Chapter - 24

"Are there any peanuts in the food?" he asked the servants and they told him that the princess liked it so they put it in every dish. Princess Adira asked him if there was any problem and he told her that the Highness can't eat royal peanuts. "We are so sorry, we don't know about this. Let me arrange food without peanuts".

"No, it's okay. I am not that hungry, you guys eat", said Flora and Dragon signed Mr Blurry to bring the bottle.

"Wait, Isn't it ...?" Flora was surprised to see the anti-allergic medicine with him and he told her that last time he took it from Leo and made sure to carry it everywhere in case. She gets happy as now she can eat without any issues. Adira was curious to see them so close and asked them if they were dating as they didn't seem like just friends. Flora choked on her food with her sudden question, Dragon smiled and offered her water and patted her back. "Yes, we are not just friends". Flora quickly looked at him. "We are family, that's why we are close", he said. She gets relieved as she can't expect another confession from the same genes.

Flora asked her if she is single. Adira told her that according to their planet's tradition, they can't marry within their planet or galaxy. So she is still single as she never leaves her planet. 

"I give it a thought. You should not come to Drake Galaxy as it earlier kicked you out and insulted you. So better to go to the Andromeda galaxy and show them that they lost a gem", said Dragon. Flora understood why he said that and smiled. She agreed with him and told Neil to complete the formalities and welcome the pirate planet to the family.

When things were done, both of them left the planet in their aircraft. Dragon asked her where she was going earlier and she told him that she was coming to Drake Galaxy to meet him and told him about the mission chief assigned her. They both reached the Drake planet and the first thing she did after landing was to tease him about Princess Adira.

"You are something. I thought it would be difficult to find a partner for you but I guess it's already done", said Flora while making fun of him.

"I don't know what you are talking about. I just did what is good for the princ-i mean pirate planet".

"What- what- what did you just say? Princess? Woah! You overstepped my expectations, Dragon."

Dragon was done with her so he immediately ran to his room to avoid her teasing. She smiled after seeing him getting shy. She asked Neil to find every detail of Princess Adira for her.

On Shadow Galaxy, both Dark and Lucy were all in lovey-dovey zones. They get the invitation for universal link-up and are preparing for it. Snow and Leo also get their invitations. Flora was in her room in Drake Palace when Neil came to give her an invitation to the universal link-up. She asked him about the thing she said to find. He told her that Princess Adira has managed the pirate planet alone since her father's demise and didn't leave it. She is single, and although she got many proposals, she rejected them all.

"Rejected them all. Why?"

"She told everyone that she is already engaged"

"WHAT!!!! Engaged? seriously?" Flora gets shocked as her goal to make Dragon and Adira partners is shattered now. Neil told her that it was all he gathered yet and if she wanted more information. She interrupts and refuses him to gather any more information as this is more than enough. Now she was confused about what to do and from where to find a partner for Dragon. She was in her thoughts and suddenly a servant came to her and informed Neil that there is a royal letter for highness from the pirate planet. Neil took it and read it for her "Greetings to Highness. I am Adira and I want to meet you alone to discuss some matter. I will be waiting for you". Neil told her to not accept the meeting as it can be a trap. "Oh come on Neil, you are thinking too much", replied Flora "I will go and meet her. You just need to hide this from kings". Neil tries to stop her but she runs away. Flora sneaked into the aircraft to the pirate planet and met Adira.

"Highness, actually I want to tell you something which might be offensive and I am ready to face any punishment but if I didn't tell you this, then I won't be at ease"

"Relax and tell me what's the matter? What is concerning you?"

"I..I.. want you to stay away from King Dragon", she replied and immediately kneeled.

"What...I mean why? Why do you want me to stay away from Dragon?" Flora asked in confusion. Adira told her that she just wanted her to not get close to King Dragon as she wants to marry him.

"WHAT?" Flora was stunned by what she heard just now. "First get up and say it clearly, what do you mean by marrying him?".

"Actually when my father was going to war, he told me that when he would come back, he would propose marriage to Prince Dragon but he didn't return and she got busy with the planet's work. But now when I finally get the opportunity to approach him then I guess you are my rival", explained Adira.

Flora laughed and hugged her, Adira was confused as she accepted her to be angry but instead, she was laughing.

"You don't know but you lifted a huge burden from my shoulders. Don't worry I am not your rival anyhow but I can be your cupid for sure", Flora said "Didn't you get why he suddenly told you to not be a part of Drake Galaxy? Because you told him that you can't marry within your galaxy".

Adira gets what Flora is trying to say and smiles as she can finally fulfil her father's dream. Flora asked her if she wants to marry Dragon because of her father's wish or because she loves him. Princess replied that her father wished her to marry prince Dragon only because she loved him. Now Flora was finally relieved that she found a perfect partner for Dragon.

"I remember you said that you haven't left your planet for a long time, so how about taking a break and coming to Drake palace with me?" asked Flora and told her to prepare for the departure. Adira was confused but Flora insists and she agrees.

At night, when Dragon came down to eat, he was shocked to see Adira. Flora told him that she invited her friend to eat with us. Dragon was nervous in front of her and Flora didn't leave a single chance to be a cupid. She used her magic and spilt water on him and signed Adira to help him. When she helped him, he was nervous and his heartbeat was getting out of control. He held Flora's hand and ran to his room.

"What are you doing?"

"I...I...I think I'm sick. My heart is beating insanely"

"It's called lovesickness", she teased him "Don't get nervous, it happens when you get close to the person you love". She came out and Adira asked if he was okay and she told her that everything is fine. Adira told her that she needs to propose to him properly, and whatever his answer will be, she respects it. Flora wishes her to get a positive reply.

Dragon was on the terrace, Adira came from behind and greeted him. He asked her to drop formalities as Flora said earlier, they are friends. She took a deep breath and said "King Dragon, I want to marry you. Would you allow me to be your partner?"He was surprised by her sudden confession and didn't know how to answer her. 

"It's okay if you don't want to but I need to confess to let you know and....", Dragon held her hands and told her that he would love to cook for her lifelong if she didn't mind. Adira gets happy and hugged him "I would love to eat all that you made for me".

The next day, Flora came out and was surprised to see them together in the kitchen. She pinched herself to tell if it was a dream. She thinks about what happens within a night that they become like this. She remembers how she first saw him dancing with ingredients but now got someone to get romantic also. They saw her and asked her to wait for her breakfast. Food is served and they all sit together to eat. Flora picks up a dish and Dragon takes it away from her hand and told her that it is not food for her as it is made of peanuts, especially for Adira.

"Wait a minute. Who will tell me now, what happened last night?"

They both look at each other and hold hands, and Flora gets surprised "Wait that means...""I proposed and he promised to cook for me from now on", said Adira with a smile.

"Woah! Congrats guys, it's so fast. I mean I didn't accept him to be this romantic", expressed Flora and called Neil to prepare for their departure to the Frozen Galaxy.

Dragon asked her to stay some more days but she refused as her work is done here and she needs to speed up with Snow as the universal link-up is near. When she was leaving, Adira thanked Flora for helping her and apologised to her again for asking her to stay away from Dragon. Flora assures her that she didn't mind and asked her to be happy with him and never let him feel inferior. She bids farewell to them and left for the Frozen galaxy. Adira told Dragon that she admires Highness and all that she did for them, she won't forget her help.
