 Welcome to our very first contest! Deadly Game is a contest for FlashFic in the mystery/thriller genre. We will be accepting stories through November 15, 2021 that are 1000 words or less.  We gave you 3 mind blowing prompts to use.  Let the games begin!

Prompt #1:  The town is plagued by a serial killer. This person has been leaving a trail of bodies and the police can't seem to catch them. When they kill the wrong person, they face a new threat - one much bigger than the police.

Prompt #2:  Arsons are keeping the run down buildings in check - or so you thought. Suddenly, buildings all over town are going up in smoke. It seemed harmless until remains were found inside one of them. Were they all to cover up something more sinister? Or was this something that happened by chance?

Prompt #3: You thought it was just a neighborhood Halloween pastime. But then "You've Been  Booed" arrives on your doorstep.  How friendly is this little game?  You wish you never played.  You can't believe your eyes or  your mind.

1. The story must be 1000 words or less.

2. Contest deadline is 11/15/2021 at 11:59PM CST. Winners will be announced within a week after the contest is over.

3. Only English stories are accepted!

4. The entry can be a new story that is written for this contest specifically or part of a collection of short stories. However, only stand-alone stories can be featured on our Reading List.

5. We do accept LGBTQ+ .  We do not accept mature stories so please keep your stories acceptable for all audiences.  Stories must adhere to Wattpad Content Guidelines.

6. Only one entry per person.

7. Please make sure your story follows the chosen prompt .

8. You may share your entry for others to see in the comments below.
