It started out with nicely made cabin hidden in the mountains, for some, it's their way to be apart from society and be on the nature side. They made it here to get away from it all, but what's inside is special, it's a home to four cats.

"It's time we shall celebrate your birthday Whitey, how about a story we shall all learn" an elder light brown cat carrying an old book to his young, long, white-haired cat

"Can I have a cookie before reading Grampa Milky?" Whitey asked

"No, you do know the consequences of eating a bucket of those things" Milky replied

"I'll give you just the batter dough though" A dark brown cat gives her brother a share of her edible cookie dough

"Thank you Deetee. As I was saying, there was once a time we stray away from the public as we sleep" Milky explained

"Oh boy" Deetee replied as they heard this story a billion times

"We are blessed with this power, yet we are given a curse. It all happened long ago when your great grandpa has fulfilled his quest to seek treasure, a genie named Surer"

A young cat yokai entered an ancient temple in search for treasure, sadly there wasn't a single gold token of sorts, just carvings of a mystical being being mentioned.

A shiny glimpse from the pedestal carrying a strange incense lamp has caught his interest.

It is perhaps the only known treasure around here, but it has no warning. He examined it and a tiny kirin dragon emerged from the lamp to greet him

"My master, congratulations, you're the 783th person to ever summon me!" The genie explained

"The 783th? What does that mean?" The cat asked

"You're giving me so much hope! I've got 217 more masters to grant their one wish before evolving into a better being that grants three wishes!" The genie answered, "My name is Surer! I am sure that you are satisfied with the wish I grant you. Many others in the past regretted making them with me because, you know, I am a single-wish Kirin genie and I don't carry the reset button with me. I am so known to cause some problems like from some people such as Manfred, he wished to be the strongest man in the world, but he wanted to be able to defeat the bullies who ended up as their emperors or presidents, which got him locked up. Any wish is possible, aren't you expecting anything else like treasure in this ruins? I can grant you that, but others might steal it from you... or I can give you a lifetime supply of strawberries! Good choice, but I think they might spoil if you don't eat it all in time..."

"You are not like other genies..." the cat said

"I'm sorry, it's just that I ended up being blamed for, it's a tough promotion to earn if any other master hate you for the things they made for the wishes themselves!" Surer breathed calmly, "okay, if you don't have a wish right now, I can grant you later if you want"

"Hmm... it is hard for imports recently in the European world, but I wish for a way for chocolate to never expire, and it could last a lifetime for me to eat as I create them from the palm of my hand" He said

"Hahaha!!! I've made a wish like that once, this guy named Midas asked me for the golden touch and It is totally laughable! He is happy yet he became devastated!" Surer laughed, "sure, but I don't want to do the touching thing, I don't want you to feel sorry for yourself" he granted him a wish and his fur became chocolate brown, has his tail fire reduced to chocolate chip-like, and his scent changed from a bad smell to a sweet smell of chocolate

"I looked different.... How am I-" he asked

"See for yourself, imagine an animal and form it with your mind" Surer explained

The cat focused on his new power and created a chocolate sheep, "whoa..."

"Are you satisfied with my work?" Said Surer

"This is brilliant, I can make money off of this!" He told him

"Just keep the secret to yourself, I made you out of the most mystical chocolate in the world, if anyone finds out, you'll be eaten alive. Cause royalty wants a taste of the richness of its finest ounce of its sweetness, better keep that promise between you and me. I don't want to feel guilty about anything I've granted..." Surer felt sorry for the cat

"I will take it to the grave" he added

"Thank you... now I must wait for my 784th master..." he was sent back to the lamp and the temple disappeared from sight

Few years later he formed a great business with his chocolate, he doesn't want it to be suspicious-looking, so he kept it at bar forms for now.

But one day when they find a way to import chocolate ingredients in Europe, business is getting slow for him cause many more chocolate makers are made to sweep the competition the cat received. He was frustrated with this change and he decided to expand his line and form animal chocolates for the customers, but others are starting to get suspicious of his skills and decided to break his candy-making hands

One guy broke the hand directly, and discovered his secret, the cat's hand healed itself and smelled fresh chocolate from the aftermath. He soon figured out why those chocolate animals are so realistic compared to the mold models of the animals, he's a magic chocolate maker!

Rumors about this lead all the way to the greedy king, who loved chocolate so much. He asked the cat for a job to make chocolate for him, and he agreed to do so. The king desperate wants him to make a chocolate model of himself and eat it with his own hands.

Our great grandfather went to the kitchen alone to go to work, but there's something hiding there, my mother, your great grandma Judith. She is a servant to the king as she witnessed my powers, she wondered why my chocolates are based on the real thing...

"This is remarkable, there's nothing bad about this kind of witchcraft?" She replied

"You saw!?" He was shocked that his secret was exposed to a girl cat

"How did you obtain this power?" She asked

"A genie perhaps?..." he explained

"You mean the imbecile, known as Surer?" She laughed

"He is upset about every insult from every master who hates him..." He said

"I don't know him personally, but he made a bit of a reputation in this old world, you see, he was from the Silk Road and the end point where Europe was is where he was dropped off. From what I can tell from you, he grew aware of his mistakes, and he makes a careful wish from your request" Judith explained

"We'll I do like that wish, I have a famous candy business now. It became more of an issue because of chocolate being common now" he said

"Oh but you work for the king now, you will be heavily rewarded" she ensured him

"You're right, it would be easy now" he said

Or so it seemed, a year and a half later, the king demanded more of the chocolates and walked to the kitchen. He started him, causing him to chop his hand off.

The king screamed and realized his hand is made out of chocolate, he realized why other candy people hate him, he is a chocolate wizard and he is made out of chocolate, he drove our great grandfather into a slave and took away his money and business. His wife Judith, who is now bearing his child ran off to the new world and hide from the hungry tyrant who began eating him entirely, but he didn't blame Surer, he blamed himself, he was so greedy that he went to the king for a better job, but it cost him his life, now that he will never see his son in his own eyes...

Milky cried tears as he saw them on their phones, "what are you doing kids? Aren't you following along?"

"Sorry grandpa, 8 texted me while you're telling the story and Whitey got a bit creative with the cookie dough" Deetee explained

"Rawr!" Whitey molded a cookie dough bear and he ate some of it

"Well... happy birthday to you, boy. I better get some sleep then" Milky sighed as he head to bed. "They're becoming Yokaisonas, I thought it was the right time to mention it again... but it would be important for those guardians one day..."
