The next day, at the compound, Faye joined Freya in one of the studies upstairs, where she is sketching a rough draft of a spell in an empty grimoire. However, she stops what she's doing when she hears footsteps pacing back and forth behind her. It was Klaus and Lizzie and Klaus looks extremely anxious and Lizzie shakes her head.

Faye was wearing a sweater with a jacket, a pant and some boots.

"You're hovering." Faye muttered once she noticed Freya pauses for a moment.

Klaus rolled his eyes, leaning against the armchair as he said "I'm supervising. How else to speed up your endeavors? Let's see. Perhaps I should bring Vincent here? Force him to aid you by removing his legs?"

"I doubt Vincent doesn't know how to kill Lucien, either."Lizzie scoffed.

" Besides, if he leaves the St. James, who knows what the Ancestors will make him do next?" Freya cut in.

Elijah walked in.

"The Ancestors are thoroughly occupied, according to Davina and Liv, terrorizing our brother."Elijah informed.

"What a surprise! Another day, another witch-inspired vendetta."Klaus expressed with sarcasm.

"Well both Jo and Davina can take care of Kol for now. Let us focus our energies on Lucien. How do we demolish that rodent?"Elijah told them.

"I'm working on it." Freya sighed.

"Yes! While we all have our roles to play, Elijah can stay here with Faye and Luke and oversee whatever Freya is doing. I'm going to actually accomplish something." Klaus said as he speed.

Lizzie speed in front of Klaus and said "If you're going to Cami's, then I'm coming with you."

Lizzie stare into his eyes before walking out of the room.

Lizzie stroll down the French Quarter beside Klaus, her hand entwined tightly with his.

"Are you okay?" Lizzie asked quietly.

"You referring to the almost death of my brother or my arch nemesis becoming overpowered beast." Klaus sighed.

"We'll defeat him." Lizzie told her as she move around him walking to Cami's sliding glass door about to enter when she get stuck by a boundery spell, glacing up at Cami on the sofa.

Klaus appeared behind her and said "It appears I'm unable to enter."

Cami stands to her feet and walks toward the door, clearly surprised by his unexpected appearance.

"So is every other vampire. I put the lease in my neighbor's name, compelled her to forget. I can go get her and have her invite you both in..." Cami stated.

"No. You were wise to take precautions. No one should be invited in, even me. I only came to see that you were safe." Klaus said, shaking his head.

Lizzie sense the uncomfortable aura coming from Klaus.

Cami offered a small smile "Klaus? Lizzie? I haven't had the chance to tell you how sorry I am... about Finn. Losing a sibling is awful."

"Yes. Well, I'll find solace when Lucien is dead." Klaus smiled weakly.

"And what about Aurora? By now, she could be just as powerful, and if you still harbor feelings for her..." Cami asked.

Klaus scoffed in annoyance "I don't care about Aurora. I care about Lola. And we care about you. But then, you've made your feelings of us perfectly clear."

Klaus reached for Lizzie's hand but Lola pull away.

"I'd like to talk to Cami alone. If she doesn't mind." Lizzie mumbled.

"She'll be safe here Klaus. I'm happy to invite her in." Cami told Klaus.

Klaus sighed pressing a quick to Lizzie's forehead "Be safe."

"You too." Lizzie nodded, smiling.

He then disappeared into the crowd.

"Amy, babe. Can you invite my friend in?" Cami called, walking out of the apartment bringing in a young woman.

Amy smiled brightly "Of course. Come on in my dear."

"Thank you." Lizzie says, nodding and closing the sliding door behind her, watching Amy leave to her apartment.

Lizzie walked into the kitchen fixing up two cups of coffee.

"So... What did you want to talk to me about?" Cami trailed.

"I did a spell to find out what is Lucien's next move and I had a vision of you. Lucien will kill Amy and he will bite you with his poison bite. He doesn't know that siphoning is the cure. I have a plan to save your life but you have to do exactly what I say." Lizzie told her.

"What is the plan?" Cami asked.

"Once I cured you, until Lucien is taken of, you, Sage and Finn will leave town. He needs to think you are dead. You'll go into hiding. You'll come back once he is dead and the prophecy is over." Lizzie says.

Cami goes to speak when they hear yelling outside in the back alley.

"I'm not gonna let you hurt my brother." Lizzie hear Klaus spit.

She rushed out of the apartment alongside Cami, the two of them peering around the corner. She freeze to the spot seeing Lucien leaning over Klaus snapping his right wrist abruptly.

"Sadly, you don't have a choice." Lucien smirked.

He slammed a familiar weapon, the Papa Tunde blade into Klaus chest. Lizzie go to try help Klaus when Cami grips hold of her arm, shaking her head.

Lizzie stared at Klaus for a few seconds longer watching Lucien pick his body up.

They followed him before she guide Cami away to the compound, the feeling of guilt gnawing away at her.

Lizzie walked into the compound with Cami following her.

Faye, Sage, Luke and Hayley appeared by her side.

"What's wrong?"Luke asked.

"It's Klaus... Lucien has him." Cami spoke as she frantically holds her hand up at the invisible boundery.

"Freya! Invite her in!" Faye told Freya.

Freya blinked overwhelmed "Yeah, come in, you're invited."

Cami looks nervous as she takes a step forward, and once she crosses the threshold with no problems, she rushes toward them. Lizzie takes a look outside to make sure no one else is coming before following the group in the courtyard.

Cami says, looking at Lizzie "Lizzie, it's not your fault."

"What are you talking about?" Hayley asked.

"Nik and I visited Cami, Nik left I stayed."Lizzie answered.

"Lizzie and I were talking when we heard a commotion outside." Cami says, nodding.

"Tell us what happened." Elijah told them calmly.

"Lucien ambushed him. He knocked him around like it was nothing. I stopped Lizzie from helping. It wasn't worth both of us dying." Cami explained.

"Did he bite Klaus?" Luke asked.

"No. He didn't." Lizzie said, shaking her head.

"He wanted Klaus alive. We followed them. Lucien took Klaus back to the penthouse." Cami added.

Elijah's phone buzzes, and he scowls when he sees that he has received a text from Lucien "Lucien is demanding my presence at the Whiskey Cask... alone and immediately. He says if I delay, Niklaus will die."

They all look anxious and overwhelmed as Elijah turns and walks toward the door.

Elijah is in the courtyard, about to leave to meet with Lucien, when Faye approaches him.

"Are you seriously going out there?" Faye asked.

"I'm seriously going out there." Elijah sighed.

"Elijah, the whole point of putting the deed to the compound in Freya's name was to make this place impenetrable. Now, you're gonna pick a fight with a guy who can kill you?"Faye stated.

"Yes, when you put it that way... It does sound a little reckless." Elijah uttered quietly.

"Elijah? Be careful."Faye sighed.

Before he leaves to meet with Lucien, he kisses her passionately and leaves the compound. Gia watches as he disappeared behind the door and she sighed.

"Everything will be okay."Hayley assured.

"I hope so."Faye said.
