Lizzie woke up with up with her head pounding like a war drum. Her wrists were bound, her back ached and she was crammed into what smelled like a rusted-out truck bed.

"Fuck. Kidnapped again."She muttered.

Groaning, she turned her head and spotted Hayley unconscious beside her. Lizzie kicked her.

"Ow!"Hayley jolted awake, glaring. That glare quickly morphed into panic as she realised they were tied up.

Before either of them could get their bearings, the trunk door flew open. A figure reached for Hayley but she kicked out, nailing him in the chest. Lizzie recognised him as Tyler Lockwood.

"Seriously?"Tyler growled.

"Tyler?"Hayley gasped, stunned.

"You better untie us before I snap your neck."Lizzie threatened.

"You don't want to fight me. You can't beat a hybrid."Tyler warned, smug.

"Maybe not right now. But give me five minutes and a thimble of magic, and I'll have your head on a spike."Lizzie snapped.

Tyler said "I know what you are. That's why I'm not touching. But Hayley? I'll slit her throat if you try anything."

He raised a knife for emphasis.

Lizzie groaned "Bad doggie."

Hayley lunched at Tyler, screaming "Let me go, you backstabbing half-breed piece of shi..."

Tyler pressed the blade to her neck, drawing blood as he said "Shut Up!"

He dragged them out and into the woods, hauling them toward a rundown cabin. Lizzie groaned "Another creepy cabin? Great. Because that went so well last time. Remember, Hayley? The witches?"

Hayley scowled "Where are we?"

"The armpit of Louisiana."Tyler deadpanned.

"You attacked us. In our backyard!"Hayley snapped.

" It's not your backyard, it's Klaus'! You're shacked up in that mansion with that psycho. A long way from the girl I've met in the Appalachians, helping other werewolves. And the siphon witch that tag along."Tyler bit out as he looked at them.

"Tyler, I'm sorry, but a lot has happened since the last time we saw you."Lizzie apologised.

Tyler said " You mean that you're pregnant? I know all about your hybrid babies."

He added, looking at Hayley while he pulls down Hayley's sweater-sleeve so we can see the birthmark on her shoulder "Also I've been roaming around the Bayou, asking questions. Let me tell you what I learned! This crescent birthmark means you come from a big-shot family. Some kind of royalty for the werewolves of this region. And right here... this is all that's left of them. "

They look around, and see more shacks and tents made of blankets. Hayley spots a blonde girl standing nearby, watching them and she yelled as a young woman froze in the trees, then ran "Hey!"

Tyler said " They can't help you! They're in the woods, hiding, because they were persecuted for decades by vampires. "

"Tyler, there's been a wolf watching me lately. Protecting me, like it instinctively knows that I'm part of it's pack. You're a hybrid, you can turn into a wolf whenever you want... Was it you?"Hayley said suddenly.

Lizzie blinked "He just kidnapped us, Hayley. And you think he's your emotional support wolf?"

Tyler said shaking his head "No, but you're right...only hybrids can control when they change. And I'm the only one left, besides Klaus. Which is why we're here."

"Whatever you think of doing, Tyler, Klaus and the whole freaky Original family plus Faye and Lizzie's brother will rip you apart if you hurt Lizzie and the babies."Hayley warned.

"And you think I'm afraid to die"Tyler snorted.

Lizzie laughed "Everyone's afraid. Even Klaus."

He didn't answer. A man named Dwayne entered the cabin. Tyler rummaged through a bag and pulled out a giant syringe.

At the sight of the syringes, Lizzie started to get scared knowing this was likely not good.

"Tyler, please! Don't hurt her!"Hayley begged.

He ignored her and said "Klaus destroyed everything good in my life! So, I'm gonna take away the thing he wants most!"

Dwayne grabbed Lizzie and held her down.

"Get off me!" Lizzie screamed.

Tyler jams the syringe into Lizzie's stomach and draws out a measure of their blood. Lizzie screams in pain. One he removes the syringes from her body, he moved toward Hayley and Dwayne's necks, injecting the blood into them and snapping their necks as Lola screamed in horror.

Tyler lifts Hayley and Dwayne's dead bodies up off the floor and drags them over to the other side of the room while Lizzie glared at him.

Lizzie screamed at him "You killed her! I swear, I'll find your friends and make you watch while I torture them! And the first one that will go... will be Caroline!"

Tyler sneered "Relax. She'll wake up. That was the point."

Lizzie realised "You're trying to turn her and Dwayne into hybrids. That impossible!"

Tyler pursed his lips slightly as he tilted his head "Isn't it? I've been running with wolf packs all over the country. One of them was tight with a witch. She had nightmare visions about your babies and how Klaus could use its blood to make an army of hybrid slaves."

"I'm sick about the witches and their visions about our babies, it's just babies!"Lizzie scoffed, rolling her eyes.

"Maybe. Maybe not. That's where Dwayne and Hayley comes in. You see, Dwyane was happy to be the test case. If you haven't noticed, these people don't have much to live for. They'd all welcome the chance to become the superior species. Trouble is, all hybrids are sired to Klaus. They follow his every move. No way I let that happen."Tyler shrugged as he He grabs knife from his bag and sets it on the table.

"How can you be so sure Klaus knows what the babies blood will do?"Lizzie asked.

"What do you think? Klaus Mikaelson, killer of men, women and puppies, all of a sudden wants to be a daddy? Or, he's got an ulterior motive. Hybrids can walk in the sun. Their bite is lethal to vampires. They'll take over New Orleans by the end of the week. And you know what's going to stop Klaus then? Nothing."Tyler scoffed.

Suddenly, Hayley and Dwayne wake up with a gasp. Tyler then forced them to feed on Lizzie who screamed in pain before they stopped feeding and fall to the ground in pain. Tyler pushes them outside and leaves the shack to tend to them. Lizzie notices the knife on the ground and strains to reach for it. When she realizes she can't reach it, she instead grabs a broken chair leg from the floor. Tyler was then back.

"It worked, didn't it? They're hybrids." Lizzie asked.

" If Klaus gets a hold of you, if he gets those kids, he win. He'll take your kids away, and he'll make more hybrid monsters. Slaves who do everything he says. " Tyler told her.

"Tyler, whatever you're thinking of doing, there has to be another way. You're not like this!" Lizzie pleaded.

Tyler tried to grab Lizzie but Lizzie was able to siphon Tyler who groaned in pain and she then used her magic to throw Tyler away from them before using her power to stab him with her mind. He groaned in pain. He pulled the knife out and said "That was stupid!"

Dwayne and Hayley rushed in.

Hayley said "Get away from her!"

"What do you care?" Tyler remarked.

"We said get away!"Dwayne told him.

"You got what you wanted, now get lost!"Tyler says, annoyed.

"Dwayne, he's gonna kill us! And he's gonna kill you, too! He said that hybrids are too dangerous to live! You need to stop him!"Lizzie said.

"SHUT UP!" Tyler shouted.

Dwayne comes behind Tyler and tosses him across the room. He lands on the floor, and when he gets up, Dwayne runs to tackle him. Lizzie sees that Tyler dropped the knife within reach, and uses it to cut herself free. Tyler eventually overpowers Dwayne and rips his heart out. When he turns back toward Hayley and Lizzie, he sees that they have escaped and becomes furious.

Hayley and Lizzie run as fast as they can through the woods, Tyler's knife still in Lola's hands. They stop to hide behind a tree. As they catch their breath, Hayley hears someone approaching. She braces herself ready to attack while Lizzie holds the knife, ready to defend herself.

Hayley turned to attack but it's just Elijah . He holds her hand steady to protect himself and smiled "Forgive me. I thought you were in danger. It appears I was mistaken."

Hayley sighed in relief before embracing him before she eventually pulled away.

Elijah frowned looking at Hayley "Something is different with you."

"Tyler that kidnapped us made her a hybrid."Lizzie explained to Elijah.

Elijah's eyes widened as he said in confusion "But that's impossible without the doppelgänger's blood."

"Apparently, the babies' blood can make hybrids. A witch had a vision that Klaus will use the babies' blood to make an army of hybrids slaves. Klaus must have known, that's the only explanation! He could care less about the babies, he just wants them to be born so he can use them to make more sired hybrids. Although... the way I feel and the way Dwayne acted... it's more like I am sired to Lizzie."Hayley mumbled with resentment.

"And Tyler say it? So of course you believe him?"Lizzie scoffed.

Elijah suggested looking at Hayley and Lizzie "I should take you home, both of you."

"Are you serious? Home to what?"Hayley asked bitterness in her voice.

Elijah sighed "Look, regardless of my brother's intentions, mine remains the same. I said I would protect the both of you and the babies, even, if need be, from Klaus himself."

"I don't believe Klaus would use the babies that way."Lizzie said.

"You can't be blind just because he's the father of the babies, Lizzie." Hayley scoffed.

"Well at least I'm not blind to believe someone like Tyler freaking Lockwood, am I?"Lizzie bit back.

They continued to the path in the direction of the wooden shack.

Klaus was looking for Lizzie and Hayley.

They turned around to see Elijah emerging from the woods. Klaus smiled at the sight of Lizzie as she rushed toward Klaus, though he noticed how the Marshall tried to stop the siphon from going after him.

"There you are." Klaus said, embracing Lola.

She kissed him, before pulling away, smiling.

Klaus then shoved Dwayne's dead body in front of them as he said "Perhaps you could shed some light on the situation. This appears to be a hybrid. "

"His name was Dwyane."Hayley told him.

"Well, whoever it was, I didn't sire them. Any idea how that's possible?"Klaus asked.

"As if you didn't know!" Hayley yelled, stomping towards him.

The hybrid girl attempted to storm towards Klaus but Elijah stopped her from going after Klaus.

"Ahhh, well, aren't you two fast friends? Oh, come on, then. What kind of horrible accusation have you conspired to levy against me?" Klaus smirked.

"Tyler Lockwood brought Lizzie and Hayley to test a theory. That the blood of Lizzie's children could be used to sire hybrids. He claims that you knew that. Furthermore, that you intended to use this knowledge to build an army." Elijah explained.

"Are you seriously telling me that you believe that piece of shit?"Lizzie scoffed.

"Shouldn't we?"Hayley retorted.

"Hayley! How could you think that?!"Lizzie exclaimed.

"And, of course, you assume it's true. I mean, why else would I show interest in the children carried by the woman I love? In my own flesh and blood? A heartbroken little crybaby points his finger at me, and my own brother falls in line, eager to believe it! How quickly you believe the worst, especially when it comes from her."Klaus says, looking at Elijah while glaring at Hayley.

"Oh, spare me your indignation." Elijah said calmly.

"My big brother. So, you doubt my intentions? Well, I can't say I'm surprised, standing next to the noble Elijah, how can I be anything but the lesser brother? A liar, a manipulator, a bastard. That's all I am to you, isn't it? And Rebekah. And, judging by the way Hayley hangs on your every word, it's clear she feels the same way. No doubt my children will as well." Klaus countered back.

"Seriously, Elijah, you are supposed to stand by his side and not doubt him!" Lizzie scolded.

"Brother, If I..." Elijah trailed.

Klaus interrupted him, filled with anger "You've said all that needs to be said, brother. I'll play the role I've been given."

He stepped back a few steps and holds his arms out in defeat before he turns as though he's going to walk away, but instead, he turns back quickly and vamp-runs over to Elijah before biting him savagely on the neck. Hayley screams in horror and runs over to him .

Klaus looked at Elijah and Hayley before saying "You two enjoy each other's company. You'll have much to bond over, once the hallucinations and dementia set in. Consider that bite to be my parting gift to the two of you. "

Klaus vamp sped away with Lizzie.

While Klaus drove them back to the mansion, he asked Lizzie "Why did you defend me?"

"Because they were being stupid. Hayley actually believed the guy who kidnapped us. I never liked Tyler. And plus you, I am starting to know you, Klaus, and I know you would never do something like this."Lizzie told him.

Klaus nodded and said softly "Thank you."

And they smiled at one another.
