"WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH YOUR CUT?" TOM ASKED, SITTING NEXT TO HIM.

RED JUMPED. "I'M NOT SURE."

"YOU'RE NOT SURE?"

"NO."

"WE COULD GO SOMEWHERE" TOM SUGGESTED.

RED LAUGHED, BUT TOM DIDN'T. "YOU AREN'T SERIOUS, ARE YOU?"

"I AM" TOM SAID CONFIDENTLY. RED LAUGHED AGAIN. "I'M SERIOUS, WE COULD LEAVE, NEVER COME BACK."

"WHAT? AND PRETEND NOTHING HAPPENED?" RED ASKED.

TOM FELL SILENT. "I COULD KEEP YOU SAFE."

"IT'S FUNNY YOU SAY THAT BECAUSE YOU'RE THE ONE WHO ALWAYS PUTS ME IN DANGER."

TOM GRABBED HIS HAND, AND KISSED THE TOP OF IT.  "WE CAN GO TO EUROPE, NO ONE WOULD FIND US THERE."

"YOU SOUND RIDICULOUS."

"ENTERTAIN THE IDEA FOR ME THEN."

"NO, I WILL NOT GO ANYWHERE WITH YOU" RED SAID, TAKING BACK HIS HAND. "WE WILL COMPLETE THE JOB AND YOU WILL LEAVE, LIKE YOU PROMISED."

Okay, so I did this in my last graphic book and that was in early 2019, so I'm going to do it again since there is always room for improvement. I will also be dividing these into eras, if you will.

* ALSO: I'm including my favorites of each time period, not all of them. I'm sure if I did this chapter would be too long and surpass the picture limit.

These were my first covers that I have attempted to complete. At the time, covers on Wattpad weren't the most important thing - I'm sure most people just took an image off of tumblr and used it as a cover - so I didn't really care, and it shows.

THE LIGHT FILTER
SUPERIMPOSE (2016 + EARLY 2017)

So, my lack of care for graphics became an interest. Graphics were becoming popular, and at the time, if you could make them, that's what got you followers. And I wanted followers, as most of us do. Overlays and filters were a big thing. I was a person who followed trend, if you will. I never broke out of that box to make something different or make my own trend, I just followed what other people were doing.

So, okay, this was the worst year(s) for me. Back then, there was a lot of drama, and I was in it. I'm not proud, but I've definitely learned my lesson. And looking back at it now, I understand why I did it, because I was a kid who wanted friends.

Anyways, I got Photoshop and I automatically thought it would make me a better designer. I thought suddenly my graphcis were going to be better. Turns out, you need to work for that. I was only known for making graphics, not writing. So I did more of graphic design, even though most of the time, I lost interest.

Okay, so another trend: glow. Adding glow to subjects in your covers was popular (it still is) and of course my need to be the same as everyone else shined. These covers don't necessarily stand out to me and I guess that's what I wanted. I also shortened my name, I was no longer and Kaylee and instead I was Kay.

Also, I started video editing. I don't have any words. Well, I do, I mean it got me really passionate about video editing, but the video itself. I'm shocked.

HAIR: THE PREQUEL

Another trend was hair, and I was very into that and very uneducated on how to do so, so it didn't look that great. I don't even know how to comment on this, I just don't like looking at them.

Okay, I got to give girly some credit, these covers aren't so bad. But as you can easily tell, I had an obsession with making my covers dark and adding the same grain overlay. The 'Why So Serious?' cover is my favorite thing ever, and that won't ever change.

Also, I got the seven day trial for Premiere Pro and made 4 edits in that time period, but Lake and Sam are my favorite, so I chose this one.

I took a break with graphics and returned with the force of bullshitting through life. I really don't care about trends anymore, I kinda just go with what feels right. And I think that is a lesson for 2018 Kay to listen to. I also appreciated the idea of high quality graphics. How fun.

And when I started making graphics again, I started video editing aswell and began to like it a lot more. I'm still not great, but I do enjoy it, so you can't fault me.
