I live to break cliches and stereotypes. And when I'm not completely breaking them, I twist it around so much that you wouldn't recognise it until I point it out. ;)

I want to keep this book lighthearted, short & sweet. I know the theme of anonymous letters/secret admirers are pretty common and maybe even overused right now.

But I give you my word that I will give you as unique a story as I can.

I also want to use this book as an attempt to break the "all blondes with blue eyes who've had their fair share of dates are bimbos just desperate for a guy" stereotype

and also the "nerdy guys are under-confident as heck and are the personification of cinnamon rolls" stereotype

and the "popular guys are undisciplined and can't control their sexual urges and have no humility whatsover" stereotype.

Oh, oh, and the "all popular people rise to their social ranks by not being able to keep it in their pants every time a breathing, moving thing walks past them" stereotype.

I might not go heavily into those themes because I want this to be a fun, sweet read rather than a deep, shake-you-to-your-bones one but I'd weave them throughout the entire book in a subtle manner and have my characters deal with the consequences of the stereotype they're classified under.

Well then. I do hope you enjoy the story and leave your feedback/thoughts in the comments =)

Stay blessed <3 and always remember that being a romantic sap is nothing to be ashamed of and it does not define your strength as a woman. I, for one, would like to believe in the notion of love and won't apologise for it.

Much love

♠ WARNINGS ♠

>>while this story is set in the US, please keep in my mind that the spellings I use in my writing are British because that's the curriculum I follow. (So expect a lot of 'ou' rather than just an 'o' and the use of 's' rather than 'z')

>>Also, this is a first draft and supposed to be a short story, so chapter lengths are usually around 350 words, but sometimes (and this is more towards the end) 700 words.

>>if I feel like categorising this book under Short Story isn't all that suitable anymore, I'll probably change the genre to ChikLit or whatever I deem most appropriate. (The story's still pretty short though in my opinion)

>>please don't complain about not having every single detail about a character's backstory. Like I said, I wrote this with the intention of it being a SS. Its all about what's happening now, within these pages.
