Protective Instinct
Lizzie rolled awake the following day, so she quickly get out of bed and started dressing up. She decided was wearing a sweater with a jacket, a pant and some boots.
When she was done dressing up, her phone start lit up, she saw Klaus name.
She answered it "If this is anything short, of the world caving in, I'm gonna skin you alive. Where in the hell are you?!"
"Cami's missing." Klaus explained.
"Tell me everything." Lizzie said.
"Davina's injured." Klaus sighed.
"Just give me a bloody explanation!" Lizzie exclaimed.
"I went to go and find Mikaelson and Davina, I found them, shoved Papa Tunde's blade in Mikael's heart and he somehow got it out, and has decided to take Cami's hostage. So, I'm in quite a bit of predicament right now." Klaus explained.
"Send me the address. I will be there soon and even if I don't like the witch, don't do anything to her." Lizzie told him.
"I won't." Klaus said.
Lizzie hang up.
She drove to the address as she began to tread through the mud. She headed toward the small hut, at the top of the hill.
"Davina, are you there?!"She asked.
The door suddenly flung open to reveal a disheveled Davina.
"Lizzie."She gasped.
"Come in." Davina then says.
Lizzie walked inside.
"I need to break out Klaus sireline." Davina then says.
"No way!"Lizzie a told her.
"I know how close you are to him, but if I break his sireline, then he can die, without Marcel and Josh having to die." Davina explained.
"You can't do this, whatever happening to Klaus might happening to me! I'm his wife! And you raised Mikael from the dead, part of what is happening is because of you!"Lizzie exclaimed.
Her eyes landed on a boy, hiding around the doorway and she scoffed "Who the fuck are you?"
"Who are you?"He replied.
"Lizzie Parker. So I'll ask again, who the fuck are you?"She introduced herself.
"Kaleb."He replied.
She hummed staring at him. There was something not right about him. She could feel it.
"He's a friend, Lizzie."Davina stated, pulling her attention away from Kaleb.
"Well considering you raised Mikael from the dead, I don't really have much trust in your judgement right now."Lizzie muttered, kneeling down and looking at her ankle.
She laid a finger on her ankle, making Davina hiss out in pain.
"Sorry."She muttered before she demanded "Witch boy, get me some chamomile and garlic."
"Garlic?"Davina asked skeptically.
"Healing properties, come from the earth. My sister Jo used to use it it on my bruises all the times. If I infuse the two together, I can heal this horrific sprain, with a touch of magic."Lizzie explained.
"Thank you." Davina whispered.
Lizzie returned with the herbs.
"Sana contritos, quasi unus."Lizzie chanted, as a pie of salt like grains appeared in her hands.
"Water." She demanded as Kaleb handed her a glass.
"Liquefacio." She chanted, as the water turned green, like the herbs.
"That looks horrible." Davina muttered.
"It tastes worse. Bottoms up."Lizzie chuckled, handing her the glass.
Davina grimaced, as she forced herself to down the glass. Within a minute or two, the bruises began to fade away.
"You can't kill Klaus."Lizzie then told the witch.
"Klaus has inflicted so much pain, on so many generations of innocent people, don't time his time has to come?" Davina asked.
"No, I don't. But let me tell you a secret, D, he has a son and daughter, now. He deserves a chance to raise them."Lizzie told her.
"They survived." Davina muttered.
"And you never heard me say it. Just, cut him some slack, for them." Lizzie smiled.
"He helped kill me, Lola. He killed the boy I loved." Davina said in disbelief.
"And I can never make up for that Davina, but I can swear to you, I will never let it happen again." Lizzie swore.
"Sorry. But I can't let go of this. Klaus need to pay." Davina said as Kaleb came up behind Lola, snapping her neck.
Lizzie opened her eyes to see that the house was empty, Davina was gone and so was her witch friend, Kaleb.
"Fucks sake Davina."Lizzie cursed, rolling off the sofa and calling the teenage witch, Davina answered in seconds.
She demanded, marching out of the house "Where the fuck are you?"
Davina was the one to answer the phone, in a matter of moments "We're on our way, to save Klaus."
"Davina, where are you?" Lizzie demanded.
"Kaleb will send you the address." Davina said.
"Davina..." Lizzie started.
But Davina had already hung up.
Only moments later, the text came through, with the address. She forwarded it to Hayley, praying she would get there in time.
Lizzie reached the old warehouse, letting the car skid to a stop as they threw the door open, marching over to Davina the second their eyes laid on hers. They were being corned by Marcel and Kaleb by her side as she approached.
"You are lucky to be alive, young lady. You wanna tell me what the hell you were thinking?" Marcel told Davina.
"Yes, D, what in the hell were you thinking?" Lizzie asked, crossing her arms.
"Can we not do this right now?" Davina requested.
"Oh, I am sorry. Are we gonna embarrass you in front of your little friend, not snap my neck and leave me dead in the woods?"Lizzie asked sarcastically, shaking her head before she asked, turning to stare at Kaleb "Who the hell are you anyway?"
"Yes, who are you?"Marcel questioned.
"Oh, we've gotta stop meeting like this, pal." Kaleb said, looking at Marcel.
"He's my friend and he's helping me." Davina snapped.
"Helping you do what? Wage war on Klaus, and help me get killed in the process?" Marcel replied.
"I just saved Klaus' life trying to protect you!" Davina argued.
"Yeah, from a psycho-vampire-hunter that you brought back to life..." Lizzie stated.
"Alright, enough! Well I... I think it's enough. It should be enough. I mean, we're all friends here, aren't we?" Kaleb interrupted.
"Just stay here 'til I get back. I'll handle Klaus." Marcel said.
"I'm coming along, you'll have a better chance at fighting Mikael if I'm with you. No offense." Lizzie says.
"None taken." Marcel said as they left together.
Marcel and Lizzie found Klaus and Cami.
"Fuck."Lizzie said as she hugged her husband.
" You pulled the stake out in the nick of time. A moment longer, I would have been done for." Klaus told Cami.
"It's the least I could do for telling you not to kill that bastard the first chance you had." Cami said.
"Well, he hurt you. For that alone, I will kill him. No one mess with my blonde friend."Lizzie told her.
"You know, in a thousand years, I think it's the first time I've seen him run." Klaus commented.
"He was still weak." Lizzie said.
Hayley walked in.
"And, he knew he was outmatched. We checked the perimeter, and he's definitely gone." Hayley said.
"I appreciate your assistance." Klaus sighed.
"Well, hey! You die, I die. Just call me selfish." Marcel smiled.
"Yeah, you die, a lot of people die. But Klaus? We have another problem..." Hayley said.
