The Legend
This story is one that happened 3 years ago about a girl, a cursed mansion, a bride that has been trapped and an evil spector. I know i was there through the horror. To help you understand better i think i should tell you what happened in the 1800s in the town called Thunder Mesa
Henry Ravenswood founded the town and owned the gold mine. He had a beautiful daughter named Melanie who had red hair and green eyes and a wife named Martha who also had red hair but brown eyes. Henry always wore a brown suit and brown shoes, he had brown hair green eyes and a moustache above his upper lip.It wasnt long before Henry built a beautiful home on the hill full of antiques and ornate furniture. Alot of men desired Melanie so Henry had to lock her away from the world inside the manor. In 1860 thats when everything went wrong.
The gold was stolen from the mine leaving Henry almost bankrupt, When Melanie was 20 she fell in love with a poor miner named Eric McCready already engaged despite Henry's attempts to stop her from marrying. Then shortly a deadly earthquake struck killing her parents and most of the townfolk. Melanie didnt mourn long for she set a date for the wedding finding her mothers wedding gown.
The happy day came and the survivors of the earthquake came to celebrate their union. No one realized that a shadowy figure had captured Eric before the wedding and hung him by the neck up in the attic rafters. Hours passed and no sign of the groom people were beginning to think he left running scared of commitment and they left Melanie in the house alone. "someday he will come back to me someday" Melanie said never taking the wedding gown off or dropping her rose bouquet. The mysterious spector became known as the Phantom he killed Eric his sinister laugh heard outside and inside the walls of the manor. People who have been brave enough to see the Phantom face to face say hes the Spirit of Henry Ravenswood intent on never letting Melanie leave. The town was rebuilt by the descendants of the old townspeople about 150 years later. The quiet town of New Thunder Mesa would always be shadowed by its haunting past and the inhabitents of the town could swear they heard party sounds a sinister laugh and also the mournful song of a woman singing from the Manor walls. The home of the Ravesnwoods was named The Phantom Manor by the townsfolk and most dont even know if Melanie is still alive in that old house but some claim to have seen her in the window still in her wedding gown with a candelabra in her hand vanishing as quickly as she had appeared.
And So it begins
