We Have Not Long To Love

It was a new day. All was well out in the city and the Mikaelsons were enjoying breakfast. Elijah had returned to the compound with his memories intact making things a little tenser since the children and Faye and Lizzie were still reeling from Hayley almost dying because of him. Klaus soon decided to do something about the amount of tension in the room and decided to speak, looking at Josie, Hope, Theo and Liv "So I heard you are taking advanced magic classes at the school."

"Yeah, we are. It's one of my favorite classes."Hope smiled.

Lizzie was wearing a top, a brown leather jacket, a jean and some boots.

Faye was wearing a top with a jean jacket, a pant and some boots.

"How's auntie Hayley?" Hope asked while eating.

"She is spending time with her husband and Andrea. And the crescents. But she's okay." Kol told her.

"So, Rebekah will be back in a few days. She's just tying up some loose ends overseas."Klaus added.

"It'll be nice to have her here."Liv replied with a happy smile.

"It'll be good to have all of us under one roof again."Freya agreed.

Elijah entered the dining room and approached the table.

"Good morning. Obviously, there is a lot for us to discuss. Hope, let me begin by telling you how truly sorry..."Elijah greeted.

"Thanks for breakfast, guys, but I have homework to catch up on."Hope said, slamming the bent fork onto the table which slightly startled her brother and cousins.

Lizzie opened her mouth to call out to her daughter but she pushed her seat out then stormed out of the dining room, heading straight to ger bedroom. The air in the room became very tense and Liv clears her throat, her eyes sending her brother a message and said "We have a project for one our classes that we need to finish."

Theo, Liv and Josie quickly nodded and stands up, following Hope out of the dining room and Nikolai followed them.

Faye sets down on her fork in a huff and leaned back in her chair, pinching the bridge of her nose. Elijah follows suit with her sigh and walks toward the pulled out chair that Hope sat in before he arrived.

"That's not normal. She's not normal."Klaus says, more so telling him than the adults in the room.

"Actually, it is normal. She's like me when I was her age. Sometimes when I was angry my magic got out of control. And you forget that Hope's magic is mixed with not only the magic she got from me but also the magic she inherited from your bloodline."Lizzie pointed out.

"And she's a firstborn witch." Freya added.

"She almost lost her aunt, Niklaus. " Elijah said.

"You can't even say her name. We almost lost Hayley because of you!" Lizzie scoffed.

"I shouldn't have come down here."Elijah stated.

"So what should we do?" Kol asked.

"Let them cool down or when I had those, one thing was helping." Jo told them.

"What?" Freya asked.

"I scream as hard as I could and release the magic of my anger and afterwards I felt better."Jo told them.

"There is something else we need to talk about. Greta might be dead but her followers..."Kol trailed.

Later, Hope was painting, but stopped playing when she sense her aunt's presence.

"I know you're there."Hope called out to her without turning to look at her.

"I didn't want to disturb you."Jo softly spoke an walked further inside her room.

"Auntie Jo, if you're worried, I'd wish you just say something. Just say it." Hope told her.

"You bent a fork in half. And I had the same things with my magic when I was your age. It was caused by my emotions. When I was angry, bad things was happening until I release my magic." Jo said.

"Better than sticking it in the side of Elijah's neck."Hope muttered aggressively and the heretic sighed at her reaction at the mention of her uncle "He wasn't himself, Hope."

"I don't care. Okay? I'm not ready to forgive him, memory or not." Hope cuts her off and takes a deep breath.

"So, it's just Elijah, then? Nothing more?"Jo asked.

" All right. I'll keep saying this until you believe me: I'm okay. I promise." Hope said.

"I don't believe you. I think I know my niece. You blamed yourself for what almost happened on Hayley. And you don't want to admit it. So you decided to blame your uncle. Which is why your magic is out of control. I can help you that. Right now you are a ticking time bomb I'm gonna show you how to take care of it before you hurt someone or hurt yourself. Come with me."Jo said.

Jo had brought Hope to the woods so it would be completely safe.

"For the last time, Auntie, I'm fine." Jo says.

"You are far from fine, Olivia. You are one small moment away from a meltdown. Trust me, I know the signs. You know that feeling inside like a balloon constantly filling up, always on the verge of popping?" Jo told her.

"Maybe."Hope said.

"Well let it pop. Scream as loud as you can. Trust me, you feel better afterwards." Jo told her.

Hope turned to her aunt and she nodded for her to do so.

Jo sighed and screamed and as she screamed she made some plants fly and some sort of blast came through.

"You know I actually feel a lot better."Hope said.

Then they went back home.

They find Luke and Lizzie teaching Theo, Liv, and Josie their powers.

And they filled up everything to Faye and Hope.

A/N This chapter is a bit shorter than I wanted. I decided to do a scene between Jo and Hope instead. Anyway, enjoy the chapter.
