Request: Hiii, can you do a Peter Parker imagine where the reader and Peter have been broken up for about a month and although he's said multiple times that he's over her, he really isn't. A group project happens and her and Peter are put in the same group, but later on, one of the members of the group flirts with her a ton. Peter can't focus and gets jealous, only to cause a disaster during the presentation. Thx, I'm glad to see that you're back. I missed you!

It was the fourth of March when Peter received the worst news he had ever gotten in his entire life. You were standing at his door, speaking to him about the relationship you two had wasn't going to work out. You had as much tears in your eyes than Peter did. Peter understood your reason, but accepting your reason was what he was having difficulties doing.

Peter never had a problem with remaining friends with you, he thought it was better than you leaving his life for good. The only problem was that as many times as he told people he was fine and he's over you, he never meant it. He knew he was lying to not only everybody he told, but himself as well.

Peter would try to convince himself that he was over you, but whenever he would just look at you, those butterflies and warming sensations would say otherwise. Peter missed you, and he wanted you back more than ever.

Peter entered the classroom, rambling on to Ned about the movie that he saw last night. Yesterday was the day that marked a month ever since you called it off with Peter. He knew that watching a movie would distract him, which was exactly what it did. Peter sat down with Ned, continuing with his amazement about the movie.

An instinct tingled within Peter, feeling as if you were entering the class. Peter's eyes shifted over to the door, and he wasn't wrong. there you were, walking through the door. The thing was, you weren't alone, an unfamiliar person was walking right by your side. Peter had to admit, he wasn't very fond of seeing your with another guy.

Peter sat two rows behind you, which was good through his eyes at the moment because that gave him the advantage to keep his eyes on the unknown guy that was with you. Worries flooded his mind, had he already been replaced? Were you able to move on that fast? Peter couldn't believe was he was seeing.

"Peter, stop with the worrying," ned spoke, slapping his hand on his shoulder. Peter didn't flinch. "(Y/N) is a super sweet girl, maybe this guy is just one of her friends. There's probably nothing going on between them."

Peter ignored Ned's comment and continued to scowl at the mysterious newbie. He was so focused on you and the new kid that he didn't listen to the instructions that the teacher had been giving. You turned around and made eye contact with Peter, causing Peter to immediately turn away and randomly start talking to Ned.

Ned rolled his eyes. "Peter, she turned around because she's going to be in our group project."

"Group project?" peter asked. "Wait, (Y/N)'s in our group?"

Ned nodded and Peter had to contain his excitement. Ned sighed. "Don't get too excited though buddy, the new kid she's with is also in the group."

From that simple sentence, Peter had fallen back into the stage he denied being in, jealousy. Since Peter was now paying attention, he heard the teacher yell to get into the group. Peter snapped his eyes over to you and saw that you and the new kid were now approaching him.

"Try not to turn into beast mode when he gets over here," ned whispered, leaning over toward Peter. "I think you should give him a shot before pouncing on him."

Peter scoffed and told him that he would act just fine. When you arrived with the new guy, you introduced him to Peter and Ned. Peter slapped on his fake smile and gave him a handshake, trying to hold back the jealousy that was boiling up inside of him. After the handshake, you introduced Peter and Ned to him, claiming them to be yours friends. Peter had to admit, that kind of stung.

He was so used to having the word "boy" in front of that friend. The way that Peter was feeling about that was still a clear sign that he wasn't over you. You took the lead of the group and started assigning everybody parts in the group project. Peter wanted to listen, but he just couldn't stop fantasizing about you and him as he stared at your face. Once all the explaining was done, you checked with everyone to see if they understood.

"I don't get why you're speaking through this really fast," the new kid spoke. "I mean, it's not like were presenting at the end of class, are we?"

He chuckled, thinking everyone else to do the same, but received nothing but head shakes.

"Mr. Gardner expects everyone to have our presentation done by the end of the period," you said, sighing softly. "but don't worry, we've got this."

Peter perked up in his seat as he saw you and the new kid walk off elsewhere. He turned to Ned and asked where you and him were going. Ned wanted to smack Peter from the lack of concentration he was having all day.

"Peter, you and I are going to work together to this done," ned said, pointing at a worksheet. "as for (Y/N) and Fred, they're going to go get the items we need and go through the stuff."

Fred. That was his name. It wasn't like Peter cared anyways. If Peter was being honest, he didn't even look like a Fred. He looked more like a Gregory.

"Would you stop finding things to hate about Fred in your mind Peter?" ned asked, surprising Peter. It was as if Ned had read his mind! "That's how well I know you. Now, let's get started."

Ned and Peter started on the paper, and you and Fred finally came back to start working on your part. Throughout the working process, Peter could clearly hear the flirtatious words that Fred was telling you. Peter stopped and just sat there, trying to see how far Fred was going to go with his flirting skills. Ned looked over at Peter and saw that he had stopped writing.

"Peter!" ned hissed at him. "Dude! You need to keep figuring these formulas so we'll know what to say when we present."

"Shhh," peter shushed. "I'm trying to listen to what Fred is saying to (Y/N)."

"Will you quit it Peter? This is more important," ned chastised harshly. "please just finish and than you can get all jealous over (Y/N) later."

Peter sighed in defeat and nodded in agreement. He went back to figuring out the problems and finishing his part up.

"Hello. I am (Y/N)."

"I'm Ned."

"I'm Peter."

"I'm Fred."

You stepped forward with Fred to the table and began to show them the experiment that you two had put together. It involved fire and gasoline, which was something that you told the entire group to be extremely careful about. Peter clasped his hands behind his back and kept his full attention on Fred. Peter's forehead creased as he saw Fred's hand place itself on your lower back as you were showing a visual to the class.

Peter bit his tongue, trying not to lunge at him and tell him to get his hands off your girlfriend, but you weren't his anymore. Peter lowered his eyes, he couldn't take it. He didn't want to see it. When you two had finally finished, it was Peter and Ned's turn. Fred raised his hand for a high five from Peter, but Peter unkindly ignored it. As Ned explained their formulas and such, the adorable giggle that Peter loved traveled through his ears.

Peter tried to stay focused on the presentation, but when your giggling wouldn't stop, he turned around. Peter bit his bottom lip as he saw that Fred's arm was now around you. Peter inhaled deeply and turned back around. He walked around the table and walked up to stand beside Ned in front of the table. Peter dazed off once again as he thought about how Fred had stolen you.

He was so deep in thought, Ned had to nudge Peter really hard. The nudge wasn't the best idea because it startled Peter, causing him to bump the table. The gasoline on the table got knocked down, making you gasp. Peter didn't know what had just happened, so he turned around to see the scene, only to find himself bumping the table again and knocking down the lit candle. The entire classroom erupted in screams as the fire spread along the floor.

Peter threw his hands over his mouth as he watched the flames rise right in front of his eyes. It wasn't long until the sprinklers activated and began to drench all the students. The good thing was that the fire had been put out, but the bad thing was, Peter was the one that caused it. You were the first person that Peter looked for, hoping that you were okay. Although your hair was soaked and all over your face, it wasn't hard for Peter to see your unhappy face expression.

He gulped dryly. "Um, sorry."

You rolled your eyes and walked up to him. It was odd because as he watched you approach him, a smile was spreading across your face. When you had finally reached him, you folded your arms.

"Usual Peter," you teased, watching his hair drip with wetness. "I always knew you were a troublemaker."

Peter stuttered, trying to find the words but couldn't. Instead, you placed a gentle, wet kiss on his cheek, taking Peter by surprise. When you pulled away, Peter wanted to pull you right back in and crash his lips against yours, but it was too late. You were already out the door.

Peter huffed softly. "I miss you (Y/N)."
