Damian didn't appear on RAW the next week, except a vignette of his win against Lesnar and asking who would dare challenge him at the next PPV, the Greatest Royal Rumble. Tonight it was confirmed that Roman Reigns will be facing Damian for the World Heavyweight Championship at the new PPV at Saudi Arabia in a Last Man Standing Match.

Many were a bit disappointed that Roman has once again entered the title picture, but they're also not excited to see both he and Damian against each other, especially after that, Roman will be going to Smackdown Live to face Samoa Joe at Backlash.

It was also confirmed that Undertaker will be facing facing Jeff Hardy in a Casket Match. It was a surprise as they haven't seen both legends against each other for years. And they can only imagine what kind of match these two will have.

(Yes I know Taker faced Rusev, but I think this would be a great opportunity for Hardy to face Undertaker one more time)

April 23

The show starts with a tribute to the Legend and Hall of Famer, Bruno Sanmartino, who passed away recently.

We then have Roman Reigns cutting a promo about his match against Damian at the Greatest Royal Rumble in a Last Man Standing Match. He spoke about how Damian is not like Brock Lesnar, and that Damian, despite not appearing on RAW last week, is more dedicated to his job, the company, the wrestling community, while Brock only cares about the money in his pockets and nothing more.

He said his respect for Damian grew when he called out Brock on his promo before his match against Strowman and his last promo before WrestleMania. But when it comes to matches like the one coming at the Greatest Royal Rumble, he hopes Damian gives his all like he did at Mania against Brock.

Then...

The crowd pops as the lights went out. Roman turns to the stage as he waits for his opponent to arrive.

Soon, the mist comes up as the crowd wait for their Champion to arrive. Soon, he comes out and the crowd sees his new attire. It was his normal ring inside inside a dark red coat with black boots and a black hat that resembles Clint Eastwood's own hat.

Damian is seen with the regular WHC on his waist while he holds his personified Title on his shoulder. He begins to make his way to the ring as Roman stares at him seriously.

Damian arrives at ringside as he stares at Reigns before turning and walking to the steps. He climbs and stood behind the post before raising him arm up while he holds his Championship with the other. The lights slowly came back on as he then brings his arm down and enters the ring. He stood a few feet away from Roman as the two stare at each other.

Damian's theme fades as the Big Dog and the Reaper stared at each other. Soon, Damian was given a mic as he removes the box and spoke.

Damian: Roman Reigns...the Juggernaut...*looks at him* the Big Dog in the Yard.

The crowd oohs as they knew Damian might not be too happy Roman defeated his father last year, claiming that the Yard is his now. Roman just stares at him, knowing that Damian's not pleased.

Damian: Last year, you and my father fought in a lackluster match. You defeated the Undertaker and claimed the yard as your own. As you know, I'm very not please with the fact you took my inheritance, which was rightfully mine...

The crowd oohs.

Damian: However...I will say that I admire your show of respect to me, my father, and everyone here despite the tantrum beating Lesnar gave you. You, in spite of Brock, are someone...I have more respect to.

The crowd cheers as Roman gives a nod.

Damian: Yet...respect is one thing...the match itself...is another. A Last Man Standing Match, for the World Heavyweight Championship, in a country we never thought, or want, to go to. So, answer me this, Roman. Are you willing go into this match, knowing what lies ahead, and try to take my title?

Roman: Yes. I am willing go down that road against you, Damian.

The crowd cheers as both stared at each other.

Damian: Good...because if you disappoint me...where my father made you Famous...I will make you Infamous.

The crowd oohs as Roman nods to him. Damian begins to leave as Roman looks on. Suddenly, he gets jumped from behind by-

Michael: Samoa Joe! Reigns' opponent at Backlash!

Corey: Who allowed him to be here?!

Joe starts assaulting Roman as the crowd was shocked to see the Submission Machine on RAW following his draft to Smackdown Live. Damian turns to the attack in the ring and scoffs. He goes to leave until he sets the titles down, takes off his coat and hat and goes back to the ring.

The crowd pops as Damian reenters the ring as Joe has the Coquina Clutch on Roman. Then, Damian hits a Big Boot on the back of Samoa Joe, knocking him down and letting Roman go free.

Damian then starts bringing Joe up as he grabs him by the throat. Damian goes for the Chokeslam but Joe gets out of it and leaves the ring and through the crowd. Damian and Roman look on with angry faces as Joe looks at them with a mocking smirk.

Damian glares at Joe before rolling his eyes and doing a Throat Slash, while sticking his tongue out, sending a message to The Submission Machine.

Joe's smirk was wiped off as he feels a sense of fear in his soul. Most probably because the one that beat Lesnar just sent a death threat to him.

Damian and Roman glared at Joe before staring at each other. The show cuts to commercial break.

*the next day*

Smackdown Live
April 24

We see after the Contract Signing between Asuka and Carmella for their match, after Mella's unsuccessful cash in for Asuka's Women's Championship, for their match at Backlash, we cut to a backstage interview with Samoa Joe.

He talks about how he will defeat Seth Rollins, The Miz, and Finn Balor, for the Intercontinental Championship.

Samoa Joe: And after that, I'm gonna sit back and watch Roman Reigns get bodied by Damian Calaway where the last man standing wins. And if Roman happens to survive and wins the World Heavyweight Title...at Backlash...I'll-

The screen cuts to a VHS effect into some darkness. Soon..

The crowd lets out a huge pop as Damian glares at the camera.

Damian: Joe...you made a big mistake coming to my home unannounced. You think that you can take the World Heavyweight Title if Roman Reigns managed to defeat me at the Greatest Royal Rumble? You're wrong, boy. Next time you come to my show, I'll make sure you experience the same way Tyson Kidd had when you ended his career.

The crowd oohs loudly.

Damian: You think you can come out there, sending a message across of Roman, when you should stay out of it, like that no good slow fat bitch that you are, and hope I don't have to smack you like Kevin Nash did years ago to set you scared straight.

The crowd oohs even louder.

Damian: Try to ruin my match, Joe.

Damian then pulls out chain and yanks it across.

Damian: I'll be ready to make you bleed. *eyes rolls back*

Soon, the scene cuts away.

*much later*

Kanako: *pouts* Do you have to go to Saudi Arabia?

Damian is seen getting ready for his trip to SA for the Greatest Royal Rumble. Unfortunately, women like Kanako are not allowed, due to the country's strict and mysogonistic views on females.

Damian: I'm not happy, either, Kanako. And neither are Dad and everyone else. But, we have a job to do and that's to wrestle wherever we go.

Kanako: True. But...I don't like it.

Damian: Me neither. I rather watch every episode of Total Divas than going over there.

Kanako scoffs as she she tries to hide her laughter. Damian gave a small smile as he finished packing.

Damian: We'll I need to go.

Kanako: Okay. Take care, Damian.

Damian looks at Kanako, seeing how she's still upset he'll won't come until after the show. He then sighs as he kneels over and rest his arms on her shoulders.

Damian: Hey. Cheer up. I won't be gone for too long.  I promise you. Okay?

Damian pats her on the cheek as she gave a smile and a nod.

Damian: Good. See you when I come back, Kanako.

Kanako: Okay, Damian.

Damian leaves as Kanako watches him leave. She then puts her hand on her cheek he patted and blushed.

Kanako: He didn't want me to feel sad...that's very sweet of him.

*with Damian*

Damian is seen with the other superstars getting ready to fly off to Saudi Arabia. Mark was with him as he looks at him.

Mark: You okay, son?

Damian: What?

Mark: You don't look too pleased about this.

Damian: Would you?

Mark: Nope. But you seemed more agitated.

Damian: *sighs* Kanako didn't want me to go.

Mark: Really? Well, neither did Michelle, so I can understand.

Damian: Not just that. I...tried my best to make her cheer up.

Mark: What? Wow. That's pretty nice of you, Damian.

Damian: I'm surprised as well. I never tried to comfort someone. I just...well-

Mark: Act like an asshole who's brutally honest?

Damian: Yeah that.

Mark: I think you might have something with her than you normally would think.

Damian: What? Nah. That's BS. Kanako and I are just friends. Sure, she's cute and sweet and I do like to talk with her but-

Damian smacks his mouth as his father the other superstars look at him in surprise/confusion/teasing, mostly from Mark. Damian looks at them, his face red in embarrassment before having his head down to hide his face.

Mark: *chuckles as he pats his son on the back* Take as much time as you want, son. You'll get to have a new girl for you.

Damian: *gritting his teeth* Shut the fuck up, dad. Lets just go.

Mark laughs as they all begin to leave.
