The hermit goes

The hermit's house has two doors,

One for the arriving kings

Who new kingdoms do explore,

Of wisdom that hermit brings

Second door is hermit's friend,

When king comes close hermit goes

For he explains to no end,

Wisdom's not sniffed with golden nose

The first door is like priest's bed

Who faith and gain binds with rose,

Both avariciously wed,

When priest comes close hermit goes
