Yukio and Rin sat at a nearby park on the bench staring off into the distance.
"You never answered my question," Rin commented.

"I was busy with important matters and had to take a leave of absence for a brief period of time," Yukio responded.

"You mean business with Bell?"

Yukio looked at Ciel quizzically. "Actually, Yes. How did you know?"

Rin stiffened and laughed sheepishly. "Oh, you know...Um...Sadao told me!" he said quickly.

"So you met him too," Yukio said.

"Yeah, I did,"

"How much did he tell you about Bell?" Yukio asked.

"Well, they're an organization that helps orphaned children right? I'm surprised that you're a member of something like that. I mean, on top of all the things you've got to do, you're out there helping children. I'm glad your doing things like that though,"

Yukio was silent for a moment. "You wouldn't have happened to be at a party recently, have you?"

Rin gulped. "Nope! Not me, What makes you think that?!"

"No reason."

There was an awkward silence that fell over the two.

"Do you know what happened to Shiemi? I've been told She's left the Academy. I wonder where she went," Rin said, Anxious to get rid of the awkwardness,

"She's...in a better place," Yukio said moments later.

Rin glanced at Yukio with a confused look on his face. "What do you mean?"

Yukio stood up and Rin did as Well. "Do you feel that?" Yukio asked, drawing his gun.

"No, What am I suppose to-"

The ground rumbled deeply, shaking Rin and Yukio. There was a sudden cold gust of wind out of nowhere.

"Demons," Yukio muttered.

"They must be nearby," Rin said, pulling out the karakura sword.

"Let's go," Yukio said, walking away from the park. Rin followed after Yukio, with a bad feeling in his stomach.
