"Emily!!!! You open the door right now..." Jodi threatened from the other side of my door.  I smirked...

"Or what?"  I dared. A very aggravated grunt came from the other side of the door. I laughed...she was all bark no bite. I went to my closet and started to pick out my outfit.

Plunk!!!

I spun around eyes widened as  jodi layed on the floor glaring at me from under my open window. and yes I do live on the 2nd story.

"Since when did you move your dresser" she laughed.

"Since you helped me move it?" I raised my eyebrow. Jodis eyes widened.

" Oh.... Now I remember. " I am pretty sure the fall detached something in her head. I laughed.. Grabbing my sides I hit the floor with my knees. I rolled over on my back. And continued laughing. Jodi just stared for a minute before she joined me. Resting her arm on my shoulder while her other arm was around her stomach. This didn't last very long before we had to stop on account of humans need air to breath. I stood up and looked at Jodis outfit.

She was in back ripped jeans. With two holes right above her right knee. With a gray v-neck t-shirt that said "bite me... But this country girl bites back" and a pair of converse.

Her hair was in a messy braid with a little piece of Dark hair framing her perfect face. Her ball cap was the same one we always would wear when we were together. "I'm with stupid" was written in light pink. Across the front of the black hat. Her makeup consisted of light pink lip gloss and some light tan eyeshadow.

Her eyes widened. "What are you wearing!!!" She yelled. I looked down...

"umm.. my chores clothes? I haven't started yet." I shrugged.

"What!!! We leave in" she looked at her watch. "23 minutes!!! Wait 22!!!" I chuckled at her way of thinking...

she went to my bed and grabbed my bag we got from shopping. She pulled out the pink shirt from earlier. Went over to my dresser and started rummaging through the drawers. I sat on the bed. I couldn't stop her if I wanted to and I don't. If I picked out my outfit I would be wearing the clothes I had on.  It took her less than 30 seconds.

"Aha!!!" she yanked out a pair of jeans with crosses on the back pockets. Going to the next drawer. She pulled out a black, thick strapped tank top.

"Done" she chirped and laid the outfit on my bed. I have to admit she knew what she was doing. It looked classy yet country at the same time. I grabbed it and ran to my bathroom that was connected my room. I put on the pants and the tank and left the shirt un-buttoned.

I walked out of the bathroom and walked in front of her, and turned slowly. Want to give her a good look. She sat on my bed one hands on her knees.

"Hmmmm....something's not right. " she said while studying me.

I took of the pink shirt and tied it around my waist.

"That's it!!" she cried she jumped off the bed and walked over to me . Grabbing my wrist he pulled my over to my desk. I sat in the chair as she grabbed my hairbrush from the bathroom. After 5minutes of yanking and pulling. My hair was now in a messy braid just like hers. I placed my hat on top of my head and applied some light lipstick. With a tad bit of mascara we were out the door heading towards the party in Jodis pick-up.

We pulled up to the house and I was immediately regretting it. The music was blasting out the house. The house was out in the middle of no where and I am pretty sure Tyler parents wern't home.

"Yay where here now let's go home!!" I said. She sent shook her hard at me as she stepped out of pick up. "Hey I was just kidding."

No you aren't.

She wants to stay.

No she doesn't.

Yah she does..Hunter will be here.

She's staying.

Agreeing with the voices in my head. I hoped out of the truck and ran to catch up with jodi who was now knocking at the door. We waited. Nothing happened. We knocked again. Nope nothing happened. The music must be to loud. I grabbed the door knob tried to push the door open but it felt stuck. With a huge shove i pushed it open. *smack*

To my surprise I made contact with something on the other side of the door. My eyes widened as I saw what I had just smacked with the door.

"Tyler!!" I yelled as I got down on the floor and stared at his face e was out cold. " dadgumit!! " I muttered as I sat next to him... " What do I do?!?! " I looked up a jodi.

She sat there staring at him. Clearly in shock. I looked around. No one seemed to notice the guy laying on the floor unoncious. Dadgum drunk people.  A sigh of relief passed through my body as Dylan walked over to us. Dylan was Tyler younger brother. He was the same age as me. And jodi.

His eyes widened as he looked at tyler. Then a smirk played his lips. He pulled out his phone and snapped a picture before I had could move away.

"My name is dylan. This is the first time he has ever been knocked out by a girl." Oh I forgot Tyler is not only the best football players but he also is a pretty good boxer. Another thing that makes him the most popular boy in our school.

Jodi laughed from behind him. He looked over at her a smiled. Turning back to me he added. "We should get him up to his room and try to wake him up. I nodded still a little afraid of what just happened. He bent over and pulled him up and flung him over his shoulder.

" come on" he said over his shoulder. I nodded then realized he wasn't looking at me.

"O...ok." I stuttered. Grabbing Jodis hand I followed him up the stairs. he laid him out on what I guess was his bed.

"He is going to have a kick out of this when he wakes up." He said more to himself then anyone else.

Dylan looked at up at us. Scratching the back of his neck. "You guys don't have to stay here. He will wake up eventually but for now it might be best if you guys leave." I nodded and turned to leave but jodi grabbed my arm.

"But what if he wakes up? " she asked while Raising one eyebrow.

"I will call you add soon as that happens." He answered. "He going to be a little...out of sorts when he wakes up so it might be best if you guys go." 

"Ok" we both agreed.

"My number i--" jodi started out but was cut off by dylan.

"I know your number." He said a little to quickly.

" Huh.....how? " she asked.

"Well I....you know what it's not important but for now let's just say I have it ok...?"  We nodded before exiting the room.

We made our way down the steps and into the living room with was set up as a dance floor of was a fairly big room with a disco ball hanging from the ceiling. Their was a couch over by the wall that someone had already passed out on.

I felt someone nudge my arm. I jumped and pulled up my first ready to attach. Once I turned I came face to face with Alex's eyes.

"Woah! Hold up girl." He pulled my hands down back to my side. I smiled. I looked over his shoulder the twins and Hunter stood behind him. me and Jodi gave them all a wave.

"Ladies and cowboys!!!" The dj yelled. "Ok now it's time for the dance off!!! The sign up sheet is over their. you enter you or yours or a friends name and we will draw 10 out of the hat to compete. Their will be teams aloud!!! "

"we got this" dusty said as he walked over and signed up all of the boys names. If they get pick I swear this will be the worst dance off ever.

I backed up against the bar that connected to kitchen to the living room and pulled myself up on top of it. "Are you going to sign up?" Hunter asked walking up and over to where I was at.

"Nope" I answered. Poping my p'.

"Ok then" Hunter walked off to who knows where. At the time I was way more interested in the back yard I walked out the back and took in my surroundings. Their was a giant oak tree, a pool, and a tall,white fence surrounding the yard. I walked back inside feeling uneasy without jodi there. I looked me and jodis arms just in time for them to draw a name out of the hat.

"Alex, shadz, dusty, and hunter!!!"  The dj said glancing around The room.

The boys let out a loud woop..well most of them hunter just look like he was about to puke... before walking out on the stage. I face palmed myself. This is going to be bad...like I might not be related to them for a week bad. Wait..I grabbed my phone and started videoing...this payback is now in session.  the song "dynamite" came blasting through the speakers. The boys danced their hearts out.

Once the boys were done i gave them each a high five as they came back from the stage.

"You guys did great!!" I said....I lied....big time....

"Nice job guys" jodi sent a wink their way.

"Jodi and emily!!!" the dj yelled. I froze my face went white. Completely drained of color. But on the other hand. Jodi jumped up and down.

"Over here" she yelled. I glanced at hunter. he was trying not to laugh...why that little...I am going to get him for this.

Then I had an idea. I whispered to jodi and she agreed. She ran over to the dj and put in out song. We took our places in the floor as the music started up. "She's country" came though the speakers and we started off with an old fashion square dance that we had learned in 5 th grade. We had done the dance so many times that I knew it by heart.

Toe. heel. Toe. Heel. Slide. Spin.

The moves went flowing through my head. Me and Jodi kept in sinc and moves with the song. I glanced over at the boys.

To say they where surprised was in under statement. Their jaws went all the way down to their knees. I laughed at the sight of the poor boys..suckers. Once the song ended we walked of the stage over to the boys.

"Didnt your mama's ever tell you not to stare?" Jodi asked with a smirk on her face.

"Never underestimate a girl guys you will always get your butt beat...always. " I reminded them I small smirk on my lips. Hunter opens his mount then shut it. Then opens it again.

"I'm sorry but how did you...." He pointed in between me and jodi. "Do that."

"Like we would tell you measly peasants. " I smiled and walked off toward the back yard pulling jodi with me.

Ding!!

Jodi's phone went off. She pulled it out of the pocket.  I leaned over her shoulder and read the text.

Dylan: he just woke up.

Ding!!!

dylan: He wants to meet the girl who knocked  him out

"Well let's go" she mumbled. i nodded and turned to go back to the car.

"No dumbell. Let's go see tyler. Not let's go home." I rolled my eyes and let out a long sigh. As she pulled me up to the room.

This time when we knocked we waited till the door opened. Just to be safe. Not that I wouldn't want to hit Tyler in the head with the door again.

Tyler eyes widened. "You knocked me out?" He pointed to jodi. she laughed As I stepped up.

"Nope that was me"  I said. With a small smirk on my face and tilted to my head to the side a little.

"y..you? ....man I havn't been that knocked out that bad in a while." He said while running his hand through his hair and exhaling. Jodi sighed. But I just rolled my eyes.

I am not stupid enough to fall for this player.

But he does have nice hair...

But he's a player!!!

But look at that hair!!!

No.

I shuddered. Tyler looked up at me and smirked. "your pretty. I wouldn't mind you hitting me again."

Wait...What?!?!  I took a step back.   "Um...e-ex-excuse  m..me ?" I stuttered. What the heck did he mean by that.

"Nothing." He shrugged. That bump must have done something to his head.

Good thing his hair is ok...

Can we shut up about the hair!!

But look at i-

Stop.

Fine...

"Excuse me but are you ok?" I stepped closer to him. "orr are you always like this? " I glanced at dylan. To see if he was paying any attention, But he was just starting at jodi.

"Aww do you want me to say it again so you can hear it in my husky voice?" Tylers smirked got bigger as he wiggled his eyebrows up and down.

"No" I stated. I glared at him. Cocking my hip out to the side and putting one perfect fist on it.  His smirk was still on his face but his eyes showed that he was thinking. They showed anger, hurt, disappointment, and most of all just evil...

I looked at Jodi and she smiled sweetly. Now if you look at her she looks total y cool but I didn't look at her face I looked down at her hands. 3 fingers. We have our own little code we do with our hand that we used to use in case our brothers bought us doing something evil....I will explain later...

I nodded at her and turned back to tyler. "I am sorry but we have to go I promised my dad I would be home soon." I lied again. ..but this was worth it...

"Wait" Tyler jumped off the bed and walked over to me. "You got to hit me in the head with a door and knocked me out cold. I think you owe me something." He stepped closer to me and touched the side of my face.

I backed up from his touch. No one has the right to lay a hand on any girl of she didn't say he could. And in this case he didn't.

A slight but a disappointment flashed though his eyes again. But he quickly recovered. "Let me take you out...in a date...after all you did hit me with a door."

i knew exactly what he was doing. I blushed and stepped closer to him...closing the gap between our faces. I side glanced at Jodi and Dylan just in time to see their jaws hit the ground. I stepped closer to tyler. And stroked the side of his face with my hand. Tyler smiled.

"Well then..." i started. "Next time watch when someone opens up the door."

I smiled Evily as I backed up and walked out the door. I stepped outside and hopped into Jodis truck. She quickly followed. she gave me a high five and turned on the car and put it in gear.

I pulled out my phone and told Alex that we where headed home. Jodi looked over at me And started laughing.

"What's so funny" I asked.

"We just had the best time we will ever have at a party and not one of us had one single drink" she laughed again.  I realized she was right. The car exploded with laughter the whole way home.
