CeCe had heard from one of her many sources what Damon had done to Vicki Donovan and that the vampire in transition was at the Gilbert house so she decided to go over and 'check' on the doppelgänger, she needed Elena alive for everything to work according to her plan.

The Heretic walked into the house right behind Stefan and Elena, "what's going on?"

Matt looked at Elena "She's really messed up."

Stefan took control of the situation, "Elena, back up. Vicki, look at me. Focus. You're gonna be fine. Everything's gonna be fine. Guys take her up to bed. Shut the blinds. She's gonna be ok. Come on. Come on." Matt and Jeremy take Vicki upstairs.

Elena looked at Stefan after they disappeared up the stairs "You know what's wrong with her?"

The green-eyed Salvatore nods "Yeah."

"What is it?" Elena questions.

"She's transitioning," Stefan answered.

Elena looks confused "Transitioning to what?"

That was the moment that CeCe decided to make her presence known. "A vampire."

Elena looked at her in surprise "CeCe? What are you doing here?"

The Bennett just smirked at her, "Damon got to her. She's new. She hasn't completed her transition yet."

Stefan looked at her surprised as well "how did you know that?"

The Heretic just grinned at him "I have eyes and ears everywhere Steffy... Something happens I know about it."

Elena looked between the two "H-how does she do that?"

CeCe decided to let Stefan answer the question "She has to feed on human blood."

"And what if she doesn't?"

"She'll die. She may only have a few hours." Stefan tells her.

Elena looked at him wide-eyed "She's upstairs with him right now."

But Stefan shook his head and assured her "It's ok. She doesn't know what's happening to her yet."

"So when is she gonna know?"

"Right now, she doesn't remember anything. A part of her is still human, but slowly, the deeper she gets into the transition, the memories will start to come back, and then she'll know she has to make the choice." Stefan explains to her.

Elena looks at him "The same choice you made?" Then the doppelganger turned her attention to CeCe "what about you?"

CeCe grinned proudly as she answered "witch... I come from a family with a long lineage of witches." While that was true what she said was only partly the truth since she wasn't just a witch, she was a Heretic, but she couldn't tell them that since it would ruin everything.

Vicki freaked out and ran out of the house, Stefan offered to track her which Elena agreed to, and told him to go.

CeCe decided it would be best for her to wait at Elena's with her and Jeremy while Matt and Stefan were out looking for Vicki. A bit later the doorbell rang, and Elena open it to find Damon there, "Jeremy go, upstairs." Jeremy did as his sister and went upstairs, to wait for news about Vicki.

Elena tried to shut the door in Damon's face, but it doesn't work he just pushes it back open. Damon looks at her "You're afraid of me. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess. Stefan finally 'fessed up."

"Stay away from me." Elena snaps at him.

"Hey, there's no need to be rude. I'm just looking for Stefan. May I come in? Oh, wait. Of course, I can. I've been invited. We can cut to the chase if you want. I'm not gonna kill you right now. That wouldn't serve my greater agenda. So... Where's Stefan?"

"He's out looking for Vicki."

Elena is giving him a look Damon rolls his eyes "Don't look at me with those judgey little eyes. Girl's gonna thank me for what I did to her."

"Did you thank Katherine?" Elena questions in a sassy tone.

"Mmm. Got the whole life story, huh?"

"I got enough."

Damon smirks "Oh, I doubt that. Tell my brother I'm looking for him. Oh, tip for later, be careful who you invite into the house."

Then he left and there for a minute CeCe thought that she was gonna have to step in but he didn't try anything so she, didn't and Damon left on his own accord, She looked at the doppelganger "He's right Elena be careful who you invite in... here's the best way to determine instead of saying "Come in" move to the side and motion them in and if they insist on being invited then there you go, vampire."

Elena looked at her "How do you know so much about them?"

"I'm a witch Elena it's my job to know what I'm up against" 'that, and I am part vampire but ehhh she doesn't need to know that part yet.'

After a few more minutes Stefan comes back, Elena looks worried "Stefan you're bleeding"

"No, it's ok. It's ok. I'm ok." Stefan pauses before continuing "I couldn't stop her. I tried."

"What does that mean?" Elena questions.

"She fed, and then I lost her," Stefan explains.

"Oh, my god."

Stefan looks at her "I'll take care of it. I'll find her, and I will show her that she can live as I do. I will make sure that she does not hurt anybody, Elena. I promise you."

CeCe rolled her eyes and walk away from them, she pulled her phone out and called Kaylee, who is one of her favorite minions because she never fails her. "Kaylee"

"Yes, CeCe?"

CeCe then told her what she wanted "find Vicki Donovan and then report back to me... she could put a rather large kink in my plans if she is left on the loose."

"Yes, CeCe I will find her and as soon as I do I will inform you." She informs just like she's compelled to do.

"Thank you, Kaylee, now you haven't failed me yet don't start now."

"Yes, Ma'am." Then CeCe hung up the phone and headed home, to wait for a callback. The call back wasn't until the following morning though. "Am I going to be disappointed, Kaylee?"

CeCe paused to wait on her to answer "No I saw Stefan and Damon taking her to the Boarding house" Kaylee informed and CeCe smiled happily with what she was told.

"Thank you, Kaylee, now, as usual, you will remember nothing once I hang up the phone." Then she hung up the phone and set out for the Boarding House instead of going to school, she walked in and noticed the three of them, Damon, Stefan, and Vicki.

Vicki looks at the boys "I don't understand why I have to stay cooped up here. Why can't I just go home?"

"Because you're changing, Vicki, and it's not something you wanna do alone" Stefan explains to her.

"There's nothin' about that Logan guy I killed in here. Not a word. Someone's covering it up." CeCe decided to keep her mouth shut for now and see what she can find out and if need be she can just compel them all.

Vicki looks at the pocket watch in Damon's hand "What is that?"

"This is a very special, very old compass. What was Logan Fell doing with it? Aren't you curious?" CeCe rolled her eyes 'obviously he's on the council or was before Damon killed him.'

Stefan glares at Damon "Well, if you're so worried that somebody's onto you, why don't you just leave town, Damon?"

"We should all be worried," Damon tells him. Well maybe you should but not me.

Vicki interrupts them "Hey, um, I'm hungry. Do you have anything to eat?"

"Here." the younger Salvatore hands her a cup of animal blood, it made CeCe scrunch up her nose 'ugh I can tell by the smell it smells bad and tastes worse.'

"What is it?" Vicki questions as she takes the cup.

"It's what you're craving."

"Heh. Don't lie to the girl. It's so not what you're craving, but it'll do in a pinch, right, Stef?"

"What is it?" Vicki questions again.

"Yeah, what is it? Is it a skunk? Saint Bernard? Bambi?"

CeCe snorted making her presence known "yeah Steffy it is Thumper?" Vicki looks at her weirdly because she doesn't know about witches yet wondering what the Bennett girl was doing there.

"Go on. Give it a try." Stefan encourages her.

Damon disagrees "She's new. She needs people blood. She can't sustain on that stuff."

"Yeah, why can't I have people blood?"

Damon nods "Yeah."

But boring broody moral Stefan argues "Because it's wrong to prey on innocent people, Vicki."

"You don't have to kill to feed. Just find someone tasty and then erase their memory afterward. It's so easy."

CeCe cut in giving another option "or she could always do blood bags they work just as well but without taking innocent lives," But Stefan rudely ignores her as well.

"No, no, no. There's no guarantee that you can control yourself, okay? It takes years to learn that. You could easily kill somebody, and then you have to carry that with you for the rest of your life, which, if I haven't made it clear, is eternity."

Damon once again disagrees with Steffy "Don't listen to him. He walks on a moral plane way out of our eye line. I say snatch, eat, erase."

"Hey, look at me. We choose our own path. Our values and our actions, they define who we are." Stefan tries again.

Damon rolls his eyes "Okay, Count Deepak. I am outta here."

"Can I have some more?" Vicki asks.

CeCe followed Damon out of the room and stopped him "Look I don't care what you do with little miss druggy in there just as long as she doesn't pose a threat to Elena if she does then I will have to get involved and if I have to get involved things will get messy... because I am not afraid to get my hands dirty." Damon rolled his eyes thinking that she was just threatening him because Elena was her friend.

Oh, but how wrong he was, the threat was because Elena dying would ruin her plans and CeCe couldn't have that. With that, the Heretic walked out the door almost running into Elena who looked at her surprised to see her, and then turned to Damon and asked him about Stefan.
