"Adam! what are you doing? wait till your daughter arrives" said a man who was telling another who was going into the manor and it was raining heavily "she will understand i need to help her reach the other side i need to lift the curse" the one called Adam said. He went into the manor after giving the man who told him to wait a letter and the locket he found "send this to my daughter and tell her i love her" said Adam and he ran inside the manor.

Elina Raveswood woke up from her restless sleep the same dream playing over in her mind. "another night another dream" she sighed then she got up to get ready for work. Elina lived in a fancy condo which she paid about 1500 per month for it. She had brand new furniture and replicas of famous artworks. She was 20 years old and very beautiful. She had long red wavy hair and green eyes. She was fairly slender. She worked at a company as an excecutive in New York. After settling down for a bowl of cereal she heard a knock on the door which Elina answered it "Elina Ravenswood?" said a man. He looked to be 20-25 years old, blonde hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans with white runners he was fairly good looking "yes im Elina" "wow you do look like her, my name is John Malone i worked with your father and he asked me to give you this" he held a package which Elina took walking to the couch to open it John following behind her closing her door.

Out slid a heart shaped locked on a gold chain. on the cover were flowers it was a beautiful yet simple locket. There was also a letter from her father. she opened the letter to read what he had to say

Dear Elina

Im so sorry i havnt been around you for all these years. After the death of your mother i had to put you in the orphanage so i could search for her spirit. I became a Paranormal Researcher and part of a true Ghost Hunter group but what i found was much more then just prankish spirits i found a mansion in the west. Everyone who i showed your picture says you look like Melanie. Please come to New Thunder Mesa. im sure you had dreams of a woman a bride calling out for help because i have too. Please Elina go to Thunder Mesa your the only one who can help Melanie

Elina couldnt believe it but she did, her father wanted her to help a spirit reality clicked into her mind  "forget it John my father never kept contact with me and whats worse he dumped me at that god forsaken orphanage first change he got" she stormed out of the room slamming and locking her bedroom door "Elina please your father is dead because of The Phantom your the only one who can help the bride" Elina didnt answer him and looked at the city lights. Suddenly Elina saw a glowing from the locket "Please is someone there?" the voice was very familiar "yes there is im here" Elina answered "Oh good who are you young girl?" "My name is Elina Ravenswood who are you?" "your my descendant?" the voice asked "first you tell me who you are" "oh forgive me Im Melanie Melanie Ravenswood" Elina was shocked somehow through the locket this spirit was talking with her, she moved closer to the locket picking it up "thank you, i communicate better when im connected something" Melanie sighed out of relief "Elina please go with John its not only my spirit who cant be free, the spirit of your father needs you too hes lonely and scared" "what?" "All the spirits in the manor want to go to the light but they cant the Phantom is keeping us here" Melanie said. The light faded from the locket, Elina stayed up all night thinking about everything. She walked out of her bedroom looking at John.

"alright ill go " she decided "great i was assigned to bring you there, i already got the train tickets only way to get there" John said then she called the company to assign a subsitute for her and everything else was taken care of.
