After being sent several times to do some missions, Kyoga finally finishes the last one and returns to ECG Base. Just like before, he fell unconscious after suffering the headache problem once again. However, this time was quite troubled, since his headache occurred in the middle of the fight and caused him to be unable to move after fell unconscious. Luckily, it is just a B-rank terror and the two Shadow-Knights can defeat it before they bring Kyoga back to the base. They also report it to the elders. The first elder was quite concerned about Kyoga, so he asked the doctors-team to run the full test again on Kyoga. But yet, they can't find anything unusual inside Kyoga's body as usual. The result only mentions Kyoga being exhausted and less rested during those missions. One of the doctors said it could be the side effect of being stuck for too long in a Dimension world. After all, that place was not suitable for the human body or Knight either. The headache would be gone itself as time goes by. Right now, they can only give him some medication to endure the pain. The elders are still worried about Kyoga's condition but have no choice to follow the doctor's advice, for now. For Kyoga himself, he didn't tell anyone in the ECG about the voice that was talking inside his head when the headache happened. He thinks no one could believe him as well even if he says so. He just kept for himself. Back in his room at the base, he was thinking out loud about the headache that recently often happened but that is not what he is concerned about. What he is concerned about is the voice that is talking into him. Something like provoked or seduced, asking him to join with the voice, together will become much stronger. Kyoga realized that it was the devil's voice asking him to surrender to darkness. If he does that, then he will become another Fallen-Knight, just like the one that happened to Genji. He must not let the Devil win, so Kyoga still keeps on fighting with his inner Demon as long as he can. He believes he can keep his faith and not waver. On the other hand, the elders just announced a new Golden-Knight inheriting the Golden-armor of Gokagi, it's Corvin. Remember him? Corvin in the part one when he countered with Kyoga in his town, he is still a Cabaron (Copper-Knight) back there. Now he has already risen to Golden-rank. How is it so fast? Well, let us track back to Corvin's journey in summary. When the battle at the town E, almost all of the Knights that were around the neighborhood towns came to assist, including Corvin. Most of the Knights that participated in that battle have been recognized for their contribution by the Elders and got a chance to be promoted (if they can pass the test obviously). Corvin was doing his best to pass the test so he could get promoted to higher rank, and that's why he got promoted to Bronze-Knight at that time. After he accomplished so many countless missions, there was one time, an incident happened where some Silver-Knights had fallen into darkness, turned into Fallen-Knight. They formed a group and created chaos. Corvin with his mentor (a Silver-Knight), along with his apprentice (a Cabaron) and also a bunch of few Bronze and Silver-Knights, together defeated those rebels. And the most critical part is when they're in danger, Corvin successfully led them out of the trouble and slay two Silver-Knights terrors on his own in those fights. Then he gets appreciated by the elders and has a chance to take the Silver-Rank test. Turns out, he succeeded in passing the test also, and finally reached Silver-Rank. Now it has been a few months away since Corvin has become the Silver-Knight. One day, the elders open some kind of petition to find a new host for the Golden-armor of Gokagi, to see who's fit to become the next Gokagi. For the record, any Silver-Knight (including newcomers) can participate in the petition of the Golden-Armor as long as they have passed the first 3 months since the first day they became the Silver-Knight. Corvin at that time of course has passed 3 months, so he has a right to participate too. Among all the participants, Corvin was the one chosen by the armor. The elders were so surprised too at that time. They can't believe that a mere step-up new member of Silver-Rank not for so long, can be favored by the armor. It must be destiny and "The-One" that the armor is waiting for. Finally, Corvin's dream has become true. Kyoga also heard the announcement and joined the celebration. The remaining Golden-Knight are away for duty so they can't join. However, the elders already let Senami to inform them. When Corvin meets Kyoga, he arrogantly tells Kyoga that he finally made it to the Golden-rank like he promised. Kyoga congratulated him, but he did not appreciate it, instead just walking away. Kyoga doesn't want to bother it and only says one thing to him.

Kyoga: "Having confidence is a good thing, but if it's too much it can also bring you down."

Corvin: "No need to worry, that day will never come for me, huh..." (grin a smile),

After that short conversation, both of them walk separate ways until one day, the elders ask both of them to go on a mission together. Also to let Kyoga mentor Corvin as a new member of the Golden-rank. Even Corvin doesn't want it, but he can't refuse it since this is his first mission as a Golden-Knight. When the short brief is done, then both of them are dispatched away. Not long after, they arrive on a deserted island somewhere around East-asia. Someone approaches them, it's a "Connector". For the record, a connector is part of a Knight-Agent that is doing undercover as a civilian. Since he already stayed on this island for quite some time, he is very familiar with the situation here. After they confirmed his identity was real, then they followed him to a place nearby where the connector stayed. The connector is telling them in a short briefing about the island and the citizens here. But there is also another very important thing that he got to tell them. About a week ago, he saw a bunch of people coming to this island in the middle of the night and some local people came to welcome them. Then brought them into the deepest of the forest, and arrived at an abandoned Bunker. There are two people guarding the Bunker. So, it might be something important that they are doing there. The bunch of the people later get inside. About 15 minutes later, they came out with a person tied up on a patient bed. Then they put him into a truck that was already standby there. The connector barely can see it in the dark, but he was sure it doesn't look like a normal human. More looks like a monster, or maybe terror. Even though he can't get inside because of the heavy guard, he believed they were doing some secret experiment inside. So, this is what Kyoga and Corvin must investigate later (about the bunker). One night, Kyoga and Corvin decide to go to investigate the bunker. They took down the guards and hid them at the back of a big tree. Then they get inside the bunker using the ID card from one of the guards to get access. It was an elevator, and led them to the lowest ground of the bunker. After coming out from the elevator, there is a long hallway with some big rooms on the left and the right, and finally a big room at the end of the hallway. But they couldn't get in, because it requested an ID Passkey and Password to enter the room. So, Kyoga and Corvin entered one of the rooms there and took down two staff members. They took the ID Card and disguised themselves as the staff with their uniform, however they still missed the password. So they get into another room there, and luckily there is a staff member there who is drunk. So Kyoga pretends to be his partner then talks to him.

Kyoga: "Hey, wake up man... don't sleep any more."

Drunk-staff: "Wha-what?? Don't disturb me, okay? Let me sleep for a while."

Kyoga: "The final room needs us there to check for usual things."

Drunk-staff: "Oh, come on... you can do it yourself. I'm so sleepy right now."

Kyoga: "Well, okay... but what is the room password?"

Drunk-staff: "What?? Are you some kind of new here, buddy? Come on... give me a break..."

Kyoga: "Well, you know... I easily forget something, see?"

Then the drunk Staff looks at Kyoga with dizzy eyes, but he can't see it clearly because Kyoga cover his face with a mask. So, he tried to look at Kyoga ID card. Then, Kyoga immediately realizes that and shows him the ID card close to his face on purpose, so that guy can't see it clearly. Then he just answered Kyoga with a random name that he knew and told Kyoga the password of the door. Soon, Kyoga and Corvin continue to that room. When they got inside they were so surprised by what they saw. The room was very big and there were so many tubes there. Each tube contains a person inside there. Maybe not a person, a monster or beast, because they look like it. Some of the staffs there were back and forth checking on the tube and also the device on the tube. Some kind like a monitoring device, but there is also a computer device that controls everything inside the room. Don't know what they are doing, but it seems like they were busy. That's why they are not paying attention to Kyoga and Corvin. Corvin walked slowly, looking at the tube one by one and also the monitoring device at each tube. Corvin somehow suspected something. Then Kyoga calls Corvin to come to him where he is standing near the computer there. When Corvin approached Kyoga, he showed Corvin something that very amazed them from the computer. Turns out, those things inside the tube were once a human. They can't believe what they saw and it's true. This bunker is doing some illegal experiments here. They somehow turn the human into this beast or monster by injecting the essence of terror inside the human, then put them to sleep inside the tube to monitor their progress. Because not every human is suitable for the process. For those who can't survive it, will fail (died). Those inside the tubes, still under progress and the one that the Connector saw who has brought away with the truck must be one of them that succeed. Suddenly, the alarm is ringing, continuing with the computer voice that tells, "intruder, intruder alert". Then everyone inside the room immediately recognized Kyoga and Corvin wasn't the staff there. They immediately call the guards to banish Kyoga and Corvin. Before Corvin and Kyoga could get out of the room, the bunch of guards was already here. Corvin and Kyoga have no problem taking them down. Then suddenly, one of the staff there pushes the button at the computer, turns out it opens the tubes and all of the subjects fall down to the ground. Not long after, they all started slowly standing up. They were looking at Kyoga and Corvin because both of their positions were the closest one. The monster immediately rushed to attack Kyoga and Corvin. They were quite strong because their level was almost the same as an A-rank terror, and not to mention there were so many of them, about a dozen. Kyoga and Corvin were quite in trouble to handle them. So they have no choice but to transform into Golden-Knight to match their power. After exchanging a few strikes with them, Izagi uses one of his signature blows called "Seikō-Ryūseizan(StarLight-Meteor Slash)" that summons so many astral blades then rain it down on the target to kill them once and for all. With that blow, Izagi succeeded in slaying half a dozen of them with one blow. Then Gokagi also did the same. He put his signature blow too, called "Sagan-Jihōzan (SandRock-EarthSlide Slash)" to put down the remaining monster. Then, Izagi suddenly yelled out loud because the headache occurred again. Gokagi-Corvin came to him to ask what happened,but when Izagi looked at him, he saw Gokagi as a terror. He immediately attacked Gokagi-Corvin without saying anything. That left Gokagi-Corvin confused. Gokagi-Corvin doesn't know about the Izagi situation yet, so he thought Izagi must be insane. Then he put out all his strength, to defeat Izagi. And luckily, he succeeded. He took advantage of Izagi when he could not focus because of the headache, and immediately struck at him with the elemental strike. Izagi took the blow perfectly and fell down to the ground unconscious after returning to human form. After that, ECG sends backup to clear up that place and evacuates all the scientists and the staff who worked there to interrogate and also bring Kyoga back to the base for treatment. Later, the Elders tell Corvin about Kyoga's condition, then he quite sympathizes with him. No matter what, they are already one-time partners so it's normal to be concerned about his partner, he thinks.
