t-claw's pov

We soon arrived to the town in which our crows led us. And informing us that in this town young girls go missing at night. We walked through the town seeking out information about the disappearances of the young girls. Tanjiro stopped me when we saw a tired, depressed, and broken man walking by us. Tanjiro looked at me and I nodded, knowing that this is who we are looking for. We went after the guy and finally stopped him. Once we got his attention tanjiro explained that we are here to help and introduced himself and me. The man now known as Kazumi had side eyed me  thinking I would be little to no help at all. It was normal for people to think this, it doesn't bother me as much when a civilian does it. However when a demon or fellow slayer does it, it angers me to the core because they think and see me as weak and unfit to be a demon slayer. Soon night falls over the town and tanjiro began sniffing the air on ground while I stood on a rooftop trying to sense the demon's aura and after a few turns I sensed it's presence.  I hopped down to tanjiro and signed that the demon was underground and once tanjiro found the spot where he smelled it was strongest he stabbed the ground with his niterin sword. A black puddle of water came up and tanjiro hopped in worrying me and Kazumi a bit, but he hopped out with an unconscious girl in his arms. " Can you hold her while we take care of this?" tanjiro asked while handing Kazumi the girl. As soon as tanjiro placed the girl in Kazumi's arms a demon popped up from the black water his voice sounding gruff. " What are you doing? If I don't  eat her now she will go stale!" The demon shouted angrily. Another puddle formed and a similar looking demon popped out but his voice was more sophisticated sounding. " Relax other me, we have eaten plenty of young girls in this area. " The sophisticating one said unbothered.  "so they are the same demon. I see only two but I sense three. So they are three of the same. But do we slay the original one or all three?"  I thought to myself.  Then they disappeared clearly going to attack  Kazumi and the unconscious girl. I slashed any of them that appeared in front or to the left side, while tanjiro defends behind and to the right. I heard nezuko's box open and looked to see nezuko kicking the third demon causing his head to spin and the demon grinded his teeth making a screeching sound and went under the black water again before nezuko could land a stomp. " Nezuko! Come here!" tanjiro called out to his demon sister. She relaxed and turned and ran to tanjiro one of them tries to grab nezuko but she jumps over him and makes it back to tanjiro. Kazumi looks confused and slightly frightened by nezuko while nezuko reassures him by gently cupping his and the knocked out girl's face. Kazumi had then physically relaxed and tanjiro told me and nezuko his plan. He must have smelled my discomfort and worriedness in his plan and he reassured me that he will be fine and that he will get rid of the two down below but he wants us to keep the one above alive so he can question him. I nodded with nezuko and Alex hopped out to help us and I told him the plan. When a black puddle formed again he hopped in it taking him where the sophisticated one and the teeth grinding one resided while me, nezuko and Alex defended Kazumi and the girl from the gruff sounding one. I was using water breathing so that way I don't hurt Kazumi due to how I have to defend and how little space there is here. I saw the another black puddle form signifying that tanjiro was on his way back to the surface. Right before the demon could land a harsh hit on nezuko tanjiro hopped out of the water and sliced his arms off causing the demon to fall backwards and land on his ass against a wall still armless. I checked on Kazumi and the girl while tanjiro questions the swamp demon. I set Alex's box down so he could crawl back in it. After he got in I picked up the box and I heard the swamp demon scream sounding... scared? I turned to see tanjiro cut the swamp demon's head off, and the demon turning to ash. I sighed relieved that the fight was over. I looked to see the sun was going to rise soon, and signed this to nezuko and she got in the box. After that tanjiro handed Kazumi something that caused him to feel sadder. Tanjiro talked to the guy and I walked over and stood next to tanjiro and nodded that what he was saying was true. Even if it hurts right now, the best thing you can do now is to be strong and brave for your loved ones. Even when they pass on. Kazumi grabbed on to tanjiro's haori and yelled. " What do either one of you know?! You both have never had this happen to either of you!?" he yelled slightly angry and desperate. Tanjiro smiled gently as me and him gently took his hand of tanjiro's haori and he had a look of shock and surprise on his face. We began walking away when I sensed that he now understood slightly. " I-i'm sorry! I shouldn't have said that! I am very sorry!" Kazumi exclaimed sounding genuinely sorry I waved and tanjiro yelled that we forgive him and that it was no worries, and that the girl was now his responsibility to get home safely. We got told by our crows that we had to head to a city where there was a demon rumored to be there. It took us a bit but we got there, I signed to tanjiro that I was hungry and we walked and found an udon vendor in a more quiet area of the city where it was less bright and noisy. Tanjiro got his first and when I got mine I saw that nezuko was out of her box and nodding off while sitting next to tanjiro. I began eating when tanjiro got up and zipped away, I would have gone after him but I decided that I would eat and watch over nezuko instead. I was very hungry and figured that he went to get something he saw earlier for his sister. I took Alex's box off my back, I guess he was still tired from fighting the swamp demons. I got more udon noodles and began my second bowl and finished it. Around my 6th bowl of noodles tanjiro came back and explained what was going on. I finished my noodles while tanjiro ate two whole bowls to make up for accidentally dropping his first bowl. I put Alex's box back on my back and while tanjiro finished the two bowls of udon I saw a person around our age's figure in the shadows I tensed up ready to fight the figure, when tanjiro walked over and signaled that the figure was the person that is going to take us to a place to rest a little bit before we venture on. " Come on we don't have time to waste, and did you know that both that girl and boy in the fox head's box are demons?" he said sounding irritated. I nodded confirming that we know. " Well hurry up then and bring that eyesore with you. " he stated rudely.  I at first thought he was talking about me since of my fox hide mask can look bad to some. But tanjiro began yelling and saying how nezuko isn't an eyesore and so on. He kept yelling all the way to the location, and while looking at nezuko and ranting about the muzzle he didn't see yushiro go through the wall. I grabbed his arm when he was holding on nezuko's arm and pulled them through the wall. " Hurry up, we don't want to keep lady tamayo waiting. " The boy spoke impatiently and walking ahead, I began walking with tanjiro and nezuko not too far behind. We reached the house and yushiro opened the door and said that he was here with the people she wanted to see. " I'm over here, please bring them here. " a soft feminine voice spoke calmly, peacefully. Unlike yushiro's voice which was hostile, rude and aggressive. Once we reached the area the voice came from we saw that it was a medical room where a lady was sleeping and a woman who I assume is lady tamayo is treated the lady's bleeding wound. I looked to tanjiro for an explanation and he signed that he would explain later, I nodded. Lady tamayo turned around and introduced herself as tamayo. I waved while tanjiro introduced himself, nezuko me and told her of my brother in his box. They began talking of things and anytime tanjiro said something yushiro deemed disrespectful he would hit tanjiro quite hard until tamayo told him not to hit him anymore. To which yushiro complied. " he must really respect lady tamayo very much. Although I guess it can't be helped, after all she is nice, calm, peaceful, doesn't immediately resort to violence when upset. But also that she had turned him into a demon with his consent. The complete opposite of muzan. "  I thought and was snapped out of it when tanjiro placed his hand on my shoulder. It seems yushiro left and it was now me, tanjiro, nezuko and tamayo. " I have a request if you both don't mind. " Tamayo began with yushiro back and handing me and tamayo tea and making tanjiro grab his own. I nodded urging her to continue, " If I could get a blood sample from your siblings, it would help make a cure to undo the demon blood. However the second part of the request might be a tad difficult as I will also need blood from the 12 kizuki and any demons that are close or have similar powers to muzan himself. Do you both think that you can do it?" she asked calmly. I nodded and tanjiro told her that we would. Once my tea was at drinking temp, I lifted up my mask enough to show my mouth and sipped the tea not realizing that yushiro and lady tamayo were looking at the reveled part of my face. Once I finished my tea and put the mask back down is when I looked at them only to see them quickly look away from me. Before I could sign anything a tamari flew in causing yushiro trying to protect lady tamayo, tanjiro protecting nezuko and me protecting my brother from the tamari, after a few minutes the destructive tamari was no longer in the now destroyed house. I looked out of the large hole that was left by the tamari and saw a demon with four arms in which both tamari are in her hands and she is accompanied by a male demon with eyes on his hands. The tamari demon began bouncing the two tamari off the ground and into her hands again. She was looking into the house her mouth moving, but I couldn't hear her as she wasn't loud and was far away, but I sensed that they are after tanjiro more so than me. Soon the tamari demon threw the tamari one at a time back into the house. " Lady tamayo!" yushiro shouted and went to defend lady tamayo when the tamari swerved out of his attack and smashed itself against yushiro's head. "Yushiro!" me and lady tamayo shouted. He may have been rude but he didn't deserve that. I stood up pissed at the tamari demon and tanjiro ran and stood next to me. I told him to go after the eye handed demon and that I would take care of the tamari demon. He noded and ran to the other demon. I unsheathed both of my swords and readied myself. " Total concentration draconic breathing.....6th form... DRAGON'S DANCE!!" I yelled moving rapidly evading her tamari and was about to slice her head when she used three of her arms and punched me, sending me back into the destroyed house. "t-claw!!" I heard a voice shout, I tried to keep me eyes open but I blacked out.

Tanjiro's pov

I heard miss tamayo yell out t-claw's name, before I could turn to look an arrow got me and sent me flying all over the place. I did get a glance at nezuko and Alex fighting the tamari demon. I returned to the task at hand and finally slayed the arrow demon. After he flung me around some more while he was decaying I heard a scream emitting from the tamari demon, once I fell I saw that it was the curse that miss tamayo spoke about. But before the curse killed her a dragon like force sliced her head off,  I looked to see it was.... t-claw?!

t-claw's pov

I sliced her head off with dragon slash. Once I did tamayo rushed over to check up on me. And to their surprise I had recovered quickly. I signed to them that transmorphers like me tend to have quicker recovery time if we train it, but doing so takes quite a bit of energy to do and in order to recover it we sleep, or if it's speed recovery we eat. Tanjiro was not in good shape so I picked him up and carried him in after he prayed for the tamari demon, I then placed tanjiro back on his feet after bringing him closer to the house. We walked down stairs to be greeted with tackle hugs from our siblings. Lady Tamayo fixed us up. " I have a question if you don't mind me asking. " we nodded  urging her to continue. " We have to move to a safer location as this one has been found, if either of you want we can take your siblings with us so that way they would be safe with us?" she asked genuine and concerned and caring all laced in her tone. Alex took my hand signifying that he wants to stay with me, nezuko doing the same to tanjiro. " We thank you for the offer, but we will decline. We promised our siblings that we will stick by their sides no matter what. " tanjiro politely denied the offer and smiled. After our siblings hugged lady tamayo and patted yushiro goodbye they got in their boxes and we took off. While tanjiro's crow was still crowing the location of our next mission we are walking down a path until. " PLEEEEEAAAASSSSSEEEE!!!" we heard a voice screlt out we looked to see where it was coming from to see a yellow blob or more so a guy with blond hair and a yellow haori with white triangles on it was making a girl uncomfortable. A adorable sparrow flew over to us and said that the boy was doing this a lot and stressing the poor sparrow out. I put my hand out but the sparrow got comfy on my shoulder relaxing. I told  to tanjiro to help the girl while I keep the sparrow calm, he nodded and handled the situation. As the blond yelled how he knew tanjiro I walked and stood next to tanjiro and signed that the blond was one of the five survivors from final selection, as I did this the boy looked at me in shock and surprise. "y-your... The fox hide masked boy from final selection!" The blond exclaimed grabbing my attention, I nodded confirming his that I am who he  exclaimed I was. After we calmed the blond down we got him to join us on our mission. After walking for a bit and introducing ourselves the blond now known as zenitsu agatsuma was now a friend to me and tanjiro. I heard zenitsu's stomach growl, I took out a rice ball and gave it to zenitsu for him to eat. " But what about you? What are you going to eat?" he asked unsure to accept it. I signaled that was fine and didn't need it. He decided to split it in half and gave me the other half. I accepted it and lifted my mask up a little to reveal my mouth and took a bite of the tasty rice ball. I didn't realize that both males were staring at me until I finished eating and pulled my mask down. And looked at them, only for them to look away from me. Weird. We continued to follow the path that led us into a more woodsy area on a mountain, when I sensed two young kids that are sad and scared. I immediately ran to where I sensed it causing tanjiro and zenitsu call out for me but I ignored them. Soon I got to the location and saw a house in which I sensed three demons and one young living human. I looked for the two others I sensed and found them and slowly, calmly, and peacefully walked to the two children now more clearly a girl and boy crying and holding eachother. I calmly got to their level and picked up a small twig and wrote out an introduction and wrote out that I am here to help and showed them zenitsu's sparrow to which they calmed down. "oh! So that's why you ran off!" tanjiro exclaimed calmly walking over and began talking to the kids while I walked and stood next to zenitsu and I looked at the house not realizing that me standing next to the blond made him slightly flustered. He told me how he can hear a faint drumming sounding from within the house. " it must be a demon's blood art. But the real question is, what does it do? And how does a drum tie into the demon blood art?"  I thought to myself. Tanjiro gently tapped my shoulder gaining my attention I turned to see him, and a scared looking zenitsu. Tanjiro tried getting zenitsu to come with us but after trying twice he got an intense look on his face and began walking to the house me following behind and zenitsu begging for tanjiro not to be mad at him and saying that he will go with us. I noticed that tanjiro didn't bring nezuko, but before I could sign to ask the two kids came after us and tanjiro explained why he didn't want them to leave the box behind I nodded and signaled that the box was also important to me too. While coming up with a plan zenitsu accidentally bumped into tanjiro and the room changed and he wasn't there. I looked into a room seeing if tanjiro was there but the room changed and now zenitsu was gone. I began opening doors and opened one in which I saw a boy wearing a boar hide mask, I sensed that he was going to run out so I quickly ran off and out the boar head's way. I then resumed my search. At some point I heard something that sounded like thunder breathing, I opened a door to see a sleeping but fighting stanced zenitsu and the young boy. The boy spotted me and ran and hugged me and telling me the situation that happened while I was looking for them. "AHH!!" I heard the now awake zenitsu scream from seeing the demon turning to ash and looked and saw me and assumed that I killed the demon, me not wanting to argue with the male just let it go. We were walking for a bit when the room changed and we began falling and we fell out of the house I was able to grab and protect the boy but I didn't grab zenitsu in time and he fell on his head and passed out. I was able to set the boy down and checked on him. He was slightly bleeding on the back of his head and I wrapped it. Soon zenitsu woke up and me and the boy explained what happened while doing that I sensed rapid footsteps and heard a faint voice screaming. I quickly got on guard in case it tries attacking me or the others. The door swung open to reveal the boar masked male I saw earlier, he looked around until his eyes met nezuko's box. I got in his view in a defensive stance ready to defend my friend's sister. The boar headed male looked momentarily shocked at me before trying to move around me, not wanting to injure him too badly I defended nezuko with water breathing while zenitsu had grabbed the box to protect nezuko from the male, unfortunately he must've also sensed my brother on my back and kept trying to get my brother and I have to keep on the defense. While doing so all of us didn't realize that tanjiro came out of the house to see me get knocked down and him kicking zenitsu to get him off the box, before the boar head could stab zenitsu and the box tanjiro punched the masked male in stomach. I was able to get up and check on zenitsu and help the young girl patch up zenitsu. I turned to see tanjiro punching the boar headed male, causing his mask  to fall off and reveal his feminine looking face. "THAT'S WHAT YOUR FACE LOOKS LIKE?!?!?!" zenitsu shouted very shocked. " You got a problem with my face?" The male asked in a intimidating voice causing the blond to hide behind me.   " No. In fact I think your face is very petite and fair-skinned and therefore attractive. " tanjiro stated pissing off the male. He kept trying to fight tanjiro and at some point the male did something that made tanjiro headbutt the male who then proceeded with a bit more back and forth and saying his name was inoske hashibira and fell down on the ground unconscious from how hard tanjiro headbutted inoske. Tanjiro feeling bad took of his haori and placed it under insoke's head while zenitsu used his to cover the male. We then proceeded to move the dead out of the house and put them into graves. And by we I mean everyone but inoske who is unconscious and zenitsu. While doing this zenitsu ran over scared and tried hiding behind the young girl, when inoske saw us he asked us what we are doing. Tanjiro explained and inoske questioned it at first until tanjiro told him that he didn't have to help and that everyone grieves differently which again set the male off and he helped. Soon mine and tanjiro's crows told us to head down the mountain and while starting to head down the boar masked male questioned what we are doing and tanjiro politely explains and he tagged along headbutting every tree while doing so. Once we got down tanjiro's crow gave the kid who had marchi blood a small pouch of wisteria incense to help keep demons away. We waved goodbye and our crows told us that they were going to lead us somewhere to relax. While walking through the forest tanjiro is carrying zenitsu on his back, inoske incorrectly pronouncing his name wrong and trying to fight me and tanjiro and is upset that I won't talk and zenitsu screaming for them to be quiet and we soon arrived at a door with a wisteria crest embedded on the door. This is the place.
