welcome to THE CON. the lore on this stupid book is long, confusing, and unfortunately not interesting, so i'll condense it for newcomers! all you need to know is that it was previously titled HELLIONS and was a graphic lotto; then, it was a portfolio *only*... and now, it's a lotto again, by the name of THE CON (after the tegan and sara song.)

          ↳ the concept of a graphic lotto was created by julia / soulofstaars. do not forget to credit julia if you create your own graphic lotto.

          ↳ the oscillating divider seen was made by gia / dancefevers; the part heading / titling style used for each update is by gia also. please ask her for permission for either before using.

please read the following information carefully:

          ↳  if you would like a cover, aside from filling out the form (available in the next chapter), you just need to give credit wherever you use the cover (i.e. in the book descrption); and you need to be following me when you request (following from an alt. account does not count and unfollowing me after a cover is made results in you being blacklisted).

          ↳  the story you are requesting a cover for does NOT have to be published, but books that are already published will be looked upon more favourably.

          ↳ if the story isn't already published, it MUST be published within 7 days. you must reply to your original request comment thread and notify me that the story has been published. failure to publish your story within this timeframe results in you being blacklisted.

          ↳ YOU MUST USE THE COVER FOR AT LEAST ONE (1) MONTH.

          ↳  i will try to fulfill as many requests as possible. what helps me in creating a cover for you is giving me detailed information about your fic and its characters; providing the pinterest boards and spotify playlists you use for your story; and politeness. i cannot guarantee that i'll get to everyone in a timely fashion, but polite, respectful communication should be the default regardless. please remember that these covers are made at my discretion—this is a cover lotto, not a cover shop.

          ↳  if more than one (1) month has transpired since you have made your graphic request, you can request at another shop / lotto and you are not obligated to use any cover i make for you. if your cover is made within a month of your request you have to use it.

          ↳  for comic covers, there are a few extra details i need (and a few limitations, but those will be specified in the next chapter.) otherwise, i will be offering "simple" and "manip" style covers, examples of which will be shown in the next chapter. i have lost track of a lot of comments between graphic lottos (which is entirely my fault, i apologise). if you want a cover and have requested previously, please request again.

          ↳  there is no limit to how many covers you can request, just know that there's no guarantee all of your requests will be made. the password for the google form linked in the next chapter is your favourite of the three colours that appear in the animated divider above.

↳ ongoing support of this book and its updates is also heavily appreciated, especially if you have more than one (1) active request at any given time 😁 and i also really appreciate support of my stories (non-graphic ones). i am trying to fulfill as many requests as possible but really, seriously appreciate genuine comments and votes on my fics!
