After the babysitting attack, peace is restored for now, Dugan and Oruga's attack towards the enemies are strange for them, but they're so used to many crazy people now that it is just nothing...

As the hype of the third game rise due to a Nintendo Direct, Nia came to her former gang for emotional support because of what will happen to the background characters in her new world.

Logonyan left as he go to the gang for some mental break day for all the deaths they aren't strong to endure. Since they still have a weekend after a short babysitting job, Whitey and Deetee stay over and watch the family for a while. Dugan stared sadly as his father went to his team, but he made his choice to stay and watch his sister

Mana placed her arm over him, "he will be okay, he's just looking after them for a while"

"I was sad because of how the new game will effect the two returning characters" Dugan glared down at the sink

"But this won't affect just them, it might bring Shulk and Rex within the DLC game in around the end of the year or the end of next year" Mana was saddened to hear

"What are you talking about?" Deetee asked

"Oh, They're talking about the third game. And it might affect Nia somehow" Whitey answered

"How do you know?" Deetee asked

"I make deliveries to Mr. Logos all the time, I encountered them once. Now that I've met Gregory and Freddy, we met them so many times" said Whitey

"Makes sense. But I gotta ask Whitey, is his beast form sort of... attractive?" Deetee blushed

"Why do I ask, the moment when those weasels found us, he came to defend with this form" Whitey recalled

"Big brother is amazing! He is tough!" Oruga smiled

"Aren't you scared of his scary appearance?" Deetee asked

"Nope! I'm so used to it!" Oruga laughed

"I can see why" Whitey looked around and recalled what Logos works for, "do you have friends other than Dugan?"

"Pocky likes me and she called me a strange girl. The reason is that I only have seen them, there only five guys and I bet the tough mullet guy on the direct looks a lot like Mr. Vandham" Oruga recalled

"Wait... he was only around the living for a short time, how do you know about him?" Whitey asked

"Yeah and I heard that the undead side door is fully sealed again, so the ghost are going to stay dead" Deetee explained

"When I was like 3 years old, I was at the arena place with my dad and he told me about the battle" Oruga explained, "he told me about the guy who died to protect his friends and Mythra arrived and have his grave in the spot. I told him, "is that him right there daddy?" I pointed to the big green ghost right there, but he can't see him. "His grave is right there sweetie" I was confused about his not seeing him, "I can see that guy right there!" And then Mr. Vandham ran off afraid after being spotted. And that's why the doctors explained to him that I am seeing spirits naturally due to my dark ability in seeing a different form of plasma, "ectoplasm"."

"That's cool that you can see ghosts. But why are taking the medication?" Deetee asked

"It cancels the link between Yokai and ghosts, and the ability to curse folks because it's a huge problem for me to make any real friends..." Oruga answered

"I see... so what are your other friends?" Deetee asked

"Umm... The second ghost I've met is Milton, he often hangs out near Uncle Mik for some reason. The third and fourth is Hugo and Addam, they normally hang out with Pocky's older sister and her friends. Lastly there's Lora, when my mom is busy or she's not home, I often go to her for advice. We hang out if I'm not taking my medicine on purpose at night" Oruga smiled

"I better be off" Whitey went to the door

"Where are you going?" Deetee asked

"To a pastry shop. I saw this one that looks good and I wanna give it to mom so she can recreate it" Whitey answered

"Can I come with you?" Deetee asked, "I never explored much outside of Sourheart"

"Sure" Whitey agreed and tag along with his sister

"I'll be back Dugan, I like your form!" Deetee blushed, "oh dang it! Why did I say that..."

"Good luck out there..." Dugan blushed

"Is that your girlfriend?" Mana asked her son

"No mom!" Dugan felt embarrassed

"Big brother's got a girlfriend!" Oruga smiled

"Maybe... but It's not the time or the place" Dugan laughed, "when they stopped whatever they're doing, I hope she makes a good Yokaisona"

The markets are bumbling with shady folks, The hooded cat unmasked himself, "you say the kids are here?"

"And guarded by two of the Bear Kids, I don't know why the smaller one has an ability to curse other than poltergeists" another guard told him on his speaker, "be cautious around them"

"You can count on me" Cheshirenyan went to the front of the alley and saw Whitey and Deetee come to the market, "they look grown up the last time I saw them... but for the king, I must make my move"

"I can't believe they shut that project down, and relocated to the new world!" Whitey frowned, "why do the guys with short lifespans get those things!"

"Don't be defeated, someday soon, this world will connect with that world, part of the DLC process" Deetee explained

"I hope you're right, they already added Shulk and Fiora in the game, let's hope they're next" Whitey sighed

"How do you do fellow kids?" Cheshirenyan greeted them with a smile

"Wait... do I know you from somewhere?" Deetee asked

"Hehehe let's just say I haven't been home in a while, Truffles and Whitey" Cheshirenyan smiled

"Are you... my dad?" Whitey smiled

"That's right, You were a baby at the time, I guess you have a faint memory of me" He looked at his daughter

"Yeah I have, but she said you were very fat and have to be separated to get you out on a diet. But look at you now, you're attractive like the pictures!" Deetee smiled

"Yeah... she told you that..." he noticed how his ex-wife lied to the youngest kids

"Why are you here in Alrest, Dad?" Whitey asked

"I'm here to see my dear children, cause your folks said you'd be here. If anything to keep my mind off of sweets, I must have your paws, to remind me that you are my beautiful children, and I wished I could've spend more time with you." Cheshirenyan hugged them

Both think it over, "can we do this privately?"

"Of course!" They went to the alley and Cheshirenyan cut off their paws and new paws grow in, "now I must go back to work... must make your mom proud of how caring I am to you kids"

"Okay, bye dad" Whitey smiled

"Bye dad!" Deetee waved as he left in the special elevator

The elevator goes to the underground castle in The Magma Kingdom, it was hot for them, but Cheshirenyan placed the paws in a really icy bag to prevent them from being melted

"Cheshirenyan! You've brought the paws of said children that you've speak of?" The King asked

"Yes, it is hard cause I lied to my children, but they were being lied to by their mother, not telling them that she divorced me because I've driven my son away" Cheshirenyan bowed down his head in respect

"I admire your sacrifice, but you will not betray me. If you do..." The Weasel King cases fire on a minion and being burned to death

"I understand..." Cheshirenyan sighed and looked at the kids paws, "I'm sorry kids... it's daddy's work..."

The two kids head home a day later, they went up the mountain and entered their home.

"Oh kids, you're back" Ruby hugged them

"Mom, you never believe what we've saw" Deetee told her mom

"Let's talk later, we're going to Bad Street" Ruby explained

"Bad Street? Isn't that where the bad guys hang out?" Whitey asked

"I know, but Bittersweet has news to share to everyone. And I have something to say about what I've told you..." Ruby looking glum for what she would say to the children

"Let's keep the sad talk for our son, let's go!" Milky heads off with the wheelbarrow and head to Bittersweet's store for a very important family meeting
