AN eyo guys wassup. I'm sorry I haven't updated in SOOO long, but I'm back! I'm going to be updating all of my books from now on ( Yeeee boiii ) so...enjoy!

I woke up in a place I didn't know I clothes. I hadn't worn clothes in months, heck, years. Suddenly everything came rushing back to me, that guy... Keith! He rescued me, and I was reunited with Shiro, and met his friends. I shoved the covers off of me, looking at my metallic leg and hearing the machinery clicking in place of my spine. I tried to stand, stumbled, and stood. I stood. I haven't done that in years either.

I walked out of the room, which I remembered was Shiros, and started to try to find my way to the kitchen, or at least to the others.

Finally I stumbled into a large room with all of the Paladins sitting around. Lance and Keith bickering, Pidge egging them on, Hunk trying to stop her, and Shiro watching all the commotion. Everything stopped as I walked in.

" Y/n! " Katie smiled and ran over, helping me down the few stairs.

" Hey guys " I chuckled and hung onto Katie.

" How are you, N/n? " Shiro smiled as I wa stead over to him to sit

" I'm fine, just a tad hungry- " I didn't get to finish before Hunk let out a very dramatic gasp.

" You haven't eaten? " he looked like he was ready to pass out.

" No, I was just trying to find anyone so I wasn't alone, aha.. " I tucked a piece of hair behind my ear.

" Well we need to fix that! " Lance bounded over and offered me his hand " Let get you some grub! "

I took his hand very slowly, and with that Hunk, Lance and I began our walk to the kitchen ( I assume ).

Lance was very careful, making sure I made it up stairs and that I didn't trip. Pretty soon we made it into what looked like the kitchen, lance helped me sit down, and Hunk began to make something for me to eat.

" Say, you probably haven't had anything to eat for a while, huh y/n ? " Lance sat across from me as I sadly smiled

" Well, I would be fed. Just...not as often as needed. " I closed my eyes signaling that I was done with talk of my galran enslavement for now.

" So, how'd you meet Shiro? " I perked up at this.

" I was sent on the mission with him and the Holts, I was the medic even though they were all perfectly capable of taking care of themselves. " I chuckled " I remember our first day in space like it was yesterday, " I smiled sadly " Shiro and I were already very good friends from that stupid space school. " I rolled my eyes remembering how strict they were " We would always play pranks on the younger cadets, and would almost always get in trouble " I laughed

" Wow, you and Shiro must be very close. " Hunk placed a plate of..goo.. in front of me " Trust me, I know how it looks, just try it "

I picked up the the spoon with the green substance on it, and carefully put some in my mouth. It actually didn't taste awful, it really didn't even have a taste to it. I began to chow down, forgetting that Hunk and Lance were sitting there, only to realize they were once I was done.

" I-I'm so sorry for my manners, I just- "

" you're fine! Don't worry, we understand " Lance smiled at me, giving me a thumbs up.

I smiled as a few tears ran down my face, and slowly, I got up and gave Hunk a big hug, and motioned for Lance to come over as well to join in.

" Thank you so much "

I think - no - I know I'm safe now.

The next few days I got acquainted with everyone, mostly staying with Shiro though.

Pidge has me sit with her as she worked on her tech stuff just to talk
Lance would help me walk around so that one day I wouldn't need help
Hunk always managed to make me smile just by being himself
And Shiro was always as I remembered him, sweet and gentle.

It took a few days, but Allura actually started to talk to me, she even gave me some of her old training clothes just so that I was more comfortable.
Even Coran made me smile, and showed me how to use some of the Altean tech.

The only person I hadn't really talked to yet was... Keith

One day I found him sitting in the lounge, and decided to try to talk to him.

" H-hey, uh, " I stumbled on one of the stairs " I never really thanked you for saving me. " I decided to stay on the stair I was on, just so I wouldn't fall.

" If..if you hadn't have saved me, I don't know what they were planning on doing to me. " I choked on my tears.

" It's no big deal. " Keith mumbled

" But it is! " I hunched over, crying fully now

" You have no idea what they did, and I know it's because I haven't told anyone. But.. "

" I think I'll tell you "
