"I am so sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going! You see I'm new here and I was looking for this room, but they haven't even given me a map! I'm terribly sorry to ask this of you, but could you show me where this room is? Is that rude to ask? I'm sorry, I can find it myse–"

"It's alright, I can help you if you'd like."

"Oh. Well, yes, that'd be very much appreciated."

SUMMARY
Cera Devereux transferred to Hogwarts from Beauxbatons at the start of her seventh year. She didn't really know how to feel about the sudden change. Her parents both found jobs in the area, so she really didn't have a choice but to move with them.
At first she was shy and kept to herself, only slightly talking to the girls in her dormitory.
But then she bumped into four boys that referred to themselves as the Marauders. They made her time at Hogwarts easier.
They helped her get around the castle.
They helped her loosen up.
They helped her discover what true friends were.
And eventually one of them helped her discover what true love was.

NOTES
-This plot was made for Magnificentrose for her birthday. It may not be claimed until she has decided whether or not she herself would like this plot.

-The description is when Remus and Cera first ran into each other

-Cera's a very proper girl as she's come from Beauxbatons, a very proper school. She doesn't quite know the gist of Hogwarts, but the Marauders are there to help her loosen up.

-All of the Marauders have their own opinion on Cera being French. Sirius sees it as an opportunity and attempts to flirt with the little knowledge of French he has, but fails miserably. James attempts to learn some French after he overheard Lily and Cera speaking fluently, and wants to impress Lily. Peter doesn't have much of an opinion other than he has no clue what they're saying. Remus however is fluent in the language, but uses his skill in only some situations.

-Relationship progression! This is Remus Lupin we're talking about! He doesn't jump into relationships! They should probably start dating towards the end of the year.

-Cera would probably make the first move, as Remus is such a shy person. I think they should just be hanging out, and somehow French is brought up and she's speaking random things in French. Like making fun of Sirius. Of course Remus knows exactly what she's saying, but chooses not to reply. Then out of nowhere, Cera gets really flustered and says(It helps if you're French cause I used a translator and it could very well be wrong. It should mean "I wish I could tell you that I like you."), "J'aimerais pouvoir te dire que je t'aime bien." And of course Remus knows exactly what she just said, but she doesn't know he's fluent in the language. You can decide on how he reacts from there. Maybe he responds, or maybe he runs away. Sort of depends on how their relationship is at that point.

-Cera shouldn't find out about his lycanthropy until after they've started dating, but when she does she takes it very well. She's very caring and helps as much as she can. She stays up late to help care for him after a long night. She spends her free time in the library reading about it. She just over all does her best to help him

-After the year ends, Cera should face something like having to move somewhere. There should be something that'll distract Cera. Eventually Cera and Remus realize their relationship won't work out if they're not together all the time, and they drift apart. But then just a few years later, Dumbledore forms the first Order of the Phoenix. They'll be reunited there, and their relationship should slowly build back up.
