Dead Angels
The next day, Lizzie walking into the cemetery with Klaus.
"So Jo and Luke to retrieve the souls of Cami's family. Since she decided it was okay to use the weapon as a leverage to get back these."Lizzie said, pointing to the suitcase Klaus was holding full of dark objects.
"You don't honestly believe they will accept half of what they asked for, do you?" Lizzie then asked Klaus.
"Ah, I should have known Camille would seek powerful fools to aid in this rather futile gambit. As I send you off to join your Ancestors, just know this is her fault." Klaus greeted as he lunges for Vincent, but is promptly blocked by his boundary spell. Vincent looks slightly smug and doesn't even flinch as Klaus glares at him.
Lizzie used her siphoning abilities which caused the bondery spell to be now down.
Lizzie then grabbed Vincent in a chokehold as she yelled to Cami "Cami, come out, whenever you are? The barrier is down because if you don't, I'll kill the annoying witch."
Cami vamp sped and said "Let him go."
Lizzie dropped Vincent to the ground.
"There she is! Traitor to my family, thief of that which is mine." Klaus told Cami.
"Don't be dramatic. Like I said, I wanted your attention. And, seeing as you're here, I'd say I got it." Cami said, rolling her eyes.
" Yes, a rather effective tactic... one I usually reserve for enemies. And here, I thought we were intimates. You chose your side, Cami. You chose to threaten us. Which is why Jo and Luke trapped your dead family souls in a gemini boundery spell, kinda a spirit boundery spell that can trap ghosts of some kinds. And let me translate what is going to happen to your dear uncle and brother dead spirits if you don't give us the weapon. They will casted another spell to kill and destroyed their souls which end like being dead a second time." Lizzie says as she showed that on her phone was a video of the spirits of Sean and Cami's uncle on the trapped in a salt circle.
"Seriously? I thought we were friends." Cami asked.
"That friendship was over the second you took that weapon and like I told you if I have to kill you, so be it!"Lizzie smirked.
"Okay, I'm gonna let you guys alone. But, uh, you all want my advice? Y'all best to finish this up before someone finds out what she took." Vincent said, walking away.
"I think you need to calm down. Count to ten. Focus on your breathing." Cami commented smugly.
Lizzie sped over to her and started siphoning from her as Cami screamed in pain as Lizzie asked "Is this amusing to you, endangering my family, you stupid bitch?"
Lizzie then let go of Cami.
"Am I laughing? I want to put this all behind us." Cami said.
"You, of all people, know what I am capable of, and yet you seem determined to incur my wrath. I'm gonna ask you one last time..." Klaus sighed.
" 'Give me the white oak stake?' Am I right? My answer is: "Happily! As soon as you stop screwing around and give me back what is mine." Cami said.
"If I give your trinkets back, I embolden all manner of foolishness. You will grow arrogant under the false belief you have power, and ultimately, you will end up dead." Klaus said looking unimpressed.
"Klaus, you're afraid something will happen to me? Guess what... Something already did. Your ex hates me so much she murdered me. She's gonna have to pay for that. And, since I can't fight her fair and square, I need those dark objects."Cami says.
"Go retrieve the rest of the dark magic, Nik. And we try your way. She want leverage for not giving the weapon. I'll texted Jo and Luke to torture the souls of her family until she gives us the weapon. Go." Lizzie said and Klaus left.
Cami try to stop her but Lizzie snapped her neck. She then texted Luke.
Vincent came back and tried to do the barrier spell but Lizzie's spell were too powerful.
Cami woke up and said "You bitch!"
"You gave me no choice. Until I get the weapon, this is punishment."Lizzie says.
"Klaus should be back by now." Cami then changed the subject.
"He's got a lot of witch weapons to pack up... Not to mention all the pride he's gonna have to swallow." Vincent says.
"You don't actually feel sorry for him, do you?" Cami scoffed.
"Well, Cami, you should be worry about yourself more than Klaus right cause you really angered me and my siblings and most of us want your dead, unless we changed their minds but with how you've been acting, I doubt we will."Lizzie chuckled.
" Hell, no! But you got to admit, you poked a real irritable bear. Things are gonna be different between you two." Vincent says to Cami.
" I know Klaus better than anyone outside of his family and Lizzie here. If using that knowledge is a risk to get what I want, then I'll take that risk."Cami said.
"Okay, well, here's the thing. Klaus let you into his life because he trusted you. That girl never would have stolen the one thing under the sun that can kill him." Vincent remarked.
"That girl is dead." Cami stated.
"And maybe... just maybe you should had stay dead. Cause you are just a cold version of yourself." It's a good thing your family is not here to see what you've became. They would be so disappointed you. Especially your uncle. He always did his best to protect his precious niece."Lizzie growled.
That night has now fallen, and Lizzie, Vincent and Cami, still completely oblivious to Klaus' arrival due to the privacy spell that Madison cast, continue to sit around anxiously until a powerful wind blows through the tomb, rattling a wind chime made of animal bones. Vincent immediately looks concerned by this omen and stands to his feet to investigate.
"Something's not right. Hey, stay here." Vincent said.
Cami, looking worried, does as she's told and watches as Vincent walks out of the tomb. Meanwhile, outside, Klaus is looking even more anxious now as he shouts for the girls "Camille! Lizzie!"
Cami and Lizzie rushed outside the tomb to find the cemetery full of fog and lit candles. Vincent walks toward her from the opposite direction, and they looked relieved to see him.
"Where have you been?"Lizzie asked.
Vincent raises one finger to his lips in a shushing gesture before he replies in a low voice "We're not alone."
"I think we have a witch company."Lizzie told them.
Cami and Lizzie suddenly hears someone approaching and looks behind Vincent as the rest of the Sisters , all in their black cloaks, approach them. Vincent turns so that he can address them with as much authority as he can muster, raising a hand both to stop them from coming closer and to block Cami and Lizzie from getting any closer to them as well.
"This here is hallowed ground, home to the nine covens of New Orleans. Y'all need to be on y'all's way." Vincent said.
For a moment, it appears as though the Ancestors lent Vincent their power, but the Sisters quickly throw both Vincent, Lizzie and Cami against the wall of the nearby tomb, nearly dislocating Vincent's shoulder in the process. Vincent looks at Cami anxiously.
"Okay, I'm gonna give you one guess what they're here for, Cami. Either they're gonna kill you, or Klaus will for losing that thing. You need to go." Vincent told the vampire.
"No. What about you?" Cami said.
"Go. Run. Now!" Vincent says.
Cami and Lola reluctantly leaves them behind and does as they're told, while Vincent prepares to fight against the Sisters. However, when Cami and Lizzie rushes into a tomb to hide, they caught by Madison. Cami takes one look at her and frowns "Who the hell are you?"
"Does it really matter? You know what I've come for. Hand it over." Madison asked.
Cami clutches onto the wooden knight even tighter behind her back, but otherwise doesn't move, and Madison gives her a hard look.
"I'm not going to ask twice." Madison said.
When Cami still doesn't give her the knight, Madison snaps her fingers, which breaks her left ankle. Cami screams in pain and falls to the floor, but continues to take the torture rather than giving her the knight.
Lizzie vamp sped to attack Madison but she got her neck snapped.
Madison breaks her other leg, and Cami rolls onto her side while she tries to come up with another plan. Madison smiles gleefully, mildly impressed by Cami's fortitude "You have a high tolerance for pain. Let's see how high."
Madison flicks her wrist again, breaking Cami's arms and wrists until the knight falls out of her hand, allowing Madison to summon it toward her. When Cami sees her pick it up off the ground, she cries out in horror "No, no!"
While Madison is distracted by looking at the wooden knight, Cami rolls over, grabs a light bulb from the briefcase of dark objects, and smashes it onto the ground. Whatever the dark object is meant to do, it seems to be causing an earsplitting noise that causes Madison to shriek in pain. Cami desperately crawls toward her to take the knight back, but Madison manages to push through the pain in order to cast a spell to get out of there "De tu me ne zhan fen!"
A huge burst of wind blows through the tomb, and Cami ducks her head to avoid being hit with any projectiles. After a moment, she finally lifts her head to find that Madison and the white oak are both gone, and she starts to cry when she realizes just how badly she has screwed up.
Later, Lizzie gasped awake hearing Klaus argued with Vincent and Cami.
" You realize this is your doing? Your attempt to manipulate me played right into our enemies' hands!" Klaus said angrily.
Lizzie stand up.
"And I said I'm sorry." Cami sighed.
"Your apologies won't bring back what's been lost!" Klaus said exasperatedly.
"Then shut up and let Vincent track down that witch!" Cami snapped.
Vincent begins walking away.
"Where do you think you're going?" Klaus asked.
" I want to find her just as much as you do, but I cannot concentrate, not with this pointless bickering." Vincent said.
"Well, then, by all means, please, go, attend to your task." Klaus says.
Vincent leaves and Cami goes to follow but Lizzie stand in front of her and says "I want to know what happened."
"Cami lost the white oak." Klaus explained.
"What were you thinking?" Lizzie asked.
" Did it occur to you the immense danger you placed yourself in? You were almost killed!" Klaus agreed.
"I would have been. Thank God I had my dark objects." Cami stated.
"Well in a real fight they won't save you." Lizzie said before she added "And that just show how weak you are really are, Cami. What? So you can't survive without your dark objects?"
"The amount of vulnerability you're feeling right now, Klaus... that's what I deal with all the time. Why do you think I'm so desperate to protect myself? If you had just given me what I asked for..." Cami sighed deeply.
"Do not blame me." Klaus cut her off.
"I took a calculated risk, yes. Did it blow up in my face? Yes. And I am sorry. I am. But if you had just listened to me, we wouldn't be here right now." Cami said.
Lizzie jumps when Cami's phone rings.
"It's the same story with you, Klaus. For a thousand years you-you control, you manipulate, you do whatever you need to do to get your way. And I'm not gonna be a part of it anymore. I don't care how high the risk is." Cami continued.
Lizzie release the souls of Cami's family and send them to the Spirit World so they'll find peace.
"Answer your bloody phone, would you?" Klaus said irritably.
Cami answered the phone and asked "What?"
"Cami, you have to listen to me. One of the Strix witches knows where you are and she knows that you have the white oak." Davina said on the other line.
"You're a little late, kiddo. She already took it, which means... I guess the Strix have it now." Cami told her.
"No, you don't understand. When she got inside my head, I got inside hers. She's not working for the Strix." Davina says.
"Aurora."Lizzie realized.
Later, Lizzie and Klaus gave Cami a ride home and they confronted her about what had happened.
"I have killed many, many people for far less than what you've done." Klaus told her.
"What do you want me to say, Klaus? 'Thank you for not killing me?'"Cami scoffed.
"You're in the throes of a metamorphosis you cannot possibly comprehend. One that has clearly impaired your judgment." Klaus sighed.
" I may not yet know who I am, or what I am, but I do know I will never live in fear of anyone again. Ever." Cami says.
"Let's just leave, she won't listen. So there is no point of talking to her. Oh and by the way the souls of your family are now in Spirit World, they'll find peace. You're welcome." Lizzie said, walking away with Klaus.
They went home. Lizzie joined Klaus in the courtyard having a large sip of bourbon.
"What a day." Lizzie mumbled.
Elijah joined them.
"I trust Freya had no luck finding that witch." Klaus said.
"Not since the last seven minutes you asked, Niklaus. So no." Elijah says.
"Aurora's involvement changes everything." Lizzie sighed.
"If Aya and the Strix had the oak, we could at least be certain you were not the target. But with the weapon in Aurora's hands..."Faye said, walking in.
"I do wonder which one of us she'll try and kill first. You broke her heart, I... broke her mind. I suppose the both of us share the sin of Tristan's unceremonious burial at sea." Elijah shrugged.
"Mmm. It's normally we who pose the threat to our intimates. It's an odd feeling, the roles reversed. I always did loathe irony." Klaus grimaced.
"If Aurora have the stake, we know she's not working with the Strix..."Faye pointed out.
"We'll defeat her and Nora." Lizzie said.
