The group watched as Dream was tossed around like a ragdoll all the while their former leader continued to laugh.

Dream's speech had taken on an opposite effect and gave power to the dark apples within Nightmare, the raw despair the guardian packed into each word fueling the stomach of darkness. After the fifth toss, Dream was thrown aside, left to lie on the cold ground.

Cross swallowed a small gasp. "Alright, we should definitely do something."

"Yeah." Dust nodded, getting up from the bushes and summoning a few deadly blasters. He rushed out into battle, entering combat with the now outrageously overpowered Nightmare. Horror followed suite, picking up his axe and summoning a large wall of bones to corral the fight in a safer area. Cross was about to get up as well but Killer set a hand on his shoulder.

"Look, you may still be great at video games, but you should have healed your arm back when you had the chance." He spilled. "Stay here and don't die." After that, he got up and rushed to the burning building, slicing his way carefully inside.

Cross frowned as he watched his friends battle Nightmare with all their might, trying whatever they could to get him to yield. "Hurry up guys..."

Swap spat out a bit of bone marrow, coughing. He could feel his chest burning with the pain of a few broken ribs. It hurt. A lot. "This is getting out of control..." He quietly muttered, shakily getting to his feet. With a bit of magic, he began to heal his wounds, the soft green light coating the cracks and bruises.

"Ooh, am I late to the party?"

The skeleton jumped before looking to where the voice came from, his eye-lights meeting another pair of eyes. Swap froze. "What are you doing here...??"

"Felt someone dying. It's my job to come, isn't it?"

Swap couldn't believe what he was hearing. "What?! Who's-"

"Seems to be someone powerful by the feel of it. I'll go check it out."

With that, the newcomer vanished, leaving Swap in a whole lot of worried.
