Wild At Heart

The next day, Lizzie climb up onto the bar downing a bottle of tequila grinning over at Cami who smirked at her.

Lizzie was wearing a top with a jacket, a jean and some boots.

"This is amazing!" Cami yelled mixing some cocktails.

"Oh yeah. come with me." Lizzie told her as she tug on her wrist leaving Rousseau's heading down into a dark alleyway.

"You hear that?" Lizzie asked.

"A heartbeat." Cami says, nodding.

"Two to be precise." Lizzie corrected rushing over to a couple making out against the wall.

"Good evening." Lizzie smiled politely.

They break apart abruptly.

"Who are you?" The boy scoffed.

"Watch and learn, Cami." Lizzie muttered under her breathe rushing over to the boy holding in a chokehold.

"Don't move, don't speak." She compelled tilting her head to the terrified girl.

The girl screamed turning to run when Cami stands in front of her.

"Go on." She encouraged.

Cami compelled her to stand still and ot talk.

"Now, when you feed you always heal them afterwards. Even, if you want to have more."Lizzie explained.

"And what if I can't control myself?" Cami frowned.

"We all make mistakes, Cami. That's how we learn." Lizzie told her as she felt her fangs come out, sharply biting down on the boy's neck. She feed listening to the heartbeat pulling away in euphoria.

"Leave. Forget this happened. You never saw my friend and I." Lizzie compelled him after healing him.

The boy trailed away absently.

"Your turn." Lizzie told Cami.

Cami leaned in feeding from the girl. Lizzie watched her while wiping her lips dy from blood. She heard the faint beats of the girl heart becoming lighter, almost none existent.

"Cami!"Lizzie warned.

Cami ignored her.

"Cami!" Lizzie said.

Growling in frustration, she pull her away from the girl restraining her up against the wall.

"Cami, I told you to stop when you hear her heartbeat fading." Lizzie angrily informed before she feel Klaus scent, so she asked "What do you want, Nik?"

"Great, this is just great." Cami said.

Lizzie rolled her eyes, pushing Cami to her side.

"You should listen to her. You need to learn to control yourself." Klaus said.

"I'm sorry, are you two, of all people, offering me a lesson in restraint?" Cami laughed in amusement.

Lizzie compelled the girl after healing her "Go find your friend and forget this ever happened."

"We should go." Klaus suggested giving Lizzie a look.

"He's right. You don't seem to be yourself." Lizzie agreed.

" I am myself, and I'm not finished. And, by the way, I resent the critique! I spent the last two years listening to every malicious thing you've ever done. How many hundreds of people have you killed, Klaus?" Cami huffed in annoyance before she turned to Lola and says "And you how many people did you kill with your magic?"

"Shut up!" Lizzie spat.

"Actually, I measure the number in the hundreds of thousands, leaving me no hope of absolution." Klaus sighed.

Cami crossed her arms.

"It's not a fate I wish for you. Or Elizabeth." Klaus says.

"But you've already lost that battle. It's obvious by how hard you're both trying to protect me." Cami said as Lizzie watched suspiciously as Cami approached Klaus placing a hand on his cheek only to snap his neck in one sudden movement.

"Cami! This is not you!" Lizzie yelled.

"You're right... It's better!" Cami said as she tried to fight Lizzie but Lizzie got the upper hand kicking in the face, breaking a few bones, making Cami groan in pain and Cami saw she would never get the upper hand, so she pushed Lizzie before vamp speeding away.

Later, after Klaus woke up, they were now standing in Lucien's elevator and arguing.

"Will you shut up! I had everyhting under control before you turned up." Lizzie complained.

"Really! Because from the looks of things she was about to kill someone." Klaus scoffed.

"I wasn't going to let that happen. Cami needs to adjust to this life in her own way. I'm hoping to help but I can't do that if she is constantly frustrated at you interrupting all the time."Lizzie told him.

"I thought we were going to help her together." Klaus told her.

"She's a woman who's life has changed. Nik, I can relate to that." Lizzie mumbled.

"I know that, Lizzie, but Cami's circumstances were different than yours." Klaus sighed before he asked "Was you said about killing Cami if you have to, will you really do it?"

"Yes." Lizzie answered.

The elevator doors ding open revealing Cami standing there about to walk in.

"I admit, even given your new outlook on life, I'm surprised at your willingness to compel. Past protestations of free will and all that." Klaus commented.

"What can I say? I've changed." Cami smirked smugly, throwing a dark object at Lola.

Lizzie dodged the weapon, catching it swiftly while Klaus prevents Cami from leaving.

"You're a fast learner, Camille, I'll give you that... But don't push it." Klaus revealed.

"And you didn't change for the better."Lizzie spat at the blonde girl.

Lizzie and Klaus vamp sped the three of them away to the compound.

"You have no right! Those dark objects are my family's legacy." Cami yelled agressively.

"You have no legacy. Or maybe your legacy are being stealers since all your family did was stealing them." Lizzie told her.

"Well, that's funny, because I seem to remember my brother Kol making them, so perhaps they've been my family's legacy all along!" Klaus agreed.

Cami sneered coldly "Give them back, or I will take them back, and I swear you will regret this moment."

"The only thing I regret is failing to realize how far you've spun out of control! And you can forget about leaving." Klaus told her.

"She was right, wasn't she? Aurora? She did this to turn you against me, to rob me of the one advantage I have over her... My humanity. And me, like this? It's a problem for you, isn't it? Not the darkness... that you find intriguing... the fact that I am out of control. I'm out of your control, and you hate it, don't you? You have spent ten centuries getting the entire world to tremble at your name, but you're the one who's terrified, Klaus. You are a scared little kid, convinced he'll be tossed aside the second he isn't needed." Cami said.

"You know who else was right? Luke. He told me to never trust you the second he learned from which family you were from. He did some informations and found about what your family did. Stealing things that didn't belong to them or murdering supernaturals. Yes, your family murdered many supernatural beings among the years. It is like the Gilberts all over again. I should stay away." Lizzie spat.

Klaus suddenly grabs Cami's arm and said "Let go of me!"

Just then, an exhausted and weary-looking Faye appears behind them and says "You can't just force her to stay here, Klaus."

"He can and she's been nothing but a bitch!" Lizzie told her.

"That's harsh."Faye said.

"Finally! Someone who's on my side." Cami sighed.

" Oh, don't get me wrong... I remember when I turned, and you for sure shouldn't have a box of witch crap."Faye told her before she said to Klaus "But, you can't hold her hostage, either. Let me talk to her."

"I hardly think now is the time for a women's empowerment meeting." Klaus scoffed.

Faye sighs and stares Klaus in the eyes with a no-nonsense expression "She died, Klaus, because she got caught up in the Mikaelson world. Just like me, Lizzie or Hayley. Just like Jackson. So yeah, she and I have a few things to talk about."

"Well, you do that. Me, on the other end, going to do my own plan what will happen to her if she betray us cause I think she will, so I'm going to meet with my siblings." Lizzie scoffed, walking away.

"She wants me dead!" Cami exclaimed.

"Don't worry about that." Faye told her.

"Look, I know it may not seem like it right now, but what you're going through? It does get better. And there are people around you that are willing to get you to that point. Cami?" She then said.

"Yes. That's very sweet, Faye, and I think you should take your own advice."Cami told her.

Faye seems slightly hurt and confused by this reaction, and after a moment.

" I mean, that is why you wanted to speak to me, right? To get some words of wisdom from the Mikaelson family therapist? I say admit it. It's not guilt, it's relief." Cami continued.

"What did you just say?"Faye asked.

" Oh, come on. It's just us girls! You don't have to deny it. It's obvious you feel guilty that Jackson became an immortal evolved werewolf because of you. I mean if you didn't make him part of your life, he would not be reborn as this." Cami says.

Faye looks absolutely furious, but does her best to keep herself calm, as she has been in this position herself. After a moment, she finally takes a deep breath and responds in a cold voice "You're going through a really hard time right now, Cami, but you are never, ever to speak to me of Jackson again. Do you understand me?"

The sharpness of Faye's tone seems to cut Cami down to her old self, and she looks horrified by just how cruel she just was before she begins to panic "I... I don't know what's wrong with me. Why would I say that?"

Faye sighs deeply, still furious about what Cami just said but knowing that she didn't necessarily mean it "You're manic. It's part of it."

Cami processes this all for a moment before she speaks " I think I wanted to make you feel pain like I do. And so I said an evil, unfair thing... An untrue thing, Gia."

Faye sighs again, but can't meet Cami's eyes "Forget it. You're not you."

"I thought I could handle this..." Cami said sadly.

"You can. You will. You just need time." Faye told her.

The two women sit in silence for a long moment, neither able to make eye contact with the other out of hurt and embarrassment.

"I think maybe I should go home..." Cami says.

Cami waits for Faye to say something, but when she does, Cami simply walks out of the room and leaves without another word.

Later on, Lizzie, Luke and Jo walked to Faye who was in her room the same time Klaus did.

"Where is Camille?" Klaus asked frantically.

"She went home. She needed some time, and yes, I let her go. I know you think you're helping, but all you're doing is pissing her off, and that's the last thing she needs. Trust me."Faye sighed.

"I really don't think..." Klaus trailed.

"Listen, Klaus. The Cami that you knew is gone. And whoever she's gonna be is something that she has to figure out by herself."Faye told him.

"I just wanted to keep her safe..." Klaus said quietly.

"Yeah? Well, guess what. The people you think you're keeping safe? Elijah, Rebekah, even the children? Sometimes, you do them more harm than good."Faye says.

Surprisingly, Klaus doesn't seem offended by this comment. Instead, it seems to have triggered a realization in him, and he huffs a dark laugh under his breath. Lizzie looks at him in confusion.

"What?" Jo asked.

"What Faye just said...keeping Rebekah safe? I know what the weapon is. I made it myself." Klaus said.

Klaus is frantically searching through the shelves and boxes in his study downstairs while the others watched.

"All my efforts to protect and provide comfort for my family..." Klaus says.

"Nik, you're not making any sense." Lizzie told him.

"The pale horse! It isn't a constellation, nor is it a Biblical verse. It's a... a trinket I made when we were children. A toy carved from kindling which I gave to Rebekah in the hopes of easing her fears." Klaus said in frustration.

Elijah frowned in confusion "I collected the firewood myself. It was fallen branches from everywhere, and..."

Lizzie realized "The horse was made of the white oak... That weapon is here."

"This doesn't make any sense. It was here. I saw it!"Gia exclaimed.

"When?" Luke asked.

"This afternoon. I swear." Faye says.

"Oh, I believe you. We're just here a little too late. There s only one other person capable of deciphering the witch's riddle, the very person with whom I shared my memories of that night... My trusted therapist." Klaus sighed.

"She decided her fate. I'm going to kill her if she don't give back the weapon."Lizzie told them.

"What?" Jo asked.

"Not kill her but I have an idea. You're gonna to do that Gemini spirit summoning spell. And summon the dead spirits of her uncle and brother and if she doesn't do what we want, you can make sure they'll never find peace if she doesn't give us the weapon."Lizzie told her siblings.
