

I really miss Yuna.

"Got you!" Felix jumped on me which startled me.

"Ah!" I turn around and punched his arm. "Don't scare me like that!"

"Finee." Felix sighed as he entered the cafeteria and got us trays.

Once we sat down I felt the energy leave my body again, something was missing.

"Hello!" A tray was placed in front of me which was Yuna's old spot.

Mako. Not her again.

"Hi." I mumbled as I looked back at my food and continued eating.

"So... Felix! I was hoping today you could help me with another choreography. Since we need to prepare solo stages with our group stages, I need to learn this new choreography and I want to make sure I learn it right." Mako asked as she faced Felix.

"Actually, you should ask Jisung for help.. You know he's a lot better that you think! He should be able to help you." Felix suggested.

"I know that but I like when we dance together, we dance really well together." Mako replied with a smirk.

"I have to help Alaska with her solo, I promised her I would so please look for Jisung instead." Felix fake smiled and turned to me. "Are you up for 3 hours of dance?"

I smiled widely and nodded my head up and down like a happy puppy, I can't believe he just rejected Mako like that. Not that I was making fun of it... I was just relieved!

When we got back to practicing I could see Mako staring at us intensely. When Felix placed his hands on my body I was afraid other girls would take it the wrong way, we aren't dating! Though, I wish we were... But it's for safety precautions!

After we were done with practice, I stayed behind with Felix as we worked on my solo.

"You want to... Sing?" Felix questioned as he chugged his water bottle.

"Yeah. I think I do." I turn away and face the mirror.

"Hold on." I see Felix lock the door and then stand next to me. "But JYP knows you for rap?"

"I don't know! I just want to do something different, isn't different good?" I asked and turned to him as he placed his hands on my waist.

"Yeah but..." Felix looked at me. "I just don't think you should put that much pressure on yourself. You have one week left and you want to focus on singing? If you had told me weeks ago I probably could've helped you."

"Oh..." I looked down and sighed. "I guess you're right."

"Hey," Felix tapped me lightly which made me look at him. "I'm not saying you can't improve fast but I would rather you not stress yourself out over singing, rapping can still be different. You just have to rap something else and maybe even change your tone."

"I guess.." I nodded and pull away from him. "I'll do I love the way you lie."

"Oh my god! I love that song!" Felix cheered and jumped up and down. "We could totally show off your dance skills during the singing parts!"

"Wait, you're onto something!" I grinned. "Okay, let's create a choreography!"

"You did amazing! You memorized that by heart!" Felix chuckled as he hugged me tightly.

"Woah, Felix we're sweating." I try to push him off but he resisted.

"I don't care, we can always take a shower." Felix smiled and then pulled away with the biggest smile on his face.

"Wanna go on another adventure?" I smirked as I pick up my bag.

"Yes!" Felix jumped and opened the door for us to leave.

I wish I could've turned back time to have never made that decision... Because adventures lead to consequences.
