Happy New Year my dear readers! Yayyy!! We have finally completed 2020 and entered 2021!!! Thank you so much for your love and patience for waiting for me to update this chapter!! My practicals are over and I managed it successfully and somehow completed it with much fun during viva!! Since my practicals (a big headache ) is over, I will be mostly able to update regularly. PARTH POV:

"What do you want? ",I asked Jacqueline with my teeth clenched.

"I just asked you a very simple question ",she said, coming closer with a fake innocent face.

I don't know why I tolerated her for such a long time! I think I should put this to an end.

"If you think I am going to fuck you, then bury that thought deep under the ground because it's not going to happen! I have no interest in you ",I said sternly.

She looked a little shocked by my straight-forward words. But she composed herself by forming a smirk on her lips.

"Did you complete the dare? Did you sleep with Akansha? ",she asked with an evil smirk on her face. At that time, an idea popped out of my mind.

"Yes ",I replied to her. "What? ",she asked, a little appalled.

"I completed the dare. I slept with Akansha ",I said sternly. "Bu---but how di--",she stuttered.

Such a dumb!! The dare was I needed to sleep with Akansha. And I have slept with her for quite a lot of times. In the clear sense, I slept with her but nothing happened between us. Nothing happened like Jacqueline's thinking. I just tricked her with her own words.

"Proof? Where is the proof? ",she asked with a smirk. "I can even say that I fucked you now to everyone. You know what really happened here but the others don't. So, without proof, how can I believe you? I asked you to bring the proof before. Where is it? ",she asked.

"I shall bring it tomorrow. It's in my house. "

"I can't wait for tomorrow. I need the proof now ",she said sternly, clinging to me like a leech.

"Fine! Let's go ",I said, asking her to come with me. The faster I finish this off, the faster I can be away from her, the faster I can meet Akansha! I don't know what Kansha is thinking right now. I told her that I would come and meet her but now I had to take Jacqueline to my house to finish these stuffs. And after that I can be with her. I know that Akansha will surely not think much about it. Or will she?

'Are you going to tell her the truth?' , a voice in me asked.

No, not at all! How am I supposed to say that to her? I will just omit the reason and hide it. Even she has her own secrets about her family and that Sam! How can I forget the name which slipped out of her mouth that day? Never! Samuel Winston! He is a multimillionaire. His age is 23 now. A five year gap between him and her. He is currently working with his father Aiden Winston. His mother Mrs. Stella Winston is a famous fashion designer. He has a little sister too. All of their private life is hidden very, very well. They must be very powerful! To my utter sadness, Sam looks a little handsome....umm...maybe a little more handsome but not more than me!

Akansha must have met him as a dance partner. But now why are they not on speaking terms? It's very much clear to me that Akansha still cares for him deeper in her heart for some reason. She was even drunk talking about him. Her parents must have known Sam too well.

But I am Parth Saxton! I can handle anything!! And I will handle this smoothly with no difficulty.

"It's been ages since I have come here ",I heard Jacqueline's voice bringing me out of my thoughts. We had reached my house.

I just ignored her words and got out of the car. "Parth ",Jacqueline whined.

But I just entered the house silently. "Shall we have some fun Parth? Don't you think it's been quite a long time ",Jacqueline said in her sultry voice.

Dammit! She surely has no shame! Akansha was right when she said that Jacqueline was a crazy, mad girl!

"Listen carefully Jacqueline. I don't want you. Get that on your thick head very clearly ",I said coldly, moving away from her before she could come closer to me.

"Wait here. I will come down within a few minutes ",I said and walked towards my room without throwing a single glance towards her.

I opened my laptop once I entered the room. There the screen played the video of the night when Akansha confessed her feelings for me. When I was setting the camera on the flower rack, I heard Akansha's yelling sound. I thought I was caught. But to my luckiness, she didn't see what I was doing, all thanks to my height. It was the night I planned to sleep with her. But I was shocked to my core to know that Akansha is still a virgin. And I just couldn't do it even though she herself offered it. And to the top of that, she said that she loves me. I still have no idea of how to reciprocate her feelings. She looked so pure and innocent to my eyes. The only thought that came to my mind was that I was not good enough for her.

First, I don't believe in love.

Second, she is a virgin whereas I am not!

Third, I won't be able to give the love she deserves.

Fourth, she is so pure and innocent unlike me.

Fifth, she has a kind heart but I am far away from that.

Sixth, Akansha and I are two different characters.

Seventh. my world and her world are so different.

I can keep on listing a big list of reasons why I and Akansha can't be together. But I must accept that I am happy when I am with her. She makes me feel comfortable. The only good thing i got out of this stupid dare is that I started to speak with Akansha. If it was not for the dare, I would have not spoken with her and we both would have been enemies even now. But that would have been fun too.

I just edited a small video of that night in an angle view where we were making out. This will fool Jacqueline.

I then uploaded the video on my phone and walked down to see Jacqueline sitting on the sofa with her hands crossed. I am glad that she didn't come up. Even if she had come up, she knew that she shouldn't enter my room.

"Here it is", I said, showing my phone. She took my phone in her hands and looked at the video intently.

"Did you allow her to enter your bedroom? "

I can clearly understand whom she is referring to.

"I am not bound to answer you about my life ",I said sternly.

"Aww! Has the great Parth Saxton fallen for Akansha? ",she asked suddenly with an evil glint in her eyes.

What? "No! ",I shouted, "I don't do those love shits. "

"So, are you telling me that you were just playing with Akansha just to complete the dare? "

"Yes ",I said. "I heard that Akansha loves you. Is that true? ",she asked me, flashing her fake eyelashes.

"I am not Akansha to answer you. You need to ask her about it ",I said coldly.

"Do you know how many people's hearts you have broken before? "

"I made myself clear with them that there won't be any emotions attached with what I was doing. If they grow feelings for me, I can't do anything as I have already warned them ",I said with a straight face.

"Then why are you speaking with Akansha differently? Why are you not treating her like others? What black magic did she do on you? Why don't you find me interesting? Am I not attractive to your eyes? ",she asked, coming closer, leaning on me.

"Move. away. from. me ",I gritted my teeth and pushed her off since she didn't move an inch away from me.

"Why did you give permission for her alone to enter your room? ",she asked desperately.

This girl is really insane! "It's none of your business. And I don't love her ",I said to her.

"Don't worry Parth! I know for sure that you will get bored of her soon and come to me ",she said with a smirk on her face and kissed me on my lips. It didn't even last for a half second as I pushed her roughly away from me causing her to fall on the floor.

"Get out of my house right now ",I said, gritting my teeth and walked up to my room.

I then wore the punching gloves and hit the punching bag continuously, fiercely releasing my anger out. I don't know how long I was hitting the bag. But then, Akansha's face suddenly entered my mind, abruptly causing me to stop hitting the bag and I felt a calm, warm feeling in my heart.

I then removed the gloves and fell flat on the bed closing my eyes due to tiredness. The last thought was of Akansha's face before I drifted to sleep.

I opened my eyes to see myself on my bed. I looked at the clock to see the time was past five. Did I sleep that long? Today's events rushed to my mind. I had even skipped lunch. Let me just go and eat something.

I walked down to see my phone being placed on the sofa. I guess I would have shown the video to Jacqueline and kept the phone there. I opened my phone to see missed calls from Theo, Andy and Kryz. There were messages asking where I was. I messaged Theo and Andy that I dozed off.

Theo's reply came the next moment with not so good words. He really has lost his mind! I chuckled, imagining Theo scolding me face to face. 

But let me tell the truth that Theo looks terrific when he needs to be.

'I think you lost your mind ',I sent him a message.

In return, his message was covered with so many beautiful, heart-warming awful words. But then there was a message of Theo speaking about Akansha.

Oh shit! Didn't I tell Akansha that I will see her after? How did I sleep forgetting about it? Akansha must be in the Green World now. Let me eat something from there and speak with Akansha in person. Before that, I need to freshen up. With those thoughts in my mind, I walked inside the bathroom with a towel in my hand.

AKANSHA POV:

It's my first class after lunch but still there is not even a single message from Parth. I am glad that Neil is with me as a moral support to cheer me up. I don't know how but whenever I am sad, he comes to the spot to cheer me up.

I saw Bella and Emma coming inside the class. But Jacqueline was nowhere to be seen, making me a little anxious. Bella and Emma gave a smug look when they noticed me but they just walked to their places and sat down.

At that time, my phone pinged with some message. It was an unknown number. But who is it? So, I opened the message to see an image inside it. What. the. fuck? The image was of Parth and Jacqueline kissing. I noticed that these were the clothes they had worn today. The surrounding of that pic is very familiar to me. It's Parth's house. This pic made it clear that Jacqueline is with Parth at his house. 'Don't read too much into his actions. If he gets bored, he moves to next', a message was attached to that making me sure that this was Jacqueline's number

Seeing my face, I felt Neil shake me. I just gave my phone to him and just kept mum not knowing what to say. I don't know how I should react to this. I totally have no idea. I don't know where my relationship stands with Parth.

"Akansha ",I heard Neil whisper beside me. I looked at him and gave him a faint smile. "I am fine ",I said even though I was not. I guess Neil too saw my fake words but he just nodded his head in return giving me space and privacy to come to terms with this news. And I am glad he left the topic too.

I took my phone from his hands and touched Parth's contact. Should I call him? I can just try to call him, right? There is nothing wrong with that! So, I pressed the call symbol and the call connected. It kept ringing and ringing but no one answered the call. I then opened the message box in confusion whether to drop a message or not. But my hands typed on the screen 'Where are you Parthu?' and my fingers clicked on the sent button on its own accord.

"Why are you so disturbed today? ", Sophia called me, waking me from my thoughts.

"What did you say Sophie? ",I asked her since I didn't register her words when she spoke with me.

"You looked so distracted today. What happened, Kanz? ",she asked me.

"Um.. it's just college work; I am a little stressed ",I said. It was a partial truth too since this year of college life is coming near bringing in a load of work. Speaking of work, Parth and I used to study together and do our work and assignments together. You can ask him any kind of doubt related to that topic; he will explain it very clearly more than the teachers. See! Didn't you make up your mind not to think about him just now. This shows that you are really fucked up because of him.

"There! You are distracted again ",Sophia said, shaking me.

"I am sorry ",I said truthfully.

"That's not a problem. You just go home and rest ",Sophia suggested.

"That's so sweet of you. But I shall help you. I am not that tired ",I said with a smile and walked out to do my work as the break time of mine got over.

I walked towards a table. "What do you like to have? ",I asked politely.

"You ",I heard. This voice! I looked at the customer to see Parth looking at me with an amused face.

I expected me to be angry at him and shout at him. But nothing sort of that thing happened much to my own surprise.

"There is nothing like 'you' in this restaurant. Do you want anything else sir? ",I instead asked him politely.

"Kansha ",Parth called me.

"Wow! So you remember my name. That's great! ",I said sarcastically. "Let me bring your filter coffee and Black Forest pastry cake, sir ",I added and moved away from him before he could speak a word.

I need some time to digest that Parth has finally come to see me. Even though I am angry at him, I am glad that he came to see me. But did he just simply come here to get his usual filter coffee and Black Forest pastry cake.

"Here is your order sir ",I said, placing his snack on the table.

"Do you need anything else, sir? ",I asked him.

"Yes. I need time to speak with my Kansha ",he said, staring at me.

Those eyes! It has some kind of magic to attract me like this!

"She is angry at you. She needs space ",I replied to him.

"Is this space enough for her? ",Parth asked, moving a little creating a small space to sit.

My lips tried to curve up but I somehow controlled it. Um... But Parth noticed my reaction keenly, causing him to smile at me.

At that time, the door opened and a pair of customers sat down making me move away from Parth. And Parth made a sad face as I walked past him.

I felt a pair of eyes staring at me intensely while doing my work. But I didn't even dare to look in that direction.

"Bye Sophie! See you tomorrow ",I said and hugged her and walked towards the exit.

I saw Parth leaning on the car waiting for me, with his hands on his pockets causing him to look like a male model.

I just ignored him and started walking my way towards home. I would have taken only two steps when I felt a hand grabbing me by my waist and in the next second, I was on Parth's shoulders; the world looked upside to my eyes.

"Parth ",I shouted. "What are you doing? Drop me down ",I ordered him.

He made me sit in his car and put on the seatbelt and closed the door. He then started the car after putting on his own seatbelt.

"Where are we going? "

"I skipped my lunch and fell asleep. So, I am hungry. Let's go to a fine restaurant. "

"You could have ordered something more from Green World, right? ",I asked him, confused.

"How can I miss a chance of taking you to a diner? ",Parth asked with a cute, innocent face.

"You are unbelievable. You are practically kidnapping me ",I huffed.

"I just thought of a beautiful atmosphere to speak with you. "

"Like seriously?!! When someone is angry, you should calm them down. You should not go somewhere to fill up your stomach. If it was someone else, they would have bitten you by now. Or run far, far away from you ",I said angrily.

"I know that I shouldn't say this now. But I can't control it anymore. "

"What's it? ",I asked him, thinking that he is going to apologize for coming late.

"You look cute when you are angry ",he said with a chuckle.

I glared at him. "You? ",I shouted.

"Yes, me? What? ",he asked me with an innocent face which is totally fake!!

"By the way, I am going to a restaurant to boost up my energy to reduce your anger. "

"I am feeling like I am the one at the wrong. You are really worse at asking apologies ",I said, not able to control my laugh.

"Finally!! My Kansha laughed ",Parth said with a smile.

"I am still angry at you. I just laughed as there is a proverb which says 'Laughter is the best medicine ' ",I quoted the proverb.

"Where were you? ",I asked him.

"I went to my house ",Parth answered.

"With whom? ",I asked him directly not to beat around the bush.

Parth looked a little taken aback by my forward question.

"Did you bunk the class with Jacqueline? ",I asked him as the image sent by Jacqueline flashed on my mind, making me feel irritated.

Since he didn't speak a word, I took my phone out and showed him the pic which Jacqueline sent me before.

Parth put the brake suddenly causing me to jerk forward. Thank goodness that Parth made me wear a seatbelt or else I would have flown with this sudden break.

"Are you okay Kansha? ",I heard Parth's concerned voice beside me.

"Don't change the topic. Tell me whether you bunked the classes with Jacqueline? ",I asked him sternly.

After a few moments of silence, "Yes ",I heard Parth's whisper. Even though I knew it, it still hurt to hear it from Parth.
