Breaks Just Like Ice |Chapter 3|
D tried to fixed his tie and hair, trying to get his professional look back on.
Honestly his attempt sucked. "Well Justi-... Ice." he paused for a moment to think. "It's almost three thirty, and I better get going, Dave has me on a mission today." Dave was a fairly old man, in his mid 60s-50s with slicked back silver hair and a beard. Nothing to not 'normal'.
It's actually quite annoying when I find grown adults around my age whispering about my hair like five year olds.
As you the reader might have blond, black, or some natural colored hair, unless you've dyed it whacky. I myself was born with a deformity. And so my hair is white.
I still have the memory of a boy named Charles during school making fun of me due to my hair.
Charles had pushed me, causing me to fall to the floor yelling. "Look at this!, Pfft common fight back Justice, just get up!" I was a kid and wouldn't fight back when I had backed into lockers. At the time I saw no point in hurting someone.
Tch. So Innocent. What a sad little boy I was.
I also remember Charles was smiling with his buddys somewhere in the back. Girls had passed by but they were too busy looking at their phones to care and the newest addition to the popular girl's, Isabella, was to shy to do anything she was afraid they would reject her if she tried to help me, she had already been bullied most of her life.
I understand why she didn't want to go back to that. Who would want to go back to that life?
Charles had been walking closer to me pushing me further against the lockers. "Are you really that scared?" he shoved me. "Fight." Charles eyes were full of pure hate, all that hate was towards me... and for what? I still don't understand.
Charles had beaten me till I was black And blue, and to the point that he was getting exhausted and bored with me. Charles bent down as I was now on the floor there all scrunched up like a dried out orange peel. "Now I know why they called you Justice. Because you break, Your Just Ice you'll never be stronger than that ."
Though that day Isabella saved me from Charles, one of our teachers come running towards the lockers causing Charles to get expelled and having to go to another school. I hated my name from that day. I hated it so much and still do.
I am Ice. Nothing will change who I am now.
Justice. Is. Gone. Forever.
