Pain....... Pain everywhere. Raindrop didn't dare move, she felt like she had lava under her scale on her face. She kept her eyes closed but listened, muffled voices could be heard, she couldn't tell if it was her hearing or had something over it but she could tell it was hard to hear the voices.
" What do you mean you don't know how this happened?" a deep male voice said with an angry tone.
" SnakeFinder, calm down, look we will investigate this later, right now we are having to deal with two deaths in one day." This time a female voice said calmly.
Sunny is consulting with SnakeFinder. wait! Did she just say two deaths? I know Seahorse died but who- oh no.........
" Yes ma'am. I-I'm sorry, I-I'm just worried about Raindrop is all...." SnakeFinder says quietly. Raindrop could hear him shuffling on his large talons.
" Then you need to stay here and worry about her, while I go worry about the whole school." She says quietly, in an almost whisper. Raindrop then heard smaller talons walking away, and larger talons walking closer to her. Very gently, SnakeFinder grabs Raindrops talon, so gently it was like holding a feather. Raindrop takes a deep ragged breath in and sighs opening her eyes, but something was covering her right eye so she could only see through her left eye.
"S-SnakeFinder?" she whispers, her throat felt like she swallow a cactus and then drank a gallon of salt water. SnakeFinder eyes quickly looks at her. She knowtist that his eyes were bloodshot and his dark cheeks stained with tears. He quickly smiled a big smile and held her talon alittle tighter, covering it with his other he nuzzled her forehead.
"W-What happened?" She whispers to him. He pulls back and sighs looking at her with sad eyes.
" There was an explosion in the art cave, you were burned bad. Your scales melted some and blistered horribly on your face, your wing, and your tail. There was also another dragonet in the cave when the explosion happened, his scale where so burned that we could see his bones, he barley had any horns, we couldn't even tell what tri-
" Nightwing." Raindrop interrupts him, " his name was Starcatcher" She whisper sadly looking down as he talons.
" I'm so sorry Rain, I truly am." He whispers trying to comfort her best he could without hurting her.
Who would do this? It must be someone in the school, like how Winter sister did. Is this the same thing? But why would someone do this to dragonet. This has to be stopped!
" SnakeFinder can you help me up?" She ask quietly solely moving off of the fur covered ledge in the healing cave.
" Whoa Whoa Whoa, A-Are you sure?" He ask grabbing her forearm steadying her until she stands on her own.
" We need to find the rest of our winglet, where would they be?" She ask as pain shoot through her scales as she stands.
" They are probably in the Prey center or they are most likely outside. We are in a free period right now, I think they have cancelled the rest of school for the day anyway. Why do you need them?" he ask finally scratching his ruff.
" We have to figure out what's going on and why." She replies and starts hobbling to the entrance of Jade Mountain.

" Then suddenly the whole cave started shaking" Dandelion explain waving her talons in the air franticly " honestly I thought we were about to die"
Arctic, Sapphire, Dandelion, Current and Onyx were all sitting outside basking in the sunlight. But another shape was there beside Sapphire, It was Ember, the scared Skywing from earlier.
Raindrop and SnakeFinder walk to them.
" RAINDROP! Three moons what happened?? " Dandelion roars as the trots over to them.
" It looks like you walked through the old nightwing fortress" Arctic says walking over followed by Sapphire and Ember. Oh.... Ember you're in for a surprise with her. She thinks to herself with a small smirk. She hears Arctic snicker. Get out of my mind. She sends to her. Arctic looks at her and smirks and winks.
" there was an explosion and Raindrop was in there when it happened. " SnakeFinder says quietly walking beside her.
" Three moons what happened to yo- OUCH!" Dandelion started to say before Arctic stepped on her tail stopping her.
" what? Oh.. " she mumbles
" how are you feeling Rain?" Arctic ask kindly looking at her bandaging.
Raindrop sighs and sits down with a grunt. SnakeFinder looks at her worried.
" I'm alive, really sore." She says shrugging her good wing.
" what is going on?" Sapphire says as she walks over with Ember.
" I don't know, all I know is two dragonet died today and i almost did!" Raindrop responds quickly with slight anger in her voice. SnakeFinder tenses up at Raindrops response.
" if only we knew who wa-" Arctic starts to say but Sunny comes flying over with great speed but stays hovering in the air.
" Raindrop. You are requested in the main cave for questioning. Please. Hurry." She says in her kind voice with a hint of worry.
" what in three moons?" She whispers to herself. And stands up.
" I'm coming with you. " SnakeFinder says quickly standing with her.
Raindrops sighs not feeling like arguing she begins to walk to the main cave with SnakeFinder right beside her. Her scales burned and cried with pain with every step. Why would they need me? Maybe its something with the explosion.... She thinks to herself with her brow furrowed.
Her and SnakeFinder walk into the main cave were dozens of dragonet's are there surrounding the pillar with the gong. Tsunami, Sunny, and Clay are standing there. Sunny is rubbing her talons together nervously while Tsunami looks down her snout as she limps in, her body language say " I'm angry" but her eyes say," I'm sorry". Raindrop gulps and looks up at them.
Clay steps forward with a slight limp and sighs, " Raindrop, wasn't you in the art cave when the explosion happened?" I knew it. She thought with a sigh," yes I was." She said holding her head up high. Her bandaging rubs her burned face.
" I KNEW THIS HYBRID WOULD CAUSE THIS!" a voice roars from the crowd of dragonets. She turns her head only to see a black dragonet with a scar on his left talon and part of his tail missing.
Raindrop hisses and he snarls back.
" Sharptalon calm down!" Tsunami snarls clamping her front talons on the edge of the pillar where she stood. The Nightwing hisses quietly and glares at Raindrop.
" Aun-...er.. I mean... Tsunami I had nothing to do with the explosion! Its someone else in the school but its not me! For all we know it could be Sharptalon!" She snarls.
" Raindrop." SnakeFinder whispers to her calming her. Clay spreads his large wings hushing the cave.
" I'm sorry Raindrop but for now until we get solid evidence we need to keep you under servalence." He says leaping off the pillar stepping towards her. Suddenly SnakeFinder steps in front of her.
" what do you mean " keep her?" He hisses.
Clay sighs," just for precaution SnakeFinder. "
SnakeFinder steps back beside her," I'll come and see you as soon as I can." He whispers and lightly bushes her dark with with his dark green one. Raindrop smiles a small smile as Clay steps in front of her.
" Raindrop, please. Follow me." He says putting a wing over her bandaged one leading her to an empty cave. " I'm sorry Rain, but a few of the dragonets think you make the explosion and killed Starcatcher." He says stepping back out of the cave.
" Uncle Clay I didn't do it. And I know its most of the Nightwings wanting this to happen." She says sitting down in the dark cave. The only light is the small flickering torch close to the entrance.
" I know, I'm sorry Raindrop but its nothing that can't be solved. Okay, don't fret. We will resolve it soon." He says and with that he walks away. Raindrop listens to his talons clanking away with one slightly sliding with his limp. She sighs once she couldn't hear his footsteps. She lays down and crosses her forarms and lays her head on them. What am I going to do?.........
