Whether this is the first time you've heard this, or the millionth, you need to know.

God the Father loves you.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).

How anyone, let alone God Himself, could love you and me enough to sacrifice His beloved Child is beyond what I can comprehend. But it's true.

And it's not just that.This was a joint effort. God the Son loves you too.

"By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers" (1 John 3:16).

But it doesn't end there. God the Holy Spirit seals those who accept Christ's sacrifice until they come into the fulfillment of their salvation.

"[A]nd hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us" (Romans 5:5).

What does that mean, loved ones?

If you have not yet accepted Christ's sacrifice, know that the only way you are going to Hell is over His dead body. So accept that sacrifice, and be raised to new life with Him. Can you not accept His love?

And if you have accepted that glorious love, remember that no matter what, you cannot out-sin a loving God. You may break His heart, but He will not break His covenant to you. How can you not give back everything to the One Who gave it all to you?
