summary

baeron targeryen was born as the youngest of a remarkable trio of triplets, alongside his older sisters, rhaena and baela. they were the children of daemon targaryen and laena velaryon, both prominent figures in house targaryen and house velaryon. baeron distinguished himself among his siblings with his striking heritage, inheriting the dark hair of his grandmother, rhaenys targaryen, along with a unique set of eyes in two different colors.

while baeron and baela shared their father's passionate and stubborn disposition, rhaena took after their mother, embodying a more composed demeanor and shyness. in the early years of their lives, it seemed as if the world was perfectly aligned for the triplet siblings, filled with the promising joys of youth and the bonds that tied them together. however, that idyllic existence was shattered when they came to understand the circumstances surrounding their mother's failed pregnancy and the repercussions that engulfed their family.

as the years unfolded, baeron struggled to find solace amid the shadows of his childhood. he cultivated a strong sense of independence, firmly believing that he could navigate the challenges of life without relying on others for support. for a brief but significant period, before being sent to driftmark to be a ward alongside baela under the watchful eye of their grandmother, baeron lived on dragonstone with his father, who had recently remarried the ambitious rhaenyra targaryen, heir to the iron throne.

during his time on dragonstone, baeron slowly forged a bond with his stepbrothers, especially with jacaerys "jace" velaryon, the eldest of rhaenyra's sons. their relationship blossomed amidst the backdrop of their turbulent family dynamics, a relationship that provided baeron a sense of belonging he had been craving.
