They had sent Hope and Theo to be with Hayley was out in the bayou since it was the only other place that was spelled for their safety.

Lizzie and Klaus were together in Klaus art room.

"If the plan to kill Dahlia failed, there is another way. I could drain her off her magic until she dies."Lizzie suggested.

Elijah came into the room and says to Klaus "You put them in the paint. Father's ashes, the earth from sacred ground, all hidden in plain sight."

"Elijah..."Lizzie trailed.

"What are you doing here? You're supposed to be guarding Hayley and the children."Klaus asked.

" She's gone. She and Jackson took the children. And you will not find them, brothers."Elijah explained.

"You let her just take our children without even asking me!"Lizzie exclaimed.

"Lizzie, I'm sorry. Rebekah wanted to tell you but we couldn't risk that you wouldn't tell him."Elijah apologized.

Lizzie used her bond to her brother to project her thoughts to Luke "Luke, can you hear me?"

"I do hear you."Lizzie heard in her mind.

"I need you to find Faye and Jo and tells them what is going on. And together go to Hayley and do everything possible to get Hope and Theo back. Kill them if you have to."Lizzie projected her thoughts to her brother.

"I will."Luke replied in her head before breaking the connexion.

Klaus growled at his brother "You helped Hayley escape with our children!"

"Well, someone had to protect those children."Elijah responded back simply revealing a daggers from inside his jacket vamping towards Klaus.

Klaus becomes so enraged that he vamp-speeds toward Elijah, shoving him backward until he is bent backward over the railing to the balcony overlooking the city.

"How dare you!"Klaus yelled.

Elijah grabbed his brother's arms, twists it and him around, and throws him back into the room, where they crashes into one of his tables. Klaus tackles Elijah and throws him backwards onto another table as he holds him down by the chest.

"I'm a hybrid, Elijah. Why provoke a fight you cannot win?"Klaus stated.

Instead of replying, Elijah pulls the golden dagger out of his jacket pocket and shoves it into Klaus' as Lizzie screamed "No!"

Taking advantage of Klaus' distraction, Elijah pushes him upright and shoves the rest of the dagger's blade into Klaus' chest. Klaus was so taken off-guard by this move that he has no time to fight back as the dagger begins to desiccate him.

"For the children."Elijah said.

As Klaus falls to his knees and becomes weaker, Lizzie went to attack Elijah, using magic to choke him but before she could continue, Freya and Rebekah appeared and chanted a spell on Lizzie which put her on a magical coma "Tenebris somnum."

Lizzie falls to the floor, unconscious, her eyes closed.

Elijah, Freya, and Rebekah each look at each other nervously. As Elijah walks out onto the balcony, looking horrified by what he's just done, the three hear the bell tower of St. Louis Cathedral playing Dahlia's tune to the city.

A/N This chapter was awesome to write. But let me tell you, Elijah, Freya, Rebekah and Hayley won't know what is coming. Haha, lol.
