Rebekah enters Lizzie's bedroom, where Lizzie is sitting in an armchair and Hayley is laying on Lizzie's bed. Luke lays next to Hayley.

"Time for the demon spawns to snack!"Rebekah grinned.

Lizzie laughed "I really wish you wouldn't call them that."

Rebekah asked "Oh, sorry, have you picked another name yet?"

Rebekah holds out basket of apples as she said "Take one, the plantation's lousy with them."

Lizzie chooses an apple and holds it for a moment before she replied "I feel fine... which is weird. I'm sure it's Sophie-related."

Rebekah said "Then, do me a favor, and don't die on my watch. I'll never hear the end of it."

Lizzie admitted "You know, when I first met you, I thought you were a real bitch."

Rebekah smiled "What changed your mind?"

Lizzie laughed "Oh, I still think you're a bitch! I've just grown to like that about you."

Rebekah chuckled before her face becomes more serious "Aw, well, that's sweet of you to say. Remember it when I'm gone."

Hayley frowned in confusion "Gone? Where are you going?"

Rebekah said " I only came to town to make sure everything was okay with Elijah. He's fine, and he hasn't punished Klaus for daggering him, so... as usual, they'll be thick as thieves, and I'll be left to clean up the mess. It's time for me to fly the coop."

"Oh..."Lizzie says.

Feeling awkward, she goes to bite the apple in her hand, but she suddenly starts to feel woozy before she gets the chance to eat it.

Rebekah frowned "What's wrong?"

Lizzie shakes her head.

Lizzie said " I dunno, probably morning sickness..."

Rebekah told her, placing her hand on Lizzie's forehead "Oh, you're burning up, actually."

After that, Lizzie lay in her bed as Rebekah blot sweat from her forehead and chest.

"Stop fussing, will you? Elijah will be here any minute." Rebekah told her.

"I feel like I've been microwaved."Lizzie complained.

"Hey! Just because you're carrying two babies doesn't mean you get to act like one or be overdramatic! I'm sure my little niece and nephew are healing you  up as we speak." Rebekah remarked.

Elijah runs inside with Sophie and the one and only, Faye Bennett. Faye Bennett was the best friend of Luke and Lizzie and she had been born a siphoner in the Bennett family and was abused by her family. Only her grandmother Sheila had been kind to her. But Faye was now an heretic because Damon Salvatore had turned her.

Luke asked "What the hell is she doing here? Faye, you're here!"

"Well you texted me and with my new vampire powers, I came.  You should've texted me sooner."Faye sighed.

Sophie sighed "I'm trying to help."

" Help? You're the reason we're in this bloody mess! Why aren't we unlinked with this witch already, Elijah?" Elijah asked.

"Let her do what she can." Elijah said, calmly.

"I may know a way to slow the fever down. But, I'm gonna need some special herbs. I'll text you a list." Sophie explained while she turned to look at Rebekah.

Elijah nodded at her in encouragement, and though Rebekah does not look pleased to be being ordered around again, she eventually relents and smiles at them patronizingly "Fine. Happy to play the fetch girl."

Rebekah stomps out of the room, and shoves the washcloth she was using into Elijah's chest as she leaves.

Later, Lizzie was wrapped in a towel, sitting outside beside the swimming pool. Rebekah and Hayley stand behind the girls, checking their temperatures while Elijah assist Sophie, Luke and Faye in helping with the herbs. Elijah removed his coat.

"She's burning up! We need to do this now."Elijah said.

"Get her in the water!"Faye ordered.

Hayley jumped into the pool and helps Lizzie. Sophie mixes herbs in a cup and follow them in.

"I don't see how a midnight swim is supposed to help."Rebekah said.

"Their temperatures are sky-high. The water, with the help of the herbs, should cool us down."Faye explained as Sophie gets into the pools and hands Lizzie the drink.

"Drink this!" Sophie instructed.

Lizzie drinks. Sophie turns to Hayley.

Sophie said " You're going to have to get their hearts rate down."

Hayley asked "How do I suggest I do that?"

"Hold them. It's a natural human remedy to slow the heart rate and reduce blood pressure."Faye responded.

Rebekah said worriedly "This is never gonna work."

Hayley is holding Lizzie bridal-style in the pool.

Elijah said "Davina will break the link, we just need time."

 Lizzie cling to Hayley. She groaned as she gasped for breath.

Lizzie begins hyperventilating.

"I can't breathe!"Lizzie exclaimed.

"Okay, long deep breaths, Lizzie! Look at me. Long deep breaths, just focus on the sound of my voice.  You'll be okay. You'll be okay."Hayley whispered.

Lizzie yelled "AHHHH! AHHHH!"

Sophie started to gasp as the linking spell begins to lift. Lizzie continue to groan in pain. Sophie looked up at the sky before she said "I just felt it lift."

Rebekah, Elijah and Luke sighed in relief.  Lizzie started to calm down and Hayley looked stunned. Lizzie stands up on her own but still leaned against Hayley. Sophie removes one of her earrings and pokes her palm with it. Lizzie don't get injured,  confirming that the link is broken. Hayley quickly lets go and leads Lizzie out of the pool.

"Come on,Lizzie."Hayley said.

Lizzie exited the pool as well.

Sophie said as she caught Elijah's arm "Elijah... as soon as your brother find out that the link is broken, he'll kill Agnes. I know you don't owe me anything, but please, don't let him kill her."

Elijah zooms out of the pool and pulls his phone out of his jacket on the table.

"Elijah! She's our only access to the power we need to survive. Promise me that you'll stop him!" Sophie pleaded.

Elijah dialed a number into his phone and raises it to his ear.

" It's me, where are you? Don't hurt her. I'll be there shortly." Elijah said on the phone before he hung up.

He then turns to Sophie and said "I'll make you one last promise. I won't let my brother kill Agnes."

Sophie nods at him gratefully, and Elijah picks up his jacket and shoes and walks away. Sophie turn to get out of the pool, but Lizzie  stopped Sophie at the steps.

"I know you were just using us to save your people, but try it again, and we'll kill you."Lizzie threatened.

Lizzie exited the pool, and Sophie sighed in defeat.

Later that night, they heard a doorbell and go to answer the door, Lizzie was with Hayley. Faye and Luke had went to sleep. Faye decided to stay.

They are greeted by Josh and asked "Where is he? I've been trying to find him all day. Marcel knows that Klaus lied to him about where he lives. "

"We're not his damn keeper, Josh."Hayley sighed.

"Fine! Just... tell him to call me, please." Josh said in frustration.

"Of course."Lizzie says, nodding as she shut the door about to walk away when she heard the door again.

"Ugh, what the hell, Josh?" Lizzie groaned and opened the door and saw it was Marcel.

"Hello there girls, I'm Marcel. I don't think we've met!" Marcel smiled.

"Marcel. What do you want?" Lizzie asked.

"I was hoping to speak to Klaus, you wouldn't happen to know where he is would you?" Marcel said.

"Well, he's not here, if that's what you asking."Lizzie mumbled.

"You should leave."Hayley told Marcel.

"Well this has been a pleasure. See you around." Marcel says as he leaves.

Lizzie closed the door.

Hayley went into the backyard for some fresh air.

Suddenly, Lizzie spot Hayley falling to the ground, Lizzie's eyes widening feeling a hard impact on the back of her head.

Lizzie fell unconscious.
