The first thing I felt when I woke up was pain. Everything was hurting. My head, my arms, my legs and my heart. I opened my eyes but immediatly closed them due to the bright lights hurting them. I groaned in pain as I finally managed to see something and sat up.

I looked around only to realize that I wasn't in my room. Actually I didn't know where I was and how I got there. But I knew that I needed to leave.

After some time of me struggeling to get up and remove all the machines which were connected to my body, a medical droid entered the room.

"You need to rest, mam. You've had some severe injuries. I'm just here to change your bandages and give you some morphine, so please hold still for a couple of minutes until I'm done."

"How long was I out?"

"A couple of hours. Around 5 or 6 I think", said a voice from the door. I looked up and saw Hunter entering the room.

"How are you doing (Y/N)?"

"Well it could be better Sarge, but for the fact that I just woke up and had some shots through my body, it's alright. "

"That's normal little'un" , "eyyyyy, sarge stop calling me that! you know I hate it. I'm not a kid!"

Hunter laughed "I know you hate it. That's why I call you that little'un and besides you are still the new one in the group sooo you technically are the little one"

We both laughed but it erupted soon

"Thanks for coming here, Hunter." I said in a serious tone, "But what happened?"

Hunter avoided to look at me and just stared at the wall. That was really unusual for him since he is a very direct person and tells everbody what he thinks.

Then he began to speak slowly "Crosshair found you ehm- unconscious in your room with your wounds still bleeding. He provided first aid."

Oh was the only thing I could say. My smile dropped slowly as I remembered what happend the day before. I avoided looking at Hunter as I felt the inner pain from yesterday returning.

Hunter walked towards me and hugged me tight "It's ok little'un. He's an idiot."

"Thanks Hunter. And I guess we all know he is.", I smiled " But I need some alone time right now. I have to think of everything"

"Of course (Y/N). See you around then!". and with these words Hunter saluted and left the room

I let out a deep sigh as I dropped down onto bed. Some tears left my eyes as I thought of what Crosshair had said. Over and over again I heard him say these words. I heard him say that I was useless, that he doesn't need me around and that he would be better off without me.

I started to hyperventilate. I had to leave this room. Not only this room, I had to leave this planet. At this moment I didn't think of any consequences I just couldn't take this feeling anymore. I had no idea what I did wrong with Crosshair, he just always hated me while all I wanted was to be his friend or maybe a little bit more than his friend. He had been my little crush for a while now.

I removed every machine attached to my body and started to stand up. I couldn't even think straight. Everything went blury for a moment but I ignored it and started to walk out of the doors with my knees still shaking.

Just when I left the room I already bumped into someone and my body met the floor.

"Ouch" "Woah! Are you alright?", said a voice, it was the one I wanted to hear the least at the moment.

"Perfectly fine" I said cold as I stood up and walked past him. Suddenly a hand grabbed my wrist and turned me around

"What do you think are you doing?", Crosshair asked.

"That is none of your buisness" I hissed as I tried to get rid of his hand but I underestimated his strength so I had to give up soon.

"Would you please be so kind and let go of my hand" I asked sweetly.

As soon as he let go of it, I gave him a death glare as I started to make my way  through the corridor as fast as possible. Honestly it wasn't fast at all cause my legs were still shaking and I could hardly even walk.

Soon Crosshair caught up and took me, to throw me over his shoulder. Then he walked back to my room.

"Let me go asshole. I can walk on my own! Just let me go", I screamed but he just answered with a smirk

"Nope, there is no way I'm letting you go. It's to early to get out of bed"

"Since when do you care!" I shouted back

His smirk disappeard and he said quiet "I always did"

I went silent and looked at him in disbelief  "Woah I'm gonna mark this day in my non-existing calender! The mighty Crosshair does care!" I laughed sarcastic "I don't believe you a word. Do you even listen to yourself?" I said serious.

He didn't answer. I sighed in defeat and looked around and damn I had a good sight. At his butt. I bit my lip. I mean after all I was still attracted to him and honestly I had to enjoy this sight cause I probably will never ever have it again. Sooo since I will never have the chance why not take it, I thought as I smacked his butt and commented "Nice butt".

He suddenly stopped in shock of what I just said and did.

I heard him sigh and wisper that it must be the morphine causing me to act like that.

I giggled at his comment and was surprised myself of my sudden change of emotions. We then entered my room and he put me back on my bed and out of nothing I was mad again.

I crossed my arms and looked anywhere but his direction. The medical droid from earlier reentered my room to check on me and he wasn't happy with my attempt to escape.

"Mam, how many times do I have to tell you that you are in no position to walk around the base. You are still too weak and your foolish littlewalk won't make anything better. If you don't rest you won't heal! But thank you sir for bringing her back."

"No problem doc" Crosshair answered

After the medic left Crosshair just looked at me confused and asked "What the hell were you doing?"

"As I already said. It's none of your buisness" I said still looking at the wall

"Well I think it's my buisness since this is about my butt" he just said with a smirk

I went bright red and just said "That is none of your buisness"

He just laughed and walked towards me and sat on my bed.

I looked away in embarassment and anger but that was only until he started poking me. Hell no I'm so ticklish everywhere. I couldn't do anything but giggle as he continued on poking me.

I barely managed to say "Stop it" between two giggles but he didn't stop and just said merciless

"I'm not going to stop pocking you until you give me some attention"

"Woah what happened. Who are you and what did you do with Crosshair. Wait actually I don't want to know cause I like this Crosshair a lot more"

"Well then you're in luck cause this Crosshair doesn't plan on leaving anytime soon when he is with you." he smirked

I suddenly turned my head to look at him shocked but I didn't calculate that his head was now only centimeters away from mine and his lips nearly touched mine.

Now it was on him to look shocked but that changed fast as he smiled and looked me in my eyes.

"May I?" he asked.

"What-" I couldn't finish my question as I suddenly felt his lips on mine. It was just a short kiss and he pulled away immeadiatly after that

Before I could say anything Crosshair said softly "(Y/N), I'm so sorry about what I said yesterday! I didn't mean it. I'm such an idiot to say something like that to such a beautiful girl like you. I- I just didn't want to admit that I like you. To be honest: I think I'm in love with you and I was terrified. I-" I cut him off by just saying

"Just kiss me already, idiot."

"With pleasure"

He put his hands on my cheeks and moved his head towards mine until our lips finally reconnected.

I sighed in enjoyment and I heard him chuckle.

He deepened the kiss and I just didn't want to let go off him ever again. I loved this idiot.

We kissed until we suddenly heard somebody scream in excitement. We let go of each other surprised and saw an excited Wrecker who just looked at us.

He yelled in his excitement "I can't wait to tell Hunter and Tech about this. Crosshair finally told her. Crosshair has a girlfriend. Crosshair has a girlfriend" he chanted at the end.

I just saw Crosshair throwing a pillow at him and heard a yelp when it hit Wrecker. He ran out. Probably to tell Hunter and Tech.

Crosshair looked at me again with a huge smile

"Now where did we stop" he asked

Before he kissed me again he laughed

"And now you will get more of this 'nice butt'"

I laughed as he leaned forward and pulled me into another passionate kiss.
